Shout out to Recco who answered all my questions about cinnamon butter lol. He also really explained everything about pop-up bagel and he was super helpful in a very busy chaotic setting. “This place has amazing breakfast sandwiches, I love the onion bagels! They are so soft and toasted perfectly! The hot and cold coffees are really good tooo! I will be coming here a lot! It’s like being in a New York bagel shop right in Allston, I love it!“

“This was my first time and I had a very good experience. From the minute I walked in, I was greeted with a warm smile. This is very important to set the tone for any business.

I ordered a toasted everything bagel with lox spread and veggies. The bagel was fresh and tasty. The tomatoes actually tasted like fresh tomatoes! The fact that this stands out speaks to other businesses that may not use as fresh ingredients.

The lox spread has a nice texture and is subtly flavored. I would recommend that if you want a strong lox taste to also order their smoked salmon.

I also ordered a large iced coffee. The coffee was delicious and the large was gigantic, which made me very happy.

Accessibility: the staff is very attentive and quickly activated their ramp for customers needing special assistance.

The prices are also very good. I will definitely come back.“

“Visited this new branch and and my expectations were met. The bagels were fresh, hot, straight out of the fire. And the scallion cream cheese was absolutely delicious. I also got the brown sugar butter, that came out cold and hard so it was more difficult to eat on the spot. But the everything bagel + scallion cream cheese was a heavenly combo.

The space itself is pretty small, no where to sit just a standing bar. And it's quite loud, with music blasting, and hectic in there. The service is super fast, even with a long line.“

“I have been going to Bagels Best since I was a kid with my grandfather every morning after I slept over. They have had the best bagels by a long shot and I have traveled across the state to get their bagels, breakfast bagel, and smoked salmon which is spectacular! “Hands down one of the best vegan breakfast sandwiches in the city. Solid vegan sausage and super soft chewy onion bagel. Great vegan cream cheese spread and the sauteed onions and crushed peppers were just icing on the cake. I got a cold brew iced with oat milk and sugar. Sweetened perfectly and they give you an awesome 23 oz cup. Perfect little atmosphere inside and the guys at the counter are friendly and personable. Highly recommend to anyone searching for vegan or non vegan food!“

“Classic bagel shop that makes delicious NY-style, boiled bagels and home made cream cheese.
It’s quite expensive. Plus, they charge $2 to slice bagels and will only do so if you call ahead to place your order. They don’t have any vegan/tofutti cream cheese for sale. Expect a line out the door if going in the morning.“

“I recommend this location for their bagels, but NEVER buy a gift card for someone who would use this location. They do not take them. Corporate says that because this is a licensed store, they can choose not to....buyer beware for here and ANY location that is licensed on a college campus, airport or mall. They apologized and have only a handful of locations in the USA that will take a gift card. 😢“

“Great local place for bagels and baked goods. Can’t go wrong with any bagel/cream cheese combination. Good lox and smoked salmon. Sometimes I stop by and get bagels for my coworkers which is always a crowd favorite. Only issue is when you order sandwich sometimes there’s so much onion you can’t taste anything else even after picking it off which is just not my
personal preference. Definitely a must try brookline staple!“

“Excellent experience here. We ordered catering for a medium sized party. Bagels were fresh, and pre cut. And happened to be delicious. Coffee and fruit (also fresh) were also great. There was some construction going on when we were picking up our order, making it somewhat difficult to find the entrance. Someone called us to make sure we could find the place for pickup and directed us exactly where to go and where to park. That was a very nice touch, and much appreciated! We would use them again for sure.“
