“Delicious menu items.. the pear salad is delicious and a fabulous starter to share. I had the swordfish over the lobster succotash and it was fantastic.. the succotash alone would be a delight! Highly recommend and we can’t wait to go back. We ended with the flourless chocolate cake and it was perfect“

“I’m from the NJ/NY area but have lived in MA for a few years. Other than 1 other place. I can’t find any good pizza.Recently I’ve gone to Comella’s’ a few times on my lunch break. They sell Sicilian pizza by the slice and it’s really good. The place has a cool look , has a bar area and everyone there is always very friendly. I recently tried their regular pizza, not Sicilian. And it was amazingly good. It’s probably the best pizza I’ve had in this area in over eight years. I will definitely be ordering that again.

“The hubby wanted to take me to lunch for my upcoming birthday..for our age and for our wallet we always go to lunch vs dinner...we are now already home with the pups in our jammies..so great...now as a self proclaimed foodie, I have wanted to try the food at Alma Nove at the Hingham Shipyard for many years...I am also a huge Wahlbergers show fan...adored their mom Alma on the show and her pal Phyllis...the show is so much fun..binge it if you haven't seen it..anyway...the weather today didn't look too spectacular for a waterfront restaurant but the blue skies showed themselves as we were eating inside...such a terrific location..the shipyard has been revitalized in the last 15 years or so...lots of shopping and dining destinations including the original Wahlbergers Burger Joint...I love this stuff...Dave is like ok whatever...but our experience was lovely..I will say however that my husband and I don't quite fit in the Hingham vibe...and it has a vibe..no shade but it kind of carries an air about it...the people I mean...lol...but we ignored all that and for sure enjoyed lunch..even Dave said how delicious it all was...our server...nice..we typically enjoy banter with our servers...he wasn't about that...all business and he gave us excellent service..but I do have the sense that more than likely the staff has high hopes of gaining maybe a walk on role on Blood Bloods with Donnie or maybe a handshake from Marky Mark when he comes through from time to time...hope for them it happens..fingers crossed...😉..about the food...great bread..seemed homemade but simple..fresh..served with butter that had black specks on it..turns out it was a black salt..interesting..a few drafts for Dave from Mayflower Brewery in nearby Plymouth and I had a lovely Pinot Noir...bottled water on the table..big fan of that..I ordered the Pan Seared Shrimp and Scallops served over a sweet potato risotto , topped with haricot verts(fancy greenbeans), toasted marcona almonds and truffle honey and my date had the Butternut squash Tortellacci with pan seared chicken topped with sage brown butter sauce, pecorino romano, apple cider gastrique and fried sage and chives..wow..we are styling here in the Shipyard...every bite was spot on and a perfect serving for lunch..we enjoyed all of it..dessert..well.of course..they have an in house pastry chef so that's a given for me..chose the Banana Bourbon Bread Pudding..when he returned he also brought a small chocolate dessert..like cake in a jar with whipped cream and a candle...he said they heard someone was celebrating a bday...we never said it so all I can figure is I posted that we were there for my bday and had tagged the restaurant...great social media connection if that was the case...we shared them and they were fabulous...took some photos around the place..ran into folks the hubby knew from Hull..absolutely highly recommend Alma Nove..those that aren't familiar with the background. ..The famous Wahlberg Brothers Donnie and Mark have a brother Paul who is the chef and owner of Alma Nove..named for their precious mom Alma and Nove in Italian means nine..there were 9 Walhberg kids..5 stars from me for Alma Nove.. Open daily for lunch and dinner. .I believe they have live music on Sundays and in the nice weather their outside patio overlooks Hingham Bay...a must try❤️ Mark has famously said their brother Paul is the most talented in the family...I believe that is spot on...“

And the service..WOW you do not get service this great at many places truly! Even on very busy holidays or Mothers Day and Father's Day the servers and the Chef don't skip a beat! We are always well taken care of and everything on the menu is fantastic. I love the Chicken Piccata which I get with mixed veggies instead of pasta sometimes both are delish. Swordfish, chicken or veal parm, chicken Bellino, ravioli Rimini, all so good! for starters caesar salad and caprese. Bread for the table with amazing oil for dunking. “This has to be the South Shore's best kept secret! My wife and I were looking to grab a quick meal the other day and stopped by Cannoli's on Whitman's Pond. I've been to the restaurant several time for various functions, but never for dinner. Vinny was wonderful - just the right attention - no hovering, but there when we needed anything. My wife had the chicken piccata and I had chicken marsala. Both were incredible! Plus, it's affordable - around $65 for the two of us (including two glasses of wine!) This will definitely become one of our go to places!“

We were served and it had to ask for the check and take out containers. Our waitress was an angel from god. She brought the takeout containers and the check and also a bottle of cold water, an empty bag and extra napkins in case he was sick on our way home. We didn’t even get a chance to eat our food. “A little taste of Italy! Everything was on point 100% from the drinks to the dessert. Espresso martini was the best EVER, the bolognese was the BEST EVER! The chocolate lava cake and gelato was by far the best I’ve ever had! Service, staff atmosphere was all amazing! Can’t wait to go back!“

We started with the stuffed peppers and mussels, both of which were flavorful and perfectly prepared. For our main courses, I had the Chicken Marsala, while my friend opted for the veal chop—both dishes were absolutely delicious. We finished off the meal with their cheesecake for dessert, which was the perfect sweet ending.

