“Really wonderful experience here. All the food was delicious and came out fast, and the staff were so pleasant to chat with. The restaurant itself was clean and comfy inside, and there was outdoor seating too. Bathrooms also very well taken care of which is always a bonus.“

“For a guy who loves his bar to have good beer at a good price served by good people, this was like walking into Shangri-La. You can waltz in and grab a seat at the bar and enjoy yourself a pint of Guinness and enjoy some friendly conversation. After a day spent touristing, this was exactly the place I was looking for to unwind and actually relax. Made me think of all the pubs I frequented when I was a younger man hanging out with his buddies.“

Our family has been going through hard times and we don’t live in the MetroWest area, but we’ve been staying with our family and this restaurant has been absolutely amazing supportive and they offer great food! I’m from Connecticut and there is one pizza place that tops this restaurant but they are definitely number two because this is what I look forward to every weekend! The drinks and atmosphere is amazing and everyone is so friendly! They even have our favorite shot in a handle available when we come to the restaurant they bring it out for us! They really go above and beyond! I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who is visiting this area!“

“A group of us meet occasionally and play Mahjongg. I wish there were heaters outside for these Fall evenings. It’s so much nicer to be outdoors and playing! The beer is good (try the Lawn Mower….or is it the Snow Blower….I kept forgetting. It’s nice that outside food is allowed as well. Friendly place, good tunes.“

Take a grilled chicken sandwich: omnipresent on local menus, yet only The Abbey makes this a moist and delicious generous meal every time. “I’ve only ordered takeout from the Allston location before, but I was so pleased with the experience here. really chill, good music, great service, and amazing food. Highly recommend the burger and sitting on the outside patio before the weather gets too cold. Will definitely be back to enjoy again“
