“I was at Bentleys Pub last night Dec 8. My server Debbie was very Friendly and Attentive. She is very nice and saw to my needs. She took my order promptly and made sure that my meal was served hot and as ordered. The Chicken Parmesan was delicious and filling. The people at Bentleys are wonderful and I would recommend them to anyone.“

“Wife and I read the reviews and wanted to try it, surprised we’ve never been here out of all the places we hit in the area. Stopped by on a Sunday at 1:30. Had Grady on his 1st day as a server and we couldn’t have been more pleased with his service! Kiki jumped in with some help as we ate a ton today. Chowder was great as was the calamari. Prime rib, green beans and mashed were fantastic as well. I appreciated the blueberries in my beer and can’t wait to come back! Now I have a spot to take the bike out to this summer and have a tasty bite to eat. Thanks for the great service and solid food experience today!“

“I came here for dinner tonight for Burgers and Beers night. Did not disappoint! While I don’t drink, I did indulge in “making my own burger” which was delicious and filling. My waitress was attentive and pleasant, despite the busy lounge area. (I’m sorry I don’t remember your name!) Would highly recommend to anyone looking for an affordable (because the quality wasn’t cheap!) and tasty meal, stop in! I might make this a weekly after work ritual. Serving alcohol and non alcohol beverages to go with your meal, not to mention the great staff who 99% of the time remembers your name and drink when you have visited them more than once or twice. “With a thankful heart we must say a few words about the recent mercy dinner hosted here to celebrate the wonderful life of our beloved Mom, Paula. Our Halligans family went above and beyond and gave us a little peace during a very difficult time. They created an intimate, personal atmosphere with comforting, delicious food and drink. Their professionalism, care, and thoughtfulness allowed us to spend time with our loved ones reminiscing about the good times we all shared with Mom, without having to worry about a thing. “I haven’t been here in several years, but I stopped in last week with my 87-year-old mom who recently had extensive oral surgery. I was trying to figure out which menu items would be easy for her to enjoy. Our server was so kind and compassionate and helpful. Once we made a decision, she went right into the kitchen and discussed the situation with the cook so he was aware how soft the food needed to be for my mom. My mom’s meal came out perfect and our lunch was far more than I could have expected! Thank you Judith and the cook, we will be back this week.“

“My husband and I just had our wedding at J. Anthony's. For such a large and lovely space, they could not be more reasonably priced and easy to work with. The high ceilings and that wall of windows are really a wow factor. They are currently making updates to the event space, so I can only imagine that future events will be even more fabulous. Any time I interacted with staff leading up to the event, they were so upbeat and enthusiastic. Being pleasant is obviously a part of working in the restaurant industry, but everyone always felt genuinely excited for us, which made us even more excited as the big day drew near.

We live nearby, so we already knew that they had wonderful food. We got compliments from guests on all of it, but the most talked-about items were the beef and the stuffed shells. So many people told me they regretted not requesting more stuffed shells. They really were amazing; I could have eaten an entire plate of them! A dessert was included in our package -- we chose apple crisp and it was delicious. But we also brought in apple cider donuts from a local orchard. Abbey (the event manager) was super accommodating. We just dropped them off in the morning and then arrangements of donuts on beautiful gold chargers were placed at each table during the evening.

One other point of note was how lovely the event staff was! My husband and I had multiple guests comment to us throughout the evening about the wonderful service staff. I can't imagine that is something typically noticed or commented upon at a large event, so it just highlights how personable and accommodating they all were. I was able to chat with some of the servers toward the end of the evening and they were all so kind and complimentary, it made my night even more special.“
