Best place for lunch or dinner! You get your food at the takeout counter and go sit across the street and look at the beautiful New England views and then go back for a large bowl of mint icecream!!! Will be back.
Excellent food and they have years of experience doing takeout. Give them a try you won't be disappointed.

The Cupboard of Gloucester is a lovely little place that has been around for over 100 years. The food is great, cooked fresh to order, with delicious fried clams and the best barbecue chicken around. The fried food is hand-battered and of the best quality, and the homemade barbecue sauce is made 3-4 times a day. The fries are never crinkled or soggy, and the onion rings are far from bland and to die for. The service is pretty quick, and the ice cream is also okay. Located right next to the beach and picnic area, it's a great casual meal spot.
