“Very nice, medium size neighborhood drinking establishment. They have a kitchen, but not a daily menu. When food is served it's over the top delicious. So if somethings listed on their chalk board be sure to place an order. There's also a larger room available for function rentals. Place is super clean and the staff is friendly. Especially Victor, the owner....ask him to see the parrots. He has a pair of beautiful birds that are often in the background somewhere. They're friendly, but let Vic do all the introductions.“

“We just had the most amazing pastry from Sweet Rose—made with zucchini, of all things! I’ve never had zucchini taste this good (sorry, Mom!). Light, flavorful, and perfectly balanced—not too sweet, just right. Huge compliments to the bakers for turning a humble veggie into something so delicious. This was easily one of the best breakfasts we’ve had in a long time. Highly recommend this bakery. We’ll definitely be back soon!“

“We go here a few times a year. We ordered donuts today for my son's birthday. We did it through door dash. I wrote a little note asking for specific donuts that he would like. They gave us what we wanted, plus one extra, plus a little note. It's the little things in life that mean a lot to me. So i take appreciate that. It means we will keep going back. “First time try…. played it safe, and got my ice caramel latte, although they had so many specialty coffee’s that I was tempted to try. Owner and or employee recognized we were new faces and asked if it was our first time. When I said yes he handed me a free large sample of their “OG” which was very good, and I would def go back for or try another specialty! Customer service experiences like this are always huge for me and also if your a plant person and love coffee this is the place for you!“

“We just came by boat with two little kids not realizing the new fall hours. The employee working saw them peaking into the window and was so kind bringing them each out doughboy donuts. It was such a generous and thoughtful gesture that truly made these two little kids day! We look forward to coming again in the spring (during hours your open)“

got the sweet bread egg sandwich, linguica pop egg sandwich and taro smoothie.

both sandwiches were nice and soft and warm.

the taro smoothie was wicked good (order it without added sugar, the taro is sweet enough)

“Upon walking in, there are a few seated tables to the left and a few high tops to the right. All the tables are fairly spacious. Self seating and order at the counter. They have a good variety of baked goods. Everything looked really fresh tasty. They have drink specials (lattes). We ordered D'S Country Breakfast (comes with sausage, bacon, toast and home fries), egg and cheese on English, blueberry pancakes (very fluffy and plenty of blueberries), and Sunny Toast (with avocado and there's vegemite spread on the toast). They also have cold pressed juice made to order. We got the Healthy Heart (carrot, apple, ginger). Great spot where all the locals go and for people that are visiting the area.“

“I visited the Portsmouth location for the second time this morning and this is a perfect first date spot imo. The large wraparound deck is so cute & cozy, like a farmhouse porch. & the coffee 🤩 I had a tiramisu latte last time, a cherry Garcia latte this time- I was not disappointed either time, the flavors were accurate without being overwhelming or weakening the espresso, & oh so delicious. The food is even better; the attention to detail & balance of flavor in the dishes is off the charts. I recommend the avocado toast or whipped feta plate, and if you’re not into coffee, their teas and lemonades are just as amazing.“

“Oh I loved the atmophere. Clean, cozy, comfortable... good food. But my passion for cats, anomals said i have to see this place.. so surprised how any one could complain about anything..people were also there in a room for a book club. What a great idea. So i voluntered. No pay, just want to be with the kittys... loved the serenity of the place. Now i can love all the cats I want.. stop by,, a nice surprise... maybe see you there. The counter where the food is ordered is a bit further back to the right. Hard to see, but stop by.. nice change, too.“
