“Nice neighborhood place along 53 in Hanover. Visited on a busy Saturday night. Stuck mostly to drinks and appetizers. Calamari and chicken tenders were better than expected. Buffalo chicken flatbread good as well. Definitely worth checking out.“

“My fiancé and I moved to Weymouth a few months ago and one of the first places we went to eat was Johnny Kono's. At first, we were thrown off by how few tables there were, but once we settled in and the food started coming, it has become one of our favorite places to eat. The El Chapo wings are some of the best we've ever had, great spice and flavor with a some acidity to tie it all together. The burgers are incredible, even the Louis lunch burger, which although very simple, always is delicious. They really live up to their claim of being a "Five Star Dive Bar." We're excited to keep coming back and trying more menu items.“

“I tried the Venus Cafe for the first time today for takeout. I ordered a green pepper onion and mushroom pizza. I got there early and got it as soon as he popped it into the box, so there was no time for it to steam in the box. I usually have my dog with me, so that's why I get take-out a lot. A little bit of flop at the beginning due to it being piping hot and loaded with toppings. Tasted great, and the price was good. This place is one of the goats of this style of pizza, ssbp. The only complaint is that they use sliced toppings, not chopped. And that's just a personal preference due to years of thinking I took a clean bite of pizza, and then a chunk of blistering topping comes with it and tags me on the chin. Lol. I went to the takeout side and dealt directly with the cook, and he was very nice. I have no clue about the bar area, but friendly kitchen staff speaks volumes for a place. I'm slowly trying all the places that do this style of pizza in the area, and this one did not disappoint.“

“Love this restaurant. The wings are excellent and the Hippy Dippy salad is a go to for a delicious fresh salad! The bar serves fabulous, creative drinks. The couches in front of the fire make the perfect spot to catch up with friends and enjoy a drink. The owners are lovely and the service, fantastic.“

We have ate a lot of pho in our day and this spot ranks in the top 10 pho spots we have eaten at. 10/10 recommend getting the Nguyen special pho and the oxtail pho. “We finally returned to The Snug since before COVID restrictions. We loved the Irish music and oldies bands. We arrived before the music this evening and were lucky to be seated immediately. It is usually crowded and noisy. Our server was personable and got our drinks and food quickly. The Snug is, as the name suggests, a snug Irish pub filled with Irish memorabilia. The Smithwicks had a plump foamy head and is lighter than Guinness. My SO's sangria had a hint of peach schnapps flavor. The Greek salad was more than enough for two. The fried haddock sandwich was so big I thought it was the fish dinner. The fish was flaky with a crunchy exterior and the roll was soft and delicious. I had it served with vegetables; the carrots and green beans were tasty but the broccoli was cold. The appetizing chicken salad sandwich was a bit different; shredded chicken and craisins were on a hot dog bun and the mayo was on the side. We will return to The Snug soon to enjoy the music, food and drinks.“

“Ordered dinner tonight for 5 South Main. First the woman who took my order was so pleasant! We ordered the bolognese and the meatloaf. It was outstanding. Just like a home cooked meal. The meatloaf had a fig glaze on it. I thought it might be too sweet but it wasn't. The mashed potatoes and green beans were cooked perfectly! The bolognese had a flavorful sauce not acidic and plenty of meat in the sauce. Would definitely order this again. Absolutely delicious!“

“The Sports Emporium right on Rte. 3A in Weymouth is a super cozy watering hole that serves top notch food and daily specials. The service is exceptionally skilled, friendly and always on point. The interior is very clean and they always have sports playing on their 8 perfectly placed TVs. The live music is always talented bands that are super fun and keep you coming back for more. Today I had the Mushroom Chicken with white wine garlic cream sauce served over linguine. It was fantastic! This is not just a bar to have a cold beer but also a destination spot to fill your belly! Do yourself a favor and stop in!“

“My husband and I love this place. It’s been hard to find good food around here so we look forward to our dinners here! We would be fools if we didn’t order the buffalo chicken tenders so we don’t leave without ordering those. I have been ordering the same meal for a while and it’s delicious every single time. I order the buffalo chicken tenders, mashed potatoes and a salad. It’s the perfect combination and is so satisfying! I’m hoping it will become a menu item soon so I can just ask for “The Jessie” ??. Service is always excellent and the drinks are on point, not too strong or not strong enough, just perfect. Instead of rye bread , I had their corn bread- it was absolutely delicious, ( mine you I hate corn bread) The coffee was delicious, my eggs over easy made to perfection , challah French toast - again the best I ever eaten. Ambiance - a wonder place to visit with friend and family. It was like being at home. A safe place for children and old age like . Great family atmosphere. Parking was available in front of the restaurant. I highly recommend the Stars On Hingham Harbor. A must stop if you are ever in Hull Massachusetts. “I haven’t been there in over 20 years. Stopped in for lunch. Had the best Clam Chowder ever. The fish Tacos were awesome! The onion rings were freshly made and delicious. “We went to dinner here on a Tuesday night and they were packed which was a great first sign (they must be good if they are that busy on a Tuesday). They still sat us right away. It's one of those nice community joints where everybody is nice.Also, at the bar next door, a patron stated that Lynch's has a steak dinner special on Monday nights.
