“Went to the Oysterman in Scituate. The most amazing meal from start to finish. We had oysters, ceasar salad, pork chops,swordfish. It was amazing. The staff was even better. Never missed a beat !!! Thank you for an amazing night. Everything was above and beyond anyone's expectations. Drinks were beautifully decorated with flowers too. Don't miss out. Try this new hot spot with amazing decor, Food and staff”

“SoBol is just what Duxbury needs! The ingredients are extremely fresh, each item is made to order with special attention to allergies & preferences, and the environment is welcoming and polished. The owner, Dawn, is beyond accommodating & kind, and the employees are super attentive. I would highly recommend SoBol to anyone visiting town, and Duxbury residents should make this a daily stop.

Dietary restrictions: They take special care of those with any and all restrictions. I’ve even seen them remake a bowl because a customer forgot to mention an allergy while ordering. Superb customer service.

Kid-friendliness: Kids are most definitely welcome and are regulars, too!”

“A great place to stop for a cup of coffee, pick up freshly roasted beans, or a muffin right out of the oven. Prices are very reasonable (cash only), and if you have any questions the owners are very friendly. For grabbing a bag of coffee beans, they have some unique offerings, and they can grind it for you if you like.

It’s a down to earth and approachable coffee shop and roaster that focuses on quality. Hard to beat.”

Something surprising: The size of this place - could easily accommodate many hundred people during the summer.

Overall . The view and atmosphere were phenomenal, the beers were good, and the food was respectable but it didn't blow us away. Definitely a fun place to bring family and friends in the warmer months.

“I was in yesterday, missed you Sue! I was too late for the Turkey Quinoa meatloaf, got the shepherds pie and it was delicious. Also picked up the Roasted Vegetable Soup which is always delicious and trying the Turkey Chili for the first time, I’m sure it will be great as every meal I’ve had from Depot Street Market has been!”

“This family-owned business, originally started by the Bongiorno family (shortened to 'Bongi's' back then—a true reflection of the times, especially given our vibrant Italian-American community now!), has been a pillar of comfort for my family for decades.

My connection to Bongi's is deeply personal: when my mom and dad passed away suddenly, a thoughtful friend sent us their complete turkey dinners on both difficult occasions. That act of kindness, delivered via Bongi's, is something we will never forget. To this day, we regularly rely on them for quality meals ourselves and for sending sustenance to others who are grieving or in need.

I was recently amazed by the sheer variety of their frozen pot pies (both turkey and chicken!). They offer every combination imaginable: white meat, mixed meat, with or without veggies. I was inspired to stock up and try a few! You can also count on them for high-quality sides, especially the gravy.

The food is consistently exceptional, and the staff is wonderful. Bongi's is an absolute must-visit local landmark.”

“Absolutely amazing staff. We ordered lunch from here today and we asked for my sandwich with burnt like burnt burnt bacon. (Pregnancy at its finest) And you guys 110% nailed it and made me the perfect sandwich. I haven’t had any other restaurant even come close to actually cooking the bacon how I like it. “The 1st time I went to Namaste Cafe I got the Açaí Bowl & have yet found one that can beat Namaste’s ! At this point I think I am a Açaí Bowl Connoisseur & have not been slightly impressed with the Others ! Namaste has the perfect blend & all the toppings are the best! I can’t say enough about the granola, fresh thick peanut butter & the açaí !!! Highly recommend & it’s worth the Drive too! Also the service is Wonderful & Friendly ! Enjoy ✌️”

“An absolute delight, tucked away in the quaint Depot Street Market of Duxbury. This Chinese restaurant does it right. Friendly service, great food, and solid Mai Tai's. Its quality of food and drink blows the competition out of the water. I'll have to disagree with other reviews stating that this food lacks taste/quality. I've never been disappointed with it one bit. A great stop for takeout or dine-in experience. Thanks for staying in town so long!”

“This locally owned artisan espresso bar has divine espresso drinks, my Cafe Machiatto was divine and Venetian/Milan/Florence/Rome comparable. As good as the rave reviews that brought me in. Luckily, I’ll be moving to town soon so I can put it on my running path or just drop over to sit with my wife and dogs. The bathroom was sparkling clean too.”
