“If you’re anywhere in the area, this little unassuming cafe is an absolute must.To start, Laura—who it seems typically opens in the morning—had my order memorized like I was a years-long regular after just a single visit. I waltzed in just after opening (7:05), hoping not to be “that guy” that walks in super early while she’s trying to do her side work. She assured me that all was good, and that I was more than welcome. She virtually started making my breakfast before I even ordered. Wow.Next, the food. The FOOD. The COFFEE. I'm very sensitive to gluten cross- contamination, and it was reassuring to me that the staff person was knowledgeable and asked me if I had a gluten allergy and needed separate preparation for my order. They also are taking COVID precautions seriously. They are requiring proof of vaccination in order to dine in (this is clearly posted inside and outside of restaurant), and while at my table I overheard a staff person asking an unmasked person to put on a mask. This is my favorite place to use my dining dollars and it is open late. It's fairly quiet at night and is good for studying. If you live near there they have Grab n Go in the morning, too.“
