“Couldn’t have had a better first experience last Saturday night! Our 7pm reservation was early! We arrived at 6:45pm knowing we were early and we were seated by 6:50pm. Kelly was a phenomenal server; attentive, knowledgeable, offered amazing recommendations, was genuinely kind and personable, and never let a crumb touch the table. The food was incredible! Everything was timed perfectly, giving us ample time to eat and enjoy before the next course arrived. Fresh ingredients, hot entrees, and well seasoned bites - everything from the oysters to the sticky toffee carrot cake was a delight. This was the best restaurant experience my husband and I have had in years. Truly. Two very minor notes: - the restroom was sprinkled with paper towels on the floors. A little extra attention would make a huge difference. -it was LOUD. It was a Saturday night and we were next to a large group, so we didn’t complain. It happens. But wow, it was LOUD. 10/10. Really. We can’t wait to come back and we’ll be asking for Kelly!!“

“I haven’t bn for ages although I know it’s the same owner who knows who’s who, I had great times in there with my father n his friends and many a nights with my friends , The IV is a Brighton treasure never any trouble and great ppl have always worked there . You cannot go wrong anytime of day or night . You won’t get a bad Guinness in there well I nvr did. I miss the Village I’ll have to stop by for a pint! NC 5 Starr“

“Went for lunch, last Friday. I have to say it was awesome. Our Waitress was so friendly, she checked on us a few times to make sure we had, or needed anything. My sister, and I am telling everyone to go over to McGonagle's Pub in Dorchester, and give it a try. We will be back there soon. 💚“

“This is the ideal atmosphere if you are looking for and old Irish bar feel, excellent drinks, music and friendly people. We went on a Sunday and Monday evening and at in the bar area both times as that is what we prefer. We only had to stand around for about 10 minutes on Sunday before a couple had left and we were able to take their seats. The bar tenders went out of their way to help us with our orders as the place was extremely busy. You can’t go wrong by going to The Black Rose! Slainte!“

“Mick Morgan’s is the perfect place if you’re looking to host an event. Lindsay Nichols, the events manager, is very accommodating and the staff is wonderful. The Guinness Room is the perfect size and in the warmer weather you have access to the deck. I ordered the appetizer buffet and the food was great.“

“There’s no better place to hang out for a drink in our Nation’s Capitol than The Dubliner. Before we get to the food and the atmosphere their Whiskey List deserves a special shout out. Divided up by Irish Whiskey style/category the list is like mini lesson in Irish Whiskey history. And do they have a great selection? YES Blended, Single Malt, Single Grain, and Single Pot Still - they have it all, and in a beautifully bound list. The Guinness is a very good pint here - 4/5 - with some grip of the head to the glass as it slides down the glass. “Anthony was our server. He’s normally the bartender but was our server this afternoon. He was fantastic. He was friendly and gave us tons of information. Their clam chowder really was fantastic, completely beats Saltie Girl. (Their spice bag was on point too, and I just came back from Ireland having tried an “official” one there)
Our meal was finished with complementary round of green tea/Peach schnapps/Jamison shots. Delicious!“
