“My husband and I love J&J! We’ve been going faithfully since they opened. They have the best owners, staff, and Chinese/Asian fusion food in the area. Their sushi and drinks are top notch. Most importantly the service is amazing. We got a few trays of food from them too for New Year’s Eve. Not sure if they offer catering all the time but would def suggest not only dining in the restaurant but ordering takeout/catering as well!“

“Go here regularly for lunch. Never had a bad meal. I like the spicy braised beef noodle soup, the sushi is good, excellent hot and sour soup.
If you name a restaurant after food, it better be good. They make excellent dumplings. Soup dumplings are my favorite. I have brought people very knowledgeable about dumplings here and they agree that they are very good. Keep up the good work.“

“Kokeshi is in residency with Bambolina (a wood-fired pizza joint, also delicious) and it's perfect! My husband and I (and our puppy, Dexter) stopped in for lunch on Wednesday and were treated to a wonderful meal with an awesome server and comfortable outdoor seating. I had the Spicy White Kimchi Ramen and my husband had the Margherita pizza. Both were amazing! I highly recommend stopping in when in Salem!“

“I have lived up and down the East Coast, and this is the best Chinese take-out spot I have ever eaten at. Reasonable prices, large portions, and delicious food. The dining room is small, but their kitchen is seriously impressive. The staff is very friendly as well. Much better than May Flower in my opinion, I ate there once and was extremely disappointed.“

“Decided to go here for dinner on a Thursday night and heard some rumors of it going downhill and not as good as it was. Who ever has been downplaying Kowloon is just lying. Food was HOT and FRESH. “We got most of the Thai standards and enjoyed them all. The pad Thai had a good hit of fish sauce but a little sweeter than I like. The interior was kind of meh, but hey, if the food is good, I'm fine with that. What was disappointing is no changing tables in either bathroom.
We don't come to this area often but would be willing to come back.“
