“Menu is small but well thought out and everything is good. Service is exceptional and the vibe there is great and they make the best of a small space by filling it with plants and great lighting. Cocktails are on the expensive side but they’re pretty tasty. Been there twice so far and will definitely be back in the future.“
“I LOVE the quarters with my whole heart and soul but PLEASEEEEE turn down the music during karaoke. It is too loud! We love the rousing performances but also would love to have a conversation while waiting to sing our hearts out. Big fans of quarters karaoke just trying to protect our long term hearing!“
“This is a quirky place. Very limited menu. There are only 6 dinner choices plus an additional couple specials. It wasn't easy to find something for everyone but the food we chose was excellent. We had fried chicken and biscuit and the dumplings for apps. Both were very good. I ended up with the braised short ribs with a fried potato cake. It was really delicious. The potato was outstanding!! My husband had crab cakes and roasted potatoes, which he enjoyed. The wait staff were great. Super friendly and they were all dressed cute with space buns in their hair. They definitely enhanced the experience. I wouldn't rush back just because there aren't enough choices but the food is quality and what we had we really enjoyed.“
“I LOVE El Comalito!! They have a huge menu, so there is definitely something for everyone. They even have chicken fingers and fries for people who might not like El Salvadoran food. It's so cute and colorful inside, with plenty of seating and a full bar. I always get pupusas when I come because they make them fresh, and I love the spicy pickled cabbage it comes with. The pupusas take about 20 minutes to make, but even then everything came out pretty quickly. The margaritas are so good and come in so many flavors! I got the passion fruit this time but I've also had the pineapple and hibiscus in the past. They recently added sopes to their menu so I had to try them. I got the veggie version which was absolutely loaded up! Mushrooms, peppers, onions, broccoli, lettuce, cheese. My only tiny complaint is that I wish the broccoli was cut into smaller pieces so it is easier to get a bite with a little of everything. I would definitely come back and I highly recommend checking this place out!“
“I love Angelica (the bartender). She makes the place vibe. The drinks are great. The regulars that come in make you feel comfortable. I'm glad they have karaoke as well. The reason for the 4 star rating... Its changed alittle. It use to be a biker bar. They don't want that label anymore. Also the cameras everywhere make you feel at unease. Don't get me wrong cameras are great but not every step you take on the property. You guys rock HOT-L!!!!!!“
“So effing rad. Jess, Taylor, Brian, Kat, Harriet & Dos hold it down. I love coming in for a tasty snack and brilliant conversation. Plus, the drinks are amazing. This is a special spot, thanks to those that work it. Food’s great and oyster selection is plentiful. The whole operation is wicked fresh.“
“I came with a friend for the first time to their January drag show. It was a lot of fun! Love the decor and general vibe, a very accepting place.A sliding scale cover charge (starting at $5) was reasonable and I found the drink prices similar to other Northampton bars. I got a drink called the Love Potion (pictured) and it was delicious! Bartenders were very attentive and I didn't want more than a minute to place a drink order. Some of the other drinks they had on the menu seemed super fun - edible glitter, pop rocks, cotton candy! Can't wait to go back and try some more!“
“Came here when I was in town for a friends wedding and had such a fun night! $1 deli style pickles (delicious) and SPICY pickle back shots (delicious). Absolute dive bar but in the best way. Service was good. Only downside was that it was cash only. Would absolutely come back here next time I'm in town.“
“I highly recommend Fitzwilly’s Restaurant. The staff is exceptional, providing excellent service. The value for money is outstanding, and the dishes, particularly the onion soup and the fish, are absolutely delicious. We will definitely return there next time!“
“A true farm to table dining experience in the Pioneer Valley! My wife and I have been going the Blue Heron for years and always have a great time. The service and food is consistently excellent with ingredients from local farmers. Blue Heron offers an upscale dining experience and is very close to Mount Sugarloaf, Tree House Brewing Company, Yankee Candle and more! I highly recommend the Ricotta & Honey small plate and Curried Vegetable Tian although there isn't anything on their menu I wouldn't try. The Chocolate Truffle Torte with espresso ice cream is a great way to finish a perfect meal!Vegetarian options: Vegetarian options never tasted so good. I am not sure if it is available all the time but the Curried Vegetable Tian is fantastic!Dietary restrictions: While they offer a wide range of choices, many are gluten-free and vegetarian or vegan-friendly.“
“Had a great night on a date with my beautiful girlfriend. We were quickly sat at a table by the window and caught a beautiful view of the sunset. Our waitress was friendly and did a ok job. The smoked wings are really darn good. Have plenty of leftovers to enjoy tomorrow for lunch.Dietary restrictions: My lady is highly allergic to gluten and she was perfectly fine after dinner“
“I just went here to watch pvp wrestling so I don't know bout food but it one heck of a time drinks are cheap and service is good only one suggestion is the ac unit needs to get fixed cause it was hotter than a habanero last time I was “
“The wine pairing dinner was great. The food and wine was just what we were looking for. The seating arrangement was no good. I went with a party of 4, and our purpose was to catch up with each other. We were unaware and did not like the one large table with all parties sitting next to each other. We are unable to have conversations with each other.“
“What an incredible hole-in-the-wall pub. I was at a conference at UMass and was recommended to visit here for an eclectic selection of beers from around the world. So glad I took their suggestion! Soooo many delicious choices, from light to boozy. If you're daring, join the Mug Club.Parking: Small number of spots adjacent to the building“
“Truly the pinnacle of a neighborhood bar. The atmosphere is relaxed and accepting to anyone, there's peanuts to snack on, the bartenders are always friendly, and they have a great assortment of drinks. It's the best casual, come-as-you-are vibe in the valley. In the summer time they have outdoor seating. Inside they have a jukebox, or some sports on during the day. It's cash only -so make sure you've got some money on hand. If you're in the area this is by far the best bar you'll find - don't sleep on it“
“Hadn't been here for years, but stopped in late on a Saturday afternoon after a horrible experience at a nearby restaurant. We sat at the bar and had excellent service (Matt) and a great choice of food. We were all 3 happy with our meals and looking forward to going back.“
“We arrived at 5:50pm. We did not have a reservation but were lucky to get the high top table option, which was only reserved for 7:30pm. Our party of 4 had a fantastic time. We ordered several smaller plates to share: whipped ricotta, meatballs, Caesar salad, roasted beets. All top notch and each delivered by a different friendly and professional staff member. We also shared the Rigatoni and Duck Breast. SO DELICIOUS.This was the first time going but will not be our last. Definitely 100% recommend this place. Hardworking people who are producing quality food with a friendly atmosphere.“
“Nice decor. Too many eateries are cold and bland, however the atmosphere here is on theme without being tacky. The food is great. Sure, your boomer uncle who exaggerates that week he spent in Nola will claim he’s had better Cajun/Creole but for the area it’s probably the best (and only?) option. The staff and overall service is prompt and cordial without doing that over the top, 1980s, obnoxiously bubbly stewardess act.Only suggestion: Love the marching band/big band jams but that region’s musicality runs deep. Expand that roster. The crab cakes Benedict is the best eggs benny around.“
“Been awhile since I've been there, but we had a nice meal. One of us had the fish and chips, which they were kind enough to substitute rice instead of the chips and I had the stuffed shrimp which was excellent. I highly recommend if you like seafood.“
