“My friend and I went here for the first time last night. I got the chicken francese but instead of the veg risotto I asked for the creamy risotto and it did not disappoint! Probably the best creamy risotto I’ve ever had. The chicken was cooked as expected and the lemon caper sauce was very tasty. My friend got the chicken Marsala with angel hair and said it was very good. For dessert, I got a pistachio martini and the pistachio ricotta cake. My friend got the lemon cake. My martini was tasty but just ok. I did ask for the dirty ice on the side but never got it and I suspect it might be because I didn’t get a full drink served to me. It was only filled 3/4 of the way. For a 14 dollar drink, please fill my glass. Neither cake was good. My pistachio cake had no flavor as there was no hint of pistachio or any ricotta. My friend said her lemon cake tasted odd, nothing like lemon. So overall, food was very good, atmosphere was nice especially if you sit in the upper level to view the water and planes but I would definitely skip dessert next time. I’ll definitely be back for that Risotto though!!! Oh and the staff were very very nice and also very attentive!!! My only critique, we had like 3 different waitresses rotating to take orders, check in, clean up and it was a bit confusing. At the end we were confused on exactly who we were tipping.
Parking: 6:00 on a Wednesday and got a spot almost right out front. All street parking is within a reasonable walking distance to the front door.“

“Stopped by today for the first time because I was craving pasta and I was really impressed by how nice they were! I had a very lovely conversation with the guy running the place and he was very friendly and even threw in some free garlic bread! Customer service done right in Boston!!!!
The food was pretty good and the portions are pretty decent. I tried the cajun chicken and shrimp alfredo pasta and my friend had mushroom ravioli and we absolutely loved both.
If you work in Brigham or go to Harvard Med I highly recommend stopping by.
Again, it is mostly the outstanding friendliness and customer service for me, the pasta is great too!“

“I was really looking forward to dinner here after finally snagging a reservation, but perhaps I came in with too high of expectations or ordered poorly. The quality of the food was certainly excellent, but none of the dishes truly amazed me where I would crave to go back. Sharing notes so hopefully someone else will order better than we did:
Pizza Bianca with ricotta & hot honey - loved that it came out super hot, but unless you love ricotta I would try a different dip
Mortadella & house pickles - great quality but wouldn't eat alone; best paired with some pizza bianca (and ask for it to come out with the pizza bianca...otherwise you might have to wait for it like we did)
Trevisano salad - my favorite bite because the red wine vinaigrette does help cut through all the other rich dishes
Cappelletti - more al dente than I expected, and it was hard to appreciate on its on because it was too salty
Tagliolini - also more al dente than I expected and kind of bland, though the flavors actually came out better when I ate the leftovers at room temp
Bergamot Blush cocktail - really well balanced, my husband enjoyed this a lot“

“Very good pizza, especially the pepperoni one, we were very well served by Gigi, very friendly and attentive.
The only thing that bothered us a little was the hostess, a bald guy with glasses, who welcomed us at the entrance to the restaurant, seemed uncomfortable with our presence, constantly looking at our table suspiciously. We were dressed the same as everyone else and our behavior was the same as everyone else there, so I really don't know what the reason was.
Other than that, great service and good food.“

“Well visited italian restaurant on the Harrison corner . On a busy Friday night we were seated outside with an interesting view of the eclectic crowd. Our server was prompt and busy but quite capable. We started with the arancini and corn which was tasty. The salt cod croquettes were more like fish and chips. The focaccia with the eggplant dip was flavorful. I came for the lobster paccheri but that was disappointing. The pasta was too al dente and difficult to eat. There was hardly any sauce and it was very under seasoned. There was plenty of lobster which was slightly undercooked like the pasta. The crab tagliolini had a nice lemon flavor on the other hand.“

“Our favorite local Italian spot! Pastas and desserts are outstanding.
Dietary restrictions: They handle dietary restrictions very well! I have a tree nut allergy and was easily able to navigate the menu with little limitation. They do not have GF pasta FYI.“

“What a great restaurant. We were in the area with our daugther showing around,as a couple out of town visitors, there was a Bruin's game and all restaurants were packed with long waiting list. The chef/owner Richard received us at front , and was able to get us a "conditional" table, as the restaurant was fully booked. The service was great!!. After settling in, our drink order was taken. The waiter , Dayana, was wonderful. We ordered Arancinis, a bit on the small size side, compared to the ones I have had in Italy, but the flavor was spot on, and the pomodoro sauce amazing. Richard came by our table to make sure we were satisfied. Everything we ate was wonderful. The Chicken Piccata was to die for, and while I am not a fan of meatballs, the Famous Stuffed Meatballs were simply amazing!!!....this place is absolutely a gem. Richard care for authentic italian flavor, paired with A+ hospitality make this place a must visit.“

