“We ordered clam dinner BBQ ckn calizone steak n cheese grinder. We were suppose to try dessert. I think they forgot. However the food was great. Size of calizone. We definitely were happy with. The grinder was perfect. Bread was not soggy. The grinder had perfect amount of steak. Not just lined on bread. The clam dinner was good. Delivered in timely manner. Very affordable prices. We are excited to try more of their menu items. Definitely must try happy little nook in holden.“

“I did not believe the 4.9 rating so I had to come and check it out for myself. And I can say it is well deserved. All of their drinks are phenomenal. Their bowls are unique and so tasty and overall fairly healthy. I drove with my bowl back to Boston and despite that hour of travel it was still delicious. Would definitely come back and explore the market Edenish is located within. I can say that after coming here I could see taking a day trip from Boston and exploring Worcester a little bit more.“

“This place has absolutely amazing food. I came down from Boston for a real estate deal and stopped in for some authentic Mediterranean food and Gyro and Souvlaki blew me off my socks. Right across the side street from The Commons at Worcester City Hall! Yes! We New Englanders know how to party! _____, her husband _____, pal _____, and yours truly (all of us Leominsterites) made merry at the best middle eastern establishment around! (It’s been a favorite of mine for some time!) Oversized containers piled high with falafel, kibbeh, egg plant, grape leaves, rice, vegetables, as well as beef and chicken (all separated for the veggies among us, ahem!), hummus, tahini, pita bread, baklava, etc. etc.! All in the wonderful Shawarma Palace! When I worked in Saudi Arabia (Riyadh) in the 1980s, I fell in love with the orange-and-lemon-flavored shawarmas along Al Baatha Street, the central traditional thoroughfare at the time. Today, we all got to replicate those flavors at the Shawarma Palace! Hurray and hurrah!“

“Bought a 4 pack at the local grocery. They had been stocking at the store for a short time. Had purchased their selection then realized the beer was flat and a waste. Spent almost $20 for a 4 pack to throw it away. Sent them a courtesy email that I was a bit disappointed and they should check the inventory at that store. Shawn responded a few days later and apologized and asked if I was near their brewery, and he would replace my purchase and offer me a T-Shirt and asked what store I purchased and if I had any photos. Sent him all the info and photos. He has not followed up on his promise.“

“I just had the meatball sandwich and potato salad. Honest review....the meatballs are AMAZING, the bread was very fresh and delicious. Very messy to eat but worth every napkin used!! The potato salad had a bit more mayo than I like but it had a nice flavor and was really good. The price is very reasonable for the portion size and quality of food.“

“We visited the Olive Garden for lunch yesterday 11/15. We sat on the bar side and had the most incredible server, Stephanie! She was very knowledgeable about the menu and anticipated our every need. My husband’s beverage was low and she automatically brought a fresh refill. She was right there when our soup and pasta were near finished. I saw her doing this with each table she served. It was refreshing to have a great meal and a perfect server. We left with full stomachs and big smiles. We will definitely be back. Kudos to Stephanie for her great personality and attention to detail.“

“I want to make some suggestions rather than saying I do or don’t recommend this place. I’m familiar with Pepper’s, and I like to support hard-working chefs, especially when they use local farms and vendors. The overall concept of self-service is fine, but I preferred the table service of the old restaurant. It felt a little more closed in, and I also don’t like the paper plates, cups, and plastic utensils. Real utensils were available, though. The salad choices looked really healthy and colorful, and the menu was certainly varied enough. I saw a frittata being served and it was the size of a half piece of pie, though it looked good. My friends and I opted for soup and grilled cheese sandwiches, thinking they would be more like upscale comfort food. Two of us had the bacon-tomato version, the other had the mushroom. Since they were pre-made, then popped in a convection oven, they were more like melted cheese on dry, light toast, versus the buttery, golden goodness that makes a grilled cheese what its name implies. The portion was small and the fillings meager. If the idea was to make it a healthier grilled cheese, even a drizzle of olive oil might help. The soup was luke-warm, but tasty enough. We shared a dessert bar, which was delicious, with black coffee, which didn’t taste fresh like it had ben sitting a while. Be forewarned that if you pay by credit card, an automatic 15 percent tip is added, though you have the option to change it up or down, if you happen to notice it. There wasn’t much service involved, and you clear your own table. My portion alone, which included the sandwich with chips, a cup of soup, dessert bar, and coffee, plus added tip came to just under twenty dollars. I would give it another shot, but there is room for improvement. We all agreed that the dining experience was at a grade of about C+. Wishing you success in the future... Hope this helps.“

I got a small coffee and cherry pastry and a toasty seat by the fire. The whole place was clean and bright, the staff friendly and ready, despite the early hour and the storm. This was so unexpected and so appreciated. Thank you!“
