“We stopped in yesterday on our way to an event we had set-up and needed to eat on the go… I don’t always write reviews, but this place had the absolute best breakfast I’ve ever had. I’m a huge pancake lover and I’ve had them just about everywhere but nothing compares to blueberry pancakes that were here! Unbelievably good! My husband ordered a veggie breakfast bowl and he also raved about how good it was. The food didn’t feel overly greasy and make you regret it after eating. It was good quality, good cooking. Ice coffee was also the best, could you tell me what brand? We don’t live close by but we’ll definitely be back. Also, staff was super nice! Than you so much!“

“We ate lunch at Himalaya Curry House for the first time this afternoon. We highly recommend. The food was phenomenal-excellent Northern Indian cuisine. (I don’t like Southern Indian cuisine. The prices are very reasonable. The portions are very generous and we both went home with enough left over for another entire meal. I had the Chicken Tikka Masala, basmati rice spiced with Cumin. My daughter had the Black Pepper chicken, same rice and we shared a side of Aloo Gobi cauliflower florets in a spicy, creamy sauce. There was complimentary chutneys (3 different flavors served with pita crackers. My patient’s family is from Northern India and the mom cooks exquisite Indian food. Fed me home made dinner every work night. That is how I was introduced to spectacular Northern Indian food , so I have a good palate for high quality. The atmosphere is average. Our waitress was very friendly and helpful assisting us with our choices. We will definitely go back again to try different entrees. The menu is extensive!“

The birria tacos were perfect - tortillas were dipped, fried to an amazing crunch with gooey cheese that had crisped up where it melted out the edges, and nice savory consomme to dip in.

The star was the 8 piece friend chicken meal - easily the best fried chicken I've had in New England. The shell was perfect! The chicken, juicy and flavorful. We picked out two large (gigantic!) sides and it included fluffy cornbread/cake. Our family of 4 feasted like royalty, and we have quite the cache of delicious leftovers for the week to come!

The lemonade was clearly homemade and wonderfully balanced. It came in what were essentially gigantic capri-sun pouches. Our girls loved them (and were unable to spill them!).

The quality and fresh, skillful preparation are the stars, but ALSO a phenomenal value at an amazing price.“

“There are a lot of wonderful things to say about Buckley’s Cafe, but this is a recommendation and plug for their heat and eat meals. We’ve been picking up a couple most every week for those nights when we can’t face cooking, but don’t want to go out. Our favorite is the Chicken Parmesan - the chicken is moist and tender, and the breading and sauce are well seasoned. We also enjoy the short rib ravioli, tenderloin tips, and lasagna. We’ve also grabbed a sandwich and salad for those times we want to eat light.“

“My family has been here twice and each visit we felt like regulars. When you walk in it seems like everyone says hello from the staff to other folks dining. Each visit they've gotten the same meal Oreo Pancakes for the kids, a cheese omelette for the wife with a pancake on the side and I've gotten an omelette special. The kids preferred the Oreos crumbled on top as they were this visit vs mixed in. Everything is always delicious and consistent, keep up the good work! “We were looking for meatball subs, and New London most definitely delivered. I went with the small size grinder, and without seeing the large side-by-side, I could not have told you what size I received. Half of my sub made for a good leftover lunch the next day. Other members of our party had a chicken gyro, and a salad with tuna. The combination of Greek and Italian items on the menu allowed for substantial choices for everyone. My only quibble was that I did not find ice water available to have with my meal. All the beverage choices seemed to be bottled from a self-service refrigerator case, and single use bottled water is something I will go out of my way to avoid. New London was a pleasant place to eat - they have ample seating to the side of the counter where customers place their orders.“

It looked like they were extremely crunchy and not burnt mozzarella sticks were awesome. My daughter was able to stretch the mozzarella stick across the whole entire table. She was having fun playing with the mozzarella sticks lol overall great service enjoyed the atmosphere and house hospitality the husband and wife was extremely polite and very helpful. They notice that we need needed something and asked if we needed anything before we asked, which is good because it shows that they care about their customer enough to acknowledge that the customer may need something I needed straws and napkins, and they were already starting to get it before I asked“

We stopped in for a nightcap last night and really enjoyed Alex, Shauna, and Heather - great service and banter as always! For food here, I tend to like bar favorites such as burgers or nachos, but their chicken parm is always pretty tasty. The Mediterranean chicken salad is great for a healthier option. Live music 3 nights a week is also enjoyable, with some really good talent stopping by there. Thanks again to the hardworking staff for making Bailey's what it is!“

“The gluten-free chicken piccata was perfect. Lemony tangy saucy., perfectly crisp crust enveloping a tender and juicy breast. This has to be the best chicken piccata. I have had since giving up wheat three years ago. My son had the margarita pizza and tomato basil soup. The crust was well cooked, but he found the sauce to be just average, and the cheese to be lackluster. The tomato basil soup was good, thick and creamy but not worth writing home. Our waitress, Alison, was a sweetheart and very helpful. So chicken piccata, small pizza and a small cup of soup was $50 before tip. The music was a strange mix ranging from 80s hits, country music, modern forgettable pop, not really adding anything - very much a family friendly vibe. The restaurant was only half full so we could easily have a conversation. We were on the highway was still an hour and a half hour trip and it took it considerably longer to get the food then while we were expecting. If you’re in the area and looking for a variety of good free options this is a great place. But maybe don’t come here if you’re in a hurry.“

“Best pizza around, for real. Rated Atmosphere but I’ve only gotten to go and don’t really know. Only complaint is the hours; closing at 7pm during the week and at 6pm on Sundays has certainly missed out on our business a few times because they were closed.“
