“Gluten Free Chocolate Chip cookies! That's the one thing my wife wants me to let you know. We were fortunate to stop here while traveling through. We got a few coffees, crescents (not GF) and cookies. After we drove away my wife started raving about how amazing the GF Chocolate Chip cookies were. She told me several times they were the best she ever had and wished that we had gotten more. I had a bite (even though I love gluten in my cookies) and I have to admit they were great. Thanks for a great treat! My wife's only regret is that we were traveling (11 hours away) and we won't be in the area again to get some more. If you stop by, be sure to eat a GF cookie for her!“

I prefer vegetarian dishes and was excited that they had so many options, in addition to many options for chicken and lamb dishes. Everything was freshly made and brought to the table hot. I hope they stay in business because I would like to go back and try everything on the menu. The decor is nothing special, but you hardly notice while drinking a hot, savory cup of masala and pepper tea. Perfect for the throat in winter.“

Parking: It’s in a big plaza and it has a big parking lot.

“Located within a gas station, all the girls working behind the counter were very friendly and offered great suggestions about what coffee flavors and combinations they can make. We ended up going with 2 medium regular iced coffees, one with a Cinnamon Bun flavor and the other Irish Creme I think. “I took my daughter here for breakfast today and What a delicious meal! Everything was cooked perfectly, well seasoned with very generous portions. I’ll list our orders below: - Periwinkle special: Two eggs (any style), choice of 3 meats, home Fries or baked beans, choice of toast & 1 pancake or one slice of French toast I got my eggs over easy, grilled English muffin, home fries, a pancake, double bacon and grilled Portuguese chourico. Everything was very tasty! Loved how crispy/crunchy both the English muffin and bacon were. But the standouts were definitely the chourico and the home fries. Both were fantastic.. great flavor and the home fries are cooked with caramelized onions (which I love!) -Smoked Salmon Benedict :English muffin topped with two poached eggs, smoked salmon & hollandaise sauce (comes with home fries, beans or fresh fruit on the side) . My daughter said this was amazingly delicious! Perfectly poached eggs, creamy buttery hollandaise, grilled English muffins, salmon was tender with a nice Smokey flavor.. paired beautifully with the rest of the dish. The decor is nautical themed.. there are a bunch of little tables and a long bench (with pillows) along the front wall. Cute, clean and cozy.. little hand written signs throughout, with one listing their muffins of the day. (I believe todays offerings were corn, blueberry and chocolate chip). Waitress was super friendly and attentive. I have to make a special mention of the prices.. it is such a good deal! Everything we got (including coffee) it all only came to 25 dollars total (that’s with tax too!).. given the portion sizes and quality of food, that’s an insane bargain. I can’t recommend this place enough. I’m already looking forward to my next visit!“

“Love the options here!! The staff are literal angels on Earth, and you would be hard pressed to find poor quality food here. I love their smoothies, coffees, energy balls, meals, and brownies. Anything they make is great, and the prices are hard to beat for the quality.

Also, the breakfast burrito is huge. Definitely recommend!

They are usually very quick, too! Only takes ~5 minutes for me to order, pay, get my smoothie and other treats, and leave. They are so quick!! And if that's not quick enough, you can order in advance, and they will have things ready for you.

You know it's also a great spot when a lot of the people at my school know about the place, and like it, too. Several of them know staff members by name, it really says a lot, right?

Definitely worth a visit, I love this place so much!!

Vegetarian options: They have a lot of veggie options, and everything is highly customizable. Just make a request, and the staff will most likely be able to do it!

Dietary restrictions: All of the food is clearly labeled, food is customizable. They are especially good about common allergens like gluten, peanuts, and diary.

Parking: There is no designated parking lot for A Sweet Affair. HOWEVER, you should be able to find parking on the side of the street most of the time! There are also nearby gas stations that you may opt to park at, both of which are a short walk from A Sweet Affair.

Kid-friendliness: A Sweet Affair is not tailored to children, but I would consider it to be child friendly for a few reasons!

•Child friendly menu options. They have a good variety of things here, from the healthy to the more indulgent. They have oatmeal, ice cream, cookies, fruity and decadent smoothies. Not only that, their menu options are highly customizable, so if your child doesn't like a particular ingredient, it is very easy to swap it out!

•Decor is vibrant and colorful! There is a lot to admire or look at in there for a kid. Bookshelves, fruit decor, tables with knickknacks. It isn't too overstimulating, either. Very comfortable place.

•Staff members are inviting, friendly, and easy to talk to! They usually have a lot of nice things to say and can probably entertain a child or communicate with a child clearly. They also have good recommendations.

Wheelchair accessibility: This place is fairly accessible!

There is no level difference in the outside to the inside, it is completely flat. There are no steps to worry about. The door might not be especially wide, but I think it's wide enough to fit a wheelchair.

The area is broad, and there are no tight areas to squeeze into in A Sweet Affair! Everything is very easy to reach. Should be comfortable enough to navigate.

There is no automatic door opening button, but the staff members will come and help if they see any struggling.

Staff members can make accommodations if asked, and they will communicate clearly.“

“Outside eating area needs attention. Overgrown weeds and in general not a pleasing area to sit to enjoy a meal. Waited for over 1 hr for food to come to table and when it did arrive was less than appealing. Lettuce on burger was wilted, burger was over cooked, and lacked flavor. The only part of the meal that was good was the chicken egg rolls. Sadly disappointed.“

Also, all the food is good here *except* the home fries. I love good home fries but here they are distinctly the weak sister. Worth the cash to upgrade your side OR see if they’ll sub the waffle fries for free maybe? I don’t know just avoid the home fries and you’ll be solid. I feel bad talking about the one less great item on the menu here so they actually have amazingly sourced breakfast meats and eggs etc. kids menu is super expansive and has great choices. The pickle bloody is the best. Take someone you love here. Then grab a treat/toy for their dog, some Italian treats, and a hunk of meat for dinner in the same shopping center.“

“Excellent dinner choice. We had a rib eye, a salmon, a haddock, and a scallop dinner. Everything was excellent, cannot wait to go back. 2 people in our party had birthdays, and and we're given $10 gift cards they could use toward dessert or use at a later date. Highly recommend!“
