“My spouse and I have been coming to Yama for over 20 years, and we have always enjoyed meals together, with family and with friends. The meals are well prepared and attractively plated. Service is personable and excellent even when they are busy. [As an observation more than criticism, Asian restaurants in general have had to struggle obtaining and affording top quality rice of all sorts, from Japanese-grown short grain to premium Indian basmati. Unfortunately, it seems Yama is no exception — the rice is good and acceptable, but not exceptional.] Lunch bento boxes and sashimi/sushi specials are excellent and good value.“

“I love Takara in Medfield. The staff is wonderful. I eat here almost every week. Even during COVID, my family did take out weekly. This is my go-to restaurant. My wife takes me there as a reward!! The food is wonderful and well prepared. I think that I have tried almost everything on the menu over the years. My favorite meal is the spicy tuna avocado salad! The rest of my family enjoys the sushi, sashimi, and various maki rolls which I always help them finish. Korean inspired food is a nice twist on typical sushi. Great place with great service. “Took a friend there to eat for their birthday we got there and Monday and Tuesdays are only for takeout we talked to the staff and they were very accommodating they said sure come in sit and enjoy the food. It was fast, it was delicious well prepared if you haven't been there then you should give it a try reasonably priced as well“

“Now that Oga's is closed, Nori Sushi is our favorite sushi in the area. The presentation is beautiful and everything is fresh and tastes amazing. The torched yellowtail special (middle row with the tiny lime slices) was especially outstanding. The truffle toro roll (not pictured) is also amazing. I hope they do well and stay around-it’s an unexpected location at the mall.“

“We love going in to visit with , Ming , the bartender on Tuesday nights . Because of his exceptional service we have gone a few other nights . All the bartenders are super friendly and fun ! The bar is full of friendly locals looking to talk and have a good time . We can’t say enough about this place .“