“Decided to try Evviva in Hanover! Well I was very surprised. Got seated by a hostess with a smiling face. The waitress Hannah was full of suggestions with great service. We ordered pizza and short ribs. The pizza was like I was in the North End of Boston. Short ribs were extremely moist and tender. The best I’ve had in a long time. The manager Dave came to the table to make sure our food was as we expected. Hanna checked on us as well. The portions were good actually more than we can eat. The desserts were fresh and delicious. I can’t say enough about Evviva in Hanover, Ma and plan on dining at Evviva more often.“

“They lost a customer!! We ordered take out 2 weeks ago on Friday night, Caesar salad with chicken, chicken Alfredo, and chicken broccoli Alfredo. We picked up the food within 30 minutes, the time we were quoted when picking up and live about 10 minutes away, let just say it was one of the worst take out meals we have had. Immediately after we started eating I called and spoke to the manager, the salad was watery and croutons were mushy, the chicken Alfredo was cold, the Parmesan wasn't melted! The food tasted like it a day old and microwaved! The manager took all my info and stated she would call me back after dinner service, never heard from her. Saturday I called back after not hearing, the same manager answered apologizing it was late when she finished dinner service but the owner was out of town and would call me back during the week, ok no problem. Late Monday I get a voicemail from the owners wife, working in customer service I was appalled by the voicemail. She stated that croutons do get soggy if you don't eat the salad right away and to order the dressing on the side next time. And that Alfredo just separates if you don't eat right away, suggesting I don't let it sit to room temperature before serving. I immediately called her back and explained I picked up the order and called within 40 minutes of placing the order, she stated that wasn't explained to me. She continued to tell me, speaking to someone in the background I have never heard this many complaints before. She proceeded to ask me what I wanted her to do about it, she stated she needed to talk to her husband because they don't just refund someone because they complain... I proceeded to tell her I had pictures if she was interested. I texted her the pictures and she told me she had to speak to her husband and would call me back... over a week later no call back...“

“Excellent service and delicious food. They were super accommodating allergies and the gluten free ricotta and gluten free cheese focaccia were delicious. They were unfortunately out of pizza but I’ll just have to try it next time! It’s nice to have another allergy friendly restaurant in Quincy.

“Wow is all I can say but I will definitely fill you all in a bit more. So we made reservations for 6:30 and we were a little late. I know places that would not be happy about that and would give you a hard time and we weren't all together but they still sat us no problem at all. My family and I all order my wife the surf and turf and she loved everything about it my sister in law did a Chicken dish my daughter did Chicken Ziti and Broccoli her boyfriend did the Chicken special dish. I order a Prime Rib medium when it came to the table it was definitely not medium but it was late in the day so I didn't say anything and went along eating I took a few bites and said to my wife that mine wasn't the best but I said nothing to Jenn our waitress. She came over and said you asked for Medium and that is definitely not Medium. I said it was really okay no big deal. She was so super nice and said no no not at all she asked to take it and asked if If she could get me something else. Unfortunately I had a taste for that Prime Rib so nothing was going to work they took the Rib off and coveree desert. I put 5 Stars for the meal because everyone loved what they all got. Honestly the rib wasn't horrible it just was over cooked for me but the service made up for that one steak the service from Jenn and the Manager made that steak taste 10 Times better and the personality and interaction was just way over the top amazing. We live on the North Shore and went here because my daughters Boyfriend lives on the South Shore. I tell you this for sure we will be back again and it definitely helps that we had Jenn for our waitress. I probably wouldn't be able to pick her out of a crowd but her personality and care of me and my family will be something we won't forget for a long while. “I had a salad, and my daughter had a burger and fries. I feel like you can't really mess up a salad, but you can mess up fries. That's what happened to my daughter's meal.

We ordered for pickup and when it was time to eat. My toddler struggled to eat the fries, they were so overcooked and hard for her to chew.

“Wicked Good Food! It’s the first time ordering from here. I’m always skeptical of 1st tries because I’m VERY picky about pizza. I got a small veggie pizza and it was awesome! Their sauce is good and they’re super generous with the toppings and cheese! Also tried the buffalo tenders, omg…wicked good! They’re not all dripping with buffalo sauce, they’re the exact right amount of buffalo-ey, but in a dry way, and with perfect crunchiness! We ordered take out from here yesterday and the staff was extremely helpful and accommodating. We had placed a previous order with another restaurant for catering and they notified us less than 2 hours before our food was supposed to be ready that they would not be able to fulfill our order. We called about 8 different places with no luck and then called Mamma Mia's. The staff was able to shift some things around and fit our order for several takeout trays in without any issues at all. The food was even ready early dispite the limited preptime they were given. We ordered the chicken broccoli ziti and the baked ziti and both were outstanding. The homemade meatballs in the baked ziti are some of the best I've ever had. Portion sizes were excellent and the prices were incredibly reasonable (especially for the quality of the food)

Mamma Mia's is our new favorite and will be our go to from now on.