“I ordered the lobster ravioli and it was so good! The ravioli was decently packed with lobster and tossed in a delicious cheesey Alfredo like sauce with small bits of tomatoes. It tasted fresh and was pretty darn filling. The price isn’t bad either. There is limited seating so keep that in mind. My friend ordered one of the salads with mushroom and added chicken to it. I tried a bite and it was amazing. The sauce was so good. The amount of chicken she received was so worth the add on and it was so flavorful as well. I ordered garlic bread for an appetizer and it was good as well. Nothing fancy but good. Definitely worth the $34 for the meal.“

“I recently dined at Prima Italian Steakhouse, and it was an absolutely incredible experience! From the moment we walked in, the warm ambiance and rustic Italian decor set the perfect tone. The staff was friendly and attentive, making us feel like part of the family.
As for the food – wow! The ribs were perfectly cooked, tender, and flavorful, with a nice Italian twist that made it unique. We also tried the handmade pasta and some classic Italian sides, and each dish was bursting with authentic flavors. The wine selection was extensive and featured many excellent Italian options that paired beautifully with the meal.“

“I don’t have a single complaint with the food or our server, Oscar. Everything we ordered was delicious. I was a deep dish pizza skeptic until the Alice Pizza arrived. I’m a convert. We started with suppli, Caesar salad, followed by entrees of scallops, carbonara, thin crust mushroom pizza and rigatoni. Dessert was rice pudding and olive oil cake. Thank you Josephine’s!“

“We spent several days in Boston going to several different Italian places and this one was, by far, my favorite. The food was fresh, hot, and absolutely delicious. The pasta is maybe the best thing I have ever tasted in my life and I am longing to go back to Boston just to order more!!! Highly recommend. Our waiter, Ron, was efficient, polite, helpful, and had a really pleasant demeanor. He was patient with our toddler, we didn't feel rushed, and it was just a great experience.“

“Sorellina in Back Bay is a must-visit for anyone seeking an exceptional dining experience. The atmosphere is classy and inviting, making it the perfect backdrop for a memorable meal. The attention to detail from the wait staff is impressive; they ensure every need is met without being intrusive.
The food is where Sorellina truly shines. Each dish is flavor-packed and thoughtfully prepared, transporting diners to a happy place with every bite. I regret not asking more about the chef, as the culinary artistry deserves recognition. The warmth and comfort of the dishes reflect a deep understanding of flavors, making each course a delightful journey.
Whether you're celebrating a special occasion or simply looking for a remarkable meal, Sorellina delivers on all fronts. Don’t miss the chance to indulge in this culinary gem.“

“Gigi’s had everything we were looking for in a cozy dinner date spot! The atmosphere struck the perfect balance between intimate and lively, with soft lighting and chic decor that made us feel at home the moment we walked in. Whoever handled their interiors really nailed it—modern, comfortable, and full of character.
For dinner, we tried the Chicken Parm and Rigatoni alla Vodka, and both dishes were absolute winners. The Chicken Parm was perfectly breaded, juicy, and covered with just the right amount of rich, flavorful sauce. The Rigatoni had this creamy, dreamy vodka sauce that we couldn't get enough of! Each bite was packed with flavor, and you could tell that quality ingredients were at the heart of everything on the menu.
Gigi’s is more than just a restaurant; it’s an experience. Both the chef and designer deserve applause for creating such a memorable place!“

“One of the best Italian restaurants I’ve ever eaten at! The food is all fresh and delicious, and made with artistry and love. Love? Yeah, love. It’s as if the chef/owner, Paul, crafts each entree as if he’s making it for his own family for Sunday dinner. If you order something fried, the batter is light, airy, and crispy like the calamari in this pic. If you order pasta, good luck finding anything fresher. To steal from what another diner wrote on their FB page, this is the kind of Italian restaurant Billy Joel writes songs about. I just wish it was closer so I could eat there more often!“

“Where do I start? Boston was my birthday vacation. Overwhelmed by all the food options, I landed on Porto and it truly delivered 100/10 service, food , atmosphere, care! I had the best time. My server Marcelle was the most kind. He offered me many recommendations inside the restaurant and all over Boston. He gave me a birthday shot of the “Lavender Haze” and a pre dessert of “lemoncello”. It was so good! the whole team took the time to get to know me a bit and allowed me to learn Boston! I was so overwhelmed with the kindness and care! I am only here for a few short days but I will be back to Porto my next time in Boston, which after everything so far won’t be long. ? thank you so very much for a great visit and a memorable birthday!“

“First time visiting, came here with friends who have a boat at the nearby marina and vouched for the quality of food. We were blown away - yes, the food was good… but the highlight truly was our server Mary Beth. She was an absolute delight, and incredible at the finer points of hospitality that really can’t be taught. She was so charming and on top of service and connection in a way that only comes from someone bright and experienced, as well as detail oriented. She went above & beyond for us, and we only wish we lived closer because we’d be regulars.“
