“We had an incredible experience working with Lisa of Delicious Desserts! From our first phone call I knew we had to work with her no matter how the cake tasted (turned out to be delicious!). She was so friendly and interested in our wedding planning. She was also very accommodating when at the last minute we were unable to attend our initial cake tasting appt. Her home kitchen is perfectly decorated and she spent time with us showing pictures of previous cakes she has made and gave great recommendations. When deciding on cake flavors and tiers, we loved Lisa’s idea of having each slice be both chocolate and yellow cake. The raspberry cream filling and buttercream frosting were so good and even one guest asked if Lisa made our cake because she recognized the taste of the raspberry cream. Lisa and our florist coordinated to add beautiful flowers for the finishing touch on the cake. On the day of our wedding, we got to see Lisa again while we were taking formal photos and she was sweet enough to show us a picture of our cake on her phone since we couldn’t yet go into the reception space. I had no idea they were so health conscious, even with the beautiful sweets that they offer.They also offer a few gluten free brands that I’ve come to love since becoming gluten free. (Cappellos is absolutely delicious, always recommend!)“
“They should offer a six star rating option for exceptional cases like Pies a La Mode. I was visiting Falmouth for a week and went back to this shop 3 times!! Everything is incredible from the pies (savoury and sweet options), to the cookies, to the customer service. My personal favourites are the Turkey Gobbler, Key Lime pie, Pumpkin pie, and chocolate chip and OMG cookies.I can’t say enough positive things about the owner who I had the pleasure of meeting the second and third time back. I have never met a more caring and sweet person. She truly cares about her product and the customer. If you happen to meet her on your visit, you will know what I mean.“
“Hands down the BEST cupcakes I have ever had. Every time I visit the Cape, I have to make a trip to the Mashpee commons for my fix! So moist, so decedent, so delicious! My favorite is the “Hostess with the Mostess.” If anyone says they don’t like these cupcakes, they’re lying!“
“We stayed in E. Falmouth and ventured out for breakfast before provisioning our rental. We enjoyed it so much we went back again although we were fully stocked up! Great homemade breads, Portuguese meats, vegetarian options, cozy atmosphere, quick and friendly service. DELICIOUS FOOD. Cash only.Vegetarian options: It's a breakfast/lunch cafe. Lots of options to exclude meat. They offer a veggie omelet and a veggie, plus omelet. I had the plus omelet twice and would happily order it again. “I didn't get a chance to take a picture of the Salt Brown Butte cookie because I devoured it within a couple of minutes...Overall, a great balance of salt, sweet and butter. The cookie was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Extremely delicious and I wish I had bought more.“
