“This is a gem for many reasons but the view is the most special thing about it. Layer in the fact that the food is delicious as are the drinks, and it makes for a very special place. It’s a great option for gluten free and dairy free restrictions, but you definitely need to like seafood or you won’t be able to eat much. (It is a raw bar after all…) It does have sushi bowls and kids options. The cocktails are incredible, some served over crushed ice which I love and feels like a treat. Great spot for a date or family outing (including the dog) with lots of options for seating. It can get crowded st the height of summer. We usually try to get there right when it opens or an hour or two before close to get a good table. There’s also a really nice indoor seating area with rec room vibes.

“Cash only. There is an ATM at the General Store across the street.

It looks like all beans are roast right here, and this is a super simple place with just coffee, muffins, and one or two other fresh-baked items.

The owner was gracious enough to let me use the bathroom (a rare commodity around here, and it wasn’t hard to flush which, with my fragile EDS hands, some are these days).

“Everything was great from friendly staff to fast, high quality food. Bolognese was very good, as was the whipped burrata appetizer. Very pleased and will come again. Sat at a table, but large bar with tvs looked nice a nice time too.”

“SoBol is just what Duxbury needs! The ingredients are extremely fresh, each item is made to order with special attention to allergies & preferences, and the environment is welcoming and polished. The owner, Dawn, is beyond accommodating & kind, and the employees are super attentive. I would highly recommend SoBol to anyone visiting town, and Duxbury residents should make this a daily stop.

Dietary restrictions: They take special care of those with any and all restrictions. I’ve even seen them remake a bowl because a customer forgot to mention an allergy while ordering. Superb customer service.

Kid-friendliness: Kids are most definitely welcome and are regulars, too!”

“I was in yesterday, missed you Sue! I was too late for the Turkey Quinoa meatloaf, got the shepherds pie and it was delicious. Also picked up the Roasted Vegetable Soup which is always delicious and trying the Turkey Chili for the first time, I’m sure it will be great as every meal I’ve had from Depot Street Market has been!”

“Went to the Oysterman in Scituate. The most amazing meal from start to finish. We had oysters, ceasar salad, pork chops,swordfish. It was amazing. The staff was even better. Never missed a beat !!! “Absolutely amazing staff. We ordered lunch from here today and we asked for my sandwich with burnt like burnt burnt bacon. (Pregnancy at its finest) And you guys 110% nailed it and made me the perfect sandwich. I haven’t had any other restaurant even come close to actually cooking the bacon how I like it. I just wanted to say thank you! ❤️”

“Walked in and was craving a fried chicken bowl. There wasn't any so I asked if they had anymore coming. She kindly made me one, and was real quick about it. Been going to Bongis on Saturday lately as a nice treat. Staff of very friendly and helpful. Great prices and even better food!”

“I placed an order for delivery from Duxbury Pizza and the DoorDash driver stole the order. Duxbury pizza handled this situation almost immediately. I called to tell them we never got the order and the manager promptly remade our food. I was very impressed with their handling of a situation that wasn’t their fault. The food was great. I loved the baklava.”

“An absolute delight, tucked away in the quaint Depot Street Market of Duxbury. This Chinese restaurant does it right. Friendly service, great food, and solid Mai Tai's. Its quality of food and drink blows the competition out of the water. I'll have to disagree with other reviews stating that this food lacks taste/quality. I've never been disappointed with it one bit. A great stop for takeout or dine-in experience. Thanks for staying in town so long!”

“This locally owned artisan espresso bar has divine espresso drinks, my Cafe Machiatto was divine and Venetian/Milan/Florence/Rome comparable. As good as the rave reviews that brought me in. Luckily, I’ll be moving to town soon so I can put it on my running path or just drop over to sit with my wife and dogs. The bathroom was sparkling clean too.”
