“Stayed at the Publik House on a Saturday evening in June 2025, on our way to the Cape for vacation. We were impressed with the historic setting, immediate nostalgia we felt while walking the grounds, the staff were exceptional, kind and pleasant... and the food ... well hands down it was the best meal we have had in a long time! Tender 1/2 chicken roasted slow, savory meatloaf, with the best lemon chiffon cake for dessert! And don't forget their sweet rolls with Pecans on top! Wonderful, wonderful stay, all around!“
