“Been awhile since I've been there, but we had a nice meal. One of us had the fish and chips, which they were kind enough to substitute rice instead of the chips and I had the stuffed shrimp which was excellent. I highly recommend if you like seafood.“

Service was fast, food came out quick, service was perfectly attentive but not bothersome. This is my choice of restaurants when I go to Northampton. Love it. Great ambiance and a relaxing chill place after the pilgrimage to Vt to experience the full eclipse. Even had a yummy ginger margarita to celebrate! “Highly recommend Captain Jacks in Easthampton, MA. Lobster roll is enormous, not smothered in mayo or other heavy sauces. Very tender. Fried claims/colhogs are lightly fried, no sand, great portion. I keep going back because no one can beat them.“

“This is a bar in fact, an Irish bar. The music was a bit loud, but that's to be expected in bar often. We were there for dinner.A large pretzel with 2 different kinds of dip was very good. As was the sweet potato fries. We also had a salad which was tasty and I had tomato bisque soup which was very good.“

“I’ve been here twice now and I have enjoyed it each time! I got blackened fish tacos which were to die for, they did them so well. It was hard not to get them when I went the second time, but I got the salmon instead and was not disappointed. It was cooked perfectly. Broccoli was steamed quickly I think and then also browned off, but still had a bit of crisp to them. Also got the Brussels sprout appetizer and we devoured them, they were amazing! I have not gotten so excited for a vegetable before. The service is always friendly. I will surely be coming here again and again.“

“This place has been a family favorite since I was a kid. My tastes have changed a lot since then, but there's something on the menu for everyone here. I used to be a picky eater (cheese pizza) and now I'm having a hard time deciding what to eat because it's ALL GREAT! The white goat pizza is a go-to for me and my sister when we're dining together.
