“Kimball Farms is THE BEST ice cream store around, I’m looking at you BEN & JERRY’s and JP LICKS. JP Licks was my go-to for ice every time for the past 2 years but experience Kimball Farms changed that for me and I can’t imagine ever going back to JP Licks. If you’ve never tried this place and still don’t plan to after reading this review, I simply feel sorry for you. You’re missing out on experiencing truly amazing ice cream.

“We had a great experience here at Fiorella. The food was perfectly done. The Arugula pine salad is one of the best salads I’ve had, the combination of Arugula, lemon dressing, olive oil and nuts just blend in very well together. Arancini is a must especially if you like garlic and marinara sauce. The seafood Diavolo was great, shrimp, haddock and scallops were fresh and medium cooked. Fanastic restaurant, special thanks to Emily and Rick for the hospitality and the recommendations.”

“Amazing food with a good veggie and fish selection. The owner is friendly, attentive and has a great sense of humor. He asked us how hot we want the Fish with Chilli, on a scale of 1 to 10, and I said 7 maybe 8... and "I don't mind if my eyes water a bit". After taking our order he came back with some napkins and said "here, in case you start crying". We all laughed. We had also ordered the green beans and they were so tasty. For starter we ordered the sesame bamboo shoots. They were a cold appetizer. Absolutely delicious and crunchy and slightly spicy. When I drank my water I noticed a slight "ting" or numbness on my tongue. A tell-tale sign of Szechuan Pepper. I asked him and he said yeah, they infuse it in the oil or something. Anyway, seriously, do not miss the place. If you're thinking about driving down to Billerica or Burlington to go to Sichuan Gourmet, consider Oxyear. Nothing against those places, but Oxyear is honestly right up there with them in terms of quality, selection, and taste. You will not be disappointed.

Vegetarian options: Like most Chinese restaurants, there are plenty of offerings that are mostly vegetables. We know you can't always assume the vegetable dishes aren't made with any animal products. It's best to ask. We are pescetarian for the most part, and we thought it was a great selection of veggies as well as fish.

Parking: It's the old Vic's which means there are at least 23 parking spots (I counted them from Google Street View) literally next door. No idea why people are saying there is no parking unless maybe they went when it was completely full? In that case, you do have to search a bit for street parking but I have parked in that lot (to go to Vic's and now Oxyear) for 6 years and have never seen that lot more than half full.”

“It was our best omakase expórtenle we had. The quality and creativity involved in the sushi plates were a great surprise. The chef was very friendly and explained all the different dishes and takes great care and thought on the preparation and offerings. The small and limiting setting gives a very nice and personal experience that was very enjoyable. Would definitely come back again.”

“The food is consistently perfect here. The owner always remembers my husband’s name which I think is so nice. I’m all about customer service and will frequent restaurants who provide a good customer experience. Lately we’ve been getting the grape leaves/falafel plate which also comes with a pita. It’s so flavorful and delicious! In the past, we have got the chicken/rice bowl, which is also so tender and flavorful! We’ve also had their desserts and they are perfect as well! “Thanks to Eddie-V’s for an outstanding experience. It was our 47th wedding anniversary and there was a card at our table which was a surprise to us. Our server, Matthew, brought champagne and a dessert trio. Our busser?, we didn’t get his name was also very good. He took the time to take a few pictures of me and my wife to remember our experience. The food was excellent and the service was one of the best we’ve had in a very long time.”

“Can't comment on atmosphere because I ordered delivery. Yesterday I ordered from your restaurant via GrubHub. I just wanted to apologize here because I'm sure you guys got screwed by the third party. The GrubHub driver delivered my food to an address that was not mine and in order to go get it, I'd had to have trespassed on private school property during summer vacation. This was despite ULTRA specific instructions on my order about how to find my address as I know it can be tricky. If you guys got slapped with a forced refund and redeliver at your own expense due to the negligence of the driver, I'm sorry. Especially since I live right up the road. I'm never using GrubHub to get food from you again and will just come in person. Your food is fantastic. I see people in the reviews complaining about price. As someone who works in professional food service I can tell you, ignore them. They don't understand how expensive things are from a BoH and labor perspective. If they have an issue with it, they can go get an equally priced slop bowl from across the street at that chain restaurant.”

“I stumbled on this place while doing an event at mill no.5 and was so delighted with everything about it! I thought it was a spanish speaking restaurant from a distance, which made me feel confident enough to go in and order, but the workers and customers spoke portuguese haha! despite the two of us having a language barrier, the server made sure I knew what I was ordering and was very patient. the restaurant was cozy and the presentation of the food was so beautiful! I almost ordered the fish but I wanted something new and ordered the chicken gizzard dish. and guys, oh my god, it was AMAZING!!!!!! I do not have words for how good this was lol! Included was also a heaping pile of perfectly cooked rice (which makes all the difference) and a sausage side dish. I ate it slowly through the entirety of the event at mill no. 5 and still have leftovers in my fridge!! such a great deal for the price. Next time I think I'll bring my brazilian in-law and order some dessert lol”

“This is the best authentic halal food I've had. I was shocked at how great this place, but I certainly am not disappointed. The food is so flavorful, you get a massive quantity, and it's very reasonably priced. I now go here all the time, and make sure I always stop here if I am anywhere near Lowell. I always get the chicken and lamb over rice and I always have the biggest smile on my face whenever I eat it. The mix of the cooling white sauce and the spicy red sauce is just incredible. I've known so many people that have gone here and I have never heard a single complaint. Everything about this place is phenomenal and I would recommend to anyone looking for a nice halal rice bowl or gyro.”
