“Pizza- MUST TRY ….. was the best wood fire pizza I’ve ever had (even in Italy 🇮🇹😳) the eggplant capers garlic was delicious 😋 the chicken cutlet was also delicious very moist (tender) 😉 and well there’s “salad” 😂

“I came here late night on a Saturday and enjoyed a slice of Pepperoni Pizza. It was SO TASTY. My favorite style pizza and it did not disappoint. It was very busy inside but I was in and out with a hot slice within 5 minutes. Pizza lovers, you have to try Joe’s!!“

“We had a large group. (13 people) And we had a reservation. They were able to take us early and it was easy to make a reservation, good service and delicious food. For the number of people, the food and drinks came out fast and everyone enjoyed their meal. I look forward to making another reservation soon for another meeting. Hopefully we'll be able to do dinner there sometime to see the different menu.“

“It's nearly impossible to find good pizza in Cambridge or Somerville these days, so I'm glad I tried this place. The dough was very gummy; not a good characteristic at all. But everything else about the pizza was so right that it compensated a bit. I give it a solid 8 out of 10. If they were to spray a bit of olive oil on the dough before applying the sauce and other toppings, that would get rid of the gummy problem. It they took care of that, and added a bay leaf to the sauce (pro pizza sauce tip), they would be the only 10 in town.“

“Favorite new pizza spot of the area!! Has the traditional style of New London style pizza, slightly greasy but not overly so, fresh baked, and you can tell they use quality ingredients. Highly recommend the mushroom and hamburger pizza, as well as the Greek style. While they may not have the Wood-Fired pizza options that you might get at some other pizza places in Cambridge, you get really traditional Pizza. That is just really tasty and a really good value.

Also, while they are on delivery apps, always try to go in person if you were in the neighborhood as it is hard work to be a pizza place in this city!“

“My boyfriend and I went per the recommendation of a colleague and it did NOT disappoint. We had the dumplings and flatbread for an appetizer, which were delicious, but the entrees and dessert stole the show. The chicken dish was so tasty. The carrot cake/cheesecake hybrid dessert with salted caramel ice cream was incredible. Our waiter was so helpful when it came down to picking what to eat and was so pleasant all night. Will certainly be coming back!“

“The BEST pizza in Cambridge! Our family has been enjoying the Half Shell for more than a decade. We love their pizzas, always perfectly cooked. And if you like pineapple pizzas like I do, let me tell you they cook it perfectly, no soggy mess like you get at the average pizza place. And the salads!! OMG, arguably the absolute best takeout salad ever. It has so many different veggies. This is no afterthought salad like you find at most places.“

The pizza was very good and the slices were large, like NY slices. I bought and walked out without our brownies, and had to return. They had them waiting for me. “Nice large helping of pasta for only $12. I ordered Alfredo with chicken and broccoli and the guy explained what they have isn't Alfredo from cream but but from oil and I said SEND IT. Foods delicious, feels original like there's some old Italian grandma in back whippin it up. Id recommend“

“I recently visited Monteverdi for Drinks on the patio and then more drinks and Dinner, and can I just say I have not experienced Cambridge like this before! From the moment I walked in, I was blown away by the stunning waterfront views - it’s the perfect backdrop for any meal inside or on the patio. The staff was beyond exceptional, making us feel right at home with their warm hospitality and attention to detail. Now, let’s talk food! My friend ordered the Rigatoni Bolognese, and it was hands-down one of the best they've had - perfectly seasoned with a rich blend of beef, veal, and pork, and she said the locally made pasta was just to die for. I ended up just getting the the Warm Marinated Olives since I am a light eater, but they were also a fantastic vegan option that's full of flavor and the perfect snack for someone like me. And the drinks that kicked off the evening, as well as during dinner (we maaay have had a round or 2)?! Let me just say, the VELO Vodka Espresso Martinis were the ideal pairing for everything we got - a smooth and rich cocktail that’s just as classy as it sounds. And it's also a locally made (& women owned) Vodka company! If you’re looking for outstanding food, drinks, service, and ambiance, Monteverdi is a must-visit. I can’t wait to go back!“

“I ordered takeout at Cambridge House of Pizza since I’d been seeing it on walks in the area. It always smelled SOOOO good. I decided to check it out. The service was really good. There were only two people working, but they were nice, chatted and got orders out quickly.I ordered a pepperoni calzone. Which was good. It had the nice salty cheesy unhealthy feeling but didn’t give heartburn and wasn’t overly greasy. I will definitely be back to order from here again.Note on price: it was $13 which felt mostly reasonable.Edit: I went back for an olive pizza a few days ago and it was pretty good, but not as good as the calzone. I wanted to order one of the specialty pizzas, but those are more expensive than some at artisinal places, so I didn’t.“

“We decided to give this place a try since it was within walking distance of our hotel and my son is a very picky eater. The food was delicious! My son got a 4-cheese pizza and I got a pasta dish with chicken, veggies, and a creamy tomato sauce (I forgot the name). The portions were huge (enough for 2 or 3 meals), and the service was very friendly. Highly recommend!“
