“I have been hooked on Richie's Italian Ice. 10oz..with these great flavors cherry, watermelon, strawberry, lemon lime, raspberry, orange cream, root beer. Sour apple.. Etc. I found them at Raynham Market Basket 4 for $5. Only trouble the flavor are limited. So I run to other all market basket stores around to find different flavors.. the Product is Super hit this season and I bet it will go fast this summer.. “Had a really nice experience here. I purchased the strawberry and Oreo shaved snow. Both were excellent.

My party also had a few children with us who weren’t the easiest to tame. At one point, a kid dropped all of our water cups. They offered to come and replace all of them. Even though we declined, the thought was very nice. Additionally, a kid dropped some of the dessert on the floor. They were very kind and treated us well.

I definitely intend to give this place more business. Great establishment and great food.“

“love visiting the Jamaica Plain store! Since the weather has been getting warmer, I've gone a few times this month and have to say the staff is amazing. They are very warm, friendly, patient, and have great insight on all the flavors and products. Because of them I found my favorite Fomu flavor. It was Rose Lavender but I was introduced to Lemon Meringue, tart lemon ice cream (coconut base), with graham cracker crust and yummy vegan marshmallow! It was so tasty I went back a second (and third) time to buy a point. Don't miss this flavor and the wonderful staff (surprisingly calm and chill even under pandemic pressure). Can't wait to see what next month's flavors are!“

Service is always friendly and they are always busy doing something, and how can anyone be upset when you walk in and smell freshly baking cookies? The only downfall is that some cookies do sell out fast, so get there early if you have your eye on something popular.“

“Phenomenal waffles here! My dad and I got The Naughty Boy and not only did they come out warm, but they were chocolatey and the fruit was fresh too. The walnuts were a nice touch. It’s a simple but brilliant setup with waffles and toppings! I miss when these folks were at High Street Place. Located at one of the ends of Quincy Market, this place shouldn’t be overlooked!“

“The mochi ice cream was good and the flavors were nice, but it was around 7.50 per small kiddie cup. The price definitely wasn’t insanity, but I feel like maybe you could get better mochi ice cream elsewhere in the area. It was still really solid though and I would go back.“

“This is my second time here and boyyyyy did they not disappoint!!!!! I always get the chocolate chip cookies 🍪. They are very warm, soft and lovely😏.

Yeah....I most definitely will be coming back again for a 3rd 😁time. Chip City is in a great location, very spacious and clean.

“Pretty good - albeit limited range of desserts and some drinks. Worth one try for sure if you like coconut
We have a few different desserts and all were a decent std - although the mango itself (pictured) did not taste that great - the coconut base was good.“

“Terrific small Chinese dessert shop serving up classic Taiwanese styles shaved ice with coconut milk, beans and root based toppings. Boba teas and other options also available. They take credit cards (Visa, MC, AMEX) but need a $10 minimum.“

“Wow! I’m not usually a big fan of cannoli (they’re usually stale and bland tasting), but the pistachio cannoli I got here was INCREDIBLE! Made fresh, creamy and just the right amount of sweet, crunchy pastry around it, perfectly encrusted with pistachio. I loved it!“

“After watching a movie at the nearby AMC, I came here with the cool autumn breeze. The storefront was under renovation, but it was still open. The decor suggested a rather old-fashioned ice cream shop.

Taro: A bit of a surprise. For an American/Italian ice cream shop, the most highly rated flavor online was taro, but after one bite, I felt it truly deserved its reputation. The ice cream was smooth and delicate, with a naturally rich taro flavor, and not too sweet.

Matcha: A very standard matcha flavor from an American ice cream shop. Not too sweet, the matcha flavor was pure, but nothing particularly special. A safe choice for Chinese palates.

Coconut Thai Tea: First time trying this, and quite an interesting flavor. The sweetness of coconut milk is the top note, followed by the bitter aroma of Thai milk tea.

Bourbon Maple Pecan: The initial taste was the sweetness of maple syrup, followed by the nutty and slightly salty aroma of pecans. It's quite good, but a little on the sweet side.“

“Mango Mango seems to be popping up everywhere lately! Mango is definitely the star of the show here, and they didn't disappoint. We ordered the Coconut Mango Smoothie-o and the Handcrafted Lime Green Tea, both were perfectly balanced, not overly sweet, and super refreshing. The interior is fun and lively, making it a great spot to hang out. It's definitely worth checking out at least once. We’ll be back!“

“Got a box of 12 macarons and they were so good, every single one. Fresh, delicate, perfectly airy with a nice little crackle when you bite in. The lavender was beautifully floral (not soapy at all, which lavender desserts can sometimes be), and the Madagascar vanilla was rich and fragrant, you can tell it's made with real ingredients. Also tried their new seasonal flavor and it was such a fun surprise, honestly worth ordering just for that. You can tell these are handcrafted with care. Total taste of Paris in Cambridge. Will definitely be back for more!“

“Popular VN bubble tea place at Adams St and Park in Dorchester (Boston). With a good variety of VN speciaty sweet drinks and smoothies, pancakes and other side dishes. Clean, bright with some tables for dining in. Prices start at $6 USD for a small drink to $9, $10+ for large size. They have reward points for all their shops in the franchise.“

“I really enjoyed my dessert here. I think it makes more sense to go with a group and share, because the items are large and $$.. Everything I saw was a fair price for the size. I had a taro ice bowl. I didn't love the shave ice first try, but i froze it and ate it later and it held up. I thought it could have been a bit sweeter, but im also american and I know I probably like things sweeter than most. Service wasn't super fast, but not crazy slow.“

“Insomnia Cookies is my go-to spot whenever I’m craving something sweet late at night. The cookies are usually warm, soft in the middle, and super satisfying — especially the classics like Chocolate Chunk and Snickerdoodle. When they’re fresh out of the oven, they really hit the spot.

That said, the experience can be a little inconsistent. During busy hours, wait times get long, and delivery can sometimes show up colder than expected. Prices are on the higher side as well, especially if you’re ordering multiple items or adding ice cream.

Overall, though, it’s a fun late-night treat with a great variety of flavors, and the convenience is hard to beat. When they’re warm and fresh, they’re absolutely worth it.“
