“Visited for the first time after making a phone reservation more than a week ago - this place is very popular! Super friendly welcome, peaceful and calm atmosphere. We had two pasta mains that were very well made, al dente pasta, flavorful sauce. Very cozy on a chilly night. Service is perhaps a little slow but they want to make you feel comfortable and not rushed. Will definitely come back when we visit cape cod again!“

“There are hundreds of pizza joints on the Cape. Most are terrible. Quietly Umami has risen. When you walk into a pizza joint and the owner/operator is pulling a pie with flour covering her Levi's and chef clogs...well, ur on to something. Carol, I think her name is, has the audacity to call out Pepe's in New Haven. She kills it. The clam pie is ridiculous. I'm so honored to live close by. Don't miss this one. She's special.“

“Sunbird is one of my favorite breakfast spots on the cape. The food is unique and wholesome. My favorites are the breakfast tacos and chai latte. I love the picnic tables and patio in the back - such a relaxing spot to enjoy quiet or a catch up with friends!“

“We tried the raspberry filled donut, blueberry scone with lemon icing, gluten free brownie, and vanilla cake with strawberry filling and Earl Gray frosting. Everything was very good but the cake and brownie were our favorites. The bakers were very friendly to talk to. We highly recommend!“

Never had a blueberry white chocolate bread pudding. That was delicious and enjoyed by both of us! The tea service was elegant with a pot and cup in one.“

“Excellent customer service. It’s so easy to expect unhappy employees during these difficult times, but this is never the case here. Always friendly, smiling, genuinely happy. I ordered a burrito for my children forgetting 1 does not enjoy tomato’s. I came back in to order something more simple and the lovely employee gave me scrambled eggs and bacon in a to go bowl, complimentary. She didn’t have to do that. It was my error. So much appreciated. The food is fresh with flavor, and that’s hard to come by when ordering “quick” bites. Cheers“

“its a bagel place, not a huge menu but they do have coffee, tea and sandwiches in addition to bagels. You can get some pretty good sandwiches made vegetarian, I wish they had a few more options though with veg/vegan meat or mushrooms instead of real meat. Wife loves their Chai tea. Very small inside. A few years ago they had seating in the back. Not much, but you could get a table. On our last visit they had that area closed off. Parking is also a challenge. We'd probably visit here a lot more if they had seating again and the parking situation is bad. They share only a handful of spots with a couple other businesses. Also, the spots are short and narrow, if someone with a large truck or SUV is parked in one, it makes it hard to even drive or turn in the lot. There is a plaza across the street, maybe they should look into relocating there. Overall good place if you want a bagel, sandwich, coffee, or tea with options for vegetarians and non-vegs alike.“
