I appreciated the service too when that the restaurant immediately delivered a small cup of that yogurt sauce I cannot spell … when I asked for more. I’d ordered a wrap and would have loved more raw onion, lettuce and tomato and will make sure to ask for this next time (as there will definitely be a next time !). “I Came across this place while driving through this cute town. As soon as I’m entered, I was greeted by three different women. One was a customer at the bar. One came with children as well, and they came to greet me. Then, a third, approached me, and welcomed me. To me, that set the stage for such a friendly and inviting restaurant. It seems to have regular customers, and everybody knows each other and greet each other with news of their own families. The waitress was prompt to sit me in a comfortable table and asked me if I would like something to drink. I asked her questions about how the food is cooked and she was very candid with me. I really appreciate that. I ordered the pasta fagioli. It was very tasty and the fresh celery elevated it for me. The small shells were a little overcooked, and that was the only flaw of my meal. I ordered the spaghetti carbonara with sausage, and that is what’s pictured below. The sauce was delicious. The macaroni was done to perfection. Al dente. The small coins of sausage were sliced for easy eating. If I am up this way again, I would definitely stop here for some very good unassuming Italian food.“

I would like to recognize Donnie the bartender who assisted me with info about Wahlburger owned restaurant and was very professional. Unfortunately I could not make a Tuesday Night dinner event Donnie made me aware of but the friendliness was on point. I heard of this restaurant watching Wahlburgers and wanted to see what the restaurant was about. Met expectations. Hopefully I could meet Paul next time I'm in town. “Exceptional Italian cuisine- always something new and fresh. We've been here several times and will continue to go back. Every meal we have had is perfectly executed and delicious. Wait staff is super knowledgable and friendly. Owner and Executive Chef always checks in to make sure the experience is great (which it always is). Cocktails and wine list is great too! “We were absolutely blown away by this establishment. The ambience, the service, the caliber of the food, we're all top-notch. We will absolutely be back. We live in Hingham but we didn't realize this place existed. It is honestly incredible. The food is very inventive and Versatile. White table cloths / fine dining, beautiful cathedral ceilings, great music. Friendly staff. Perfect lighting. Great for date night or family outing, can be casual or elevated. Whatever you prefer. We had the pork bun, the meatballs, and the swordfish and South and chicken. All were perfectly executed.“

“We had a really wonderful time at Alba on 53. Our server Irina was truly so lovely. The restaurant is huge and bustling with a cool atmosphere and high ceilings so noise has a place to travel. Cocktails were great with nice pour. And our meal was delicious. The Mac and cheese side was some of the best we have had- it is not the typical Mac and cheese style which we loved. Light and flavorful cheese sauce that was not heavy or thick. Ribeye was cooked and seasoned properly and was a nice cut with good taste. The short rib gnocchi were awesome and definitely a comfort food vibe. Even the asparagus was cooked perfectly. For dessert we had the chocolate cake and it is definitely a show stopper. Chocolatey and fudgey and a great way to end our meal here. Highly recommend.“

“A cute little Italian restaurant in Hull. I saw another review that mentioned that they had "crazy expensive prices". Yes, the prices are a little high but the portions are ridiculously huge and you get a very nice salad and fresh rolls with your entire. Honestly you could probably split a lot of their entrees. “I had lunch there a few days ago. I ordered the bolognese lasagna fritters and chicken Marsala, and both dishes were absolutely delicious. I had Kaila as a server and she was AMAZING. “We've been on the South Shore for 20 years now and have lived within 2 miles of this restaurant for the last 5 and we've never eaten here before. Not sure why. I think it's just not top of mind since you don't see it easily from the street. Anyway, I was able to get us a reservation last minute on Friday night, so we were excited about that. It's a very cozy, quaint authentic feeling space. Lots of attentive staff members. Food coming from every which direction. The meatballs were just OK - a little dense for my liking. The bread (focaccia) was really good and they gladly brought over more to go with our meals. The shrimp scampi was excellent. Just big enough of a portion. Our son had the chicken parm, which he enjoyed. The mousse cakes (chocolate, and peanut butter - all made by Royal Pastry) were excellent, and the cannoli, while a little runny, was still flavorful. Glad we tried this place out - we will definitely be back.“
“This has to be the South Shore's best kept secret! My wife and I were looking to grab a quick meal the other day and stopped by Cannoli's on Whitman's Pond. I've been to the restaurant several time for various functions, but never for dinner. Vinny was wonderful - just the right attention - no hovering, but there when we needed anything. My wife had the chicken piccata and I had chicken marsala. Both were incredible! Plus, it's affordable - around $65 for the two of us (including two glasses of wine!) This will definitely become one of our go to places!“
“Ordered dinner tonight for 5 South Main. First the woman who took my order was so pleasant! We ordered the bolognese and the meatloaf. It was outstanding. Just like a home cooked meal. The meatloaf had a fig glaze on it. I thought it might be too sweet but it wasn't. The mashed potatoes and green beans were cooked perfectly! The bolognese had a flavorful sauce not acidic and plenty of meat in the sauce. Would definitely order this again. Absolutely delicious!“
