“As a visitor, this is exactly the type of diner experience I was hoping for. It's small-ish but has a very comfortable and cozy atmosphere. Our waitress, Erin, was the absolute best! She had great recommendations for us, and we even chatted about her recent visit to TX (where I'm from). The hash is simply delicious. Highly recommend it. I know I'll never be able to recreate the dish, but I'm going to give it a try.“
“This Market and Cafe is a popular spot for breakfast, picking up fresh prepared meals, items from their bakery or their meat counter. We have visited on several occasions and have always enjoyed our visits. My husband likes their coffee, breakfast sandwich's, beer selection and meat counter. I like their smoothies and prepared salad. My daughter likes there bakery counter, especially their croissants. It can be very busy on the weekend. The staff is always friendly. There are only a couple indoor seats and several outdoor seats. The only negative is they are expensive. If you are looking for something special it is worth it.“

“Stopped with my husband for a quick bite to eat and watched some Bruins on the screen. We split the chicken bomb with pepper jack, it was fantastic, pepper jack gave it a nice kick, and the bread was soft, we had out heated. We also had a side Greek salad. Overall service was great, quick and food was tasty! Restaurant was clean decorated nicely for Christmas and very roomy.“

“Gibbet Hill is by far my favorite restaurant. The crab dip appetizer is loaded with crab, I think the salads are picked out back on the day they are served, and the steaks are second to none. The atmosphere is so friendly, cozy, and just the right amount of upscale. Even if you don't eat, sit at the bar and try their signature cocktails. Last but no least the Pot de Creme desert is not to be missed. The only problem is they have ruined me for all other steak restaurants as I always find myself comparing it to Gibbet Hill Grill steak.“

“I don't give anyone 5 stars but this place was that good. The food was fresh and made while we waited, no microwave here. The bartender knew what she was doing and made fabulous drinks. The service was impeccable and the music in the background was so good you want to sing along which one of the waitresses would occasionally do. Fantastic experience, great food and drinks. Sorry we waited so long to try it.“

“My wife and I love this place! If you are looking for a small, cozy, town restaurant, look no further than Hollis Country Kitchen. We've tried the breakfast and dinner menus, and both are equally great. Inside seating is limited, and in the morning, there can be a wait, but during the warmer months, you can sit outside in their garden area. Not their fault at all, but service can be a little bit slower due to staffing issues. I don't bring this up as a reason not to go though, just to forewarn that this place isn't necessarily somewhere to go for a "quick meal." If you have the time and want a great meal, this is the place to go!Parking: Due to their location, parking can be tough to find on busy days. I think there's an additional parking lot in the back, but not positive of that. Parking in front only has about 10-15 spots, though, so you may need to be patient on busier days like Sunday mornings.“
