There are not enough words to express how lovely the woman at the counter and her husband are! They are so accommodating, and sweet. I believe the wonderful ladies name was Maria who offered to drive the pizza to my house to make up for not taking a name on the order. My interaction with the staff at famous Pizza changed my day. It is easy to see that the service plaza is falling apart and filthy but Papa Gino’s is always very clean and ready to help the very few people who come through that plaza. “We had an issue with Grub Hub, and ended up having the restaurant cancel the order (ordered large but they only had the small dough at the time, which I didn’t think would feed the family, they were very obliging in canceling) we ordered from Papa Gino’s which was more money, and honestly not great, my son (ASD and ARFID) didn’t like it and refused to eat because it was cold. Rocco’s then delivered a large caramelized onion, and gave it to us for free (we owe you a double tip next time, my husband forgot in the confusion). My son immediately dove in eating the onions off the piece and the rest of the piece of pizza. You have made a customer out of us. Not only because of the excellent customer service but the food was very good and reasonably priced. Can’t wait to try some of the other dishes as well, due to the reviews.“

“My son and I stopped here after his game. We only came chose this one, as it looked empty and tge plan was to get going as quickly as possible. Did we make the right decision. This was the beat pizza we had since moving ro MA 4 years ago. The crust was thin and crispy. The sauce was just sweet enough, and the cheese was perfect!
Our only issue, us that this is 25 mins from our house. We will now have to drive 5 towns away to get the best pizza in MA. But is it worth it? YES!!!“

“Outstanding! We picked up food to go while we were back in Franklin attending to our property.
The pizza is almost like a hybrid of NY & Chicago styles. A little deeper crust, but still light and crunchy. So no inedible hard, cardboard crust and no overly thick, mushy crust. We've never had anything like that & it was delightful!
Smooth evenly melted cheese & fresh toppings both of which came right to the edge of the crust put this pizza in a league of it's own. Even reheated it tasted amazing.
Now I love a good steak salad but am always apprehensive ordering it and they did it right! The lettuce was fresh and crispy and only the good parts of the perfectly green lettuce were used. The steak is where many mess up on & this place cooked the steak PERFECTLY. There were numerous tender, we'll seasoned pieces without any gross fatty surprises. Light feta, grape tomatoes, black olives, a couple cucumber slices, pepperoncinii & done. Freshness allows the ingredients to speak for themselves & singing loudly. Just superb! The only thing I could even think to add is a little crispy topper (I would suggest a crispy French fried onions). Also this said was shared by two adults before pizza & there was plenty.
FANTASTIC all around & was made quickly. We'll absolutely be back when we return to town again!“

There’s a new snack item on the menu, a cheese pie. Literally so good, if you like ricotta I highly recommend trying it!

If you have children going to Ashland Public Schools (and beyond!), the new owner has also dedicated half of his restaurant to provide a teen space for after school and on the weekends! There’s a prohibition-style mocktail bar, a large projection screen for kids to play the Nintendo switch or watch movies, and lots and lots of games! I highly recommend making Nick’s your next family fun spot!“

“Exceeded our expectations! We had the cheesy breadsticks and mushroom vegetarian pizza. We didnot expect the quantity of breadsticks to be as large as a pizza! It was delicious and hot and the cheese was delicious! The pizza was delicious, crust was super soft and the cheese was creamy and tasty. It was oozing and the mushrooms were well cooked. Only thing we didn’t enjoy was the tomatoes on the pizza(were too big) but other than that the pizza itself was delicious and we would love to go back again and again just to have it! “I have lived in Framingham for a very long time. I ended up moving out a few years ago, and I also used to run at the track while my wife and I had to see the dentist so we decided since we were coming back and we had to go to an errand. We decided to stop off at the subway shop. Well I’m gonna tell you something I have been going there since I was a teenager back in the 70s. The food was great then the food is awesome now my wife and I went in. We found out it’s been under new management for two months. These two men are both Egyptians or full love. I ordered a meatballs, large sub yesterday and everything on it was fresh. I’m gonna tell you right now. My wife had the sandwich and she couldn’t finish it. I had mine and I’m gonna tell you I barely finished the large , meatball. I could not say anything bad about it when I go back there in the future oh yes, I would. My wife and I walked into the restaurant and the man was super friendly. You don’t see that too often so I’m gonna tell you right now if I wanted to get a sub in the future, I would get it right at this restaurant, I know they have other food. I saw the menu they have it is so good. Everything that they make is good but what I like about these two men is they’re very sincere they want to write so if you’re looking for a good meal check this place out it’s not just subs that they make they make other dinners such as pasta and other fruit so I will go back there in the future since I only live in Ashland the atmosphere in this restaurant was super so I have nothing but high praise. If my wife and I could give them a 10 star we would do it. You will love the sandwich once you go you’re gonna wanna go back.“

One thing I'd like to request. Please add your grape leaves to sides or make a grape leaf dinner. Your grape leaves remind me of my childhood. Stuffed with meat and rice with authentic lemon sauce. Love your grape leafs. I order the Greek salad just because it comes with a grape leaf.

“Expertly prepared seafood! Grilled foods are cooked to perfection always! Outstanding pizza varieties. Salads are always freshly bedded with crispy lettuce with premium ingredients atop! Subs are excellent, and the pasta dinners could potentially feed two. The entire menu is a gastronomical dream come true for this type of fare! I can wholeheartedly recommend the fried haddock with extra crispy fries or the grilled steak and chicken combo with crispy fries plus a side of their tasty rice! Prices can be a little more than pre-covid days but honestly, for the quality of the food and the speed of service I have no problem paying a little more, besides, we get to support a local business and that I believe is important during these trying times! I normally like to visit 3 times before placing a review. Today, I will start based on 2 visits. I will continue to explain below....

After spending so long in New York, I realized I've become a little pizza snobby. But, I always try to be fair and not just compare.

Both visits had consistent results. Pizza cooked to perfection. It's not dry and not too greasy. It's a greek style shallow pan pizza from this location. Perfect amount of cheese browned properly and cut, so it was easy to serve. Took the photo fresh out to the car. :)

I have also had their french fries, greek salad, and baklava. They made sure all the food was fresh and delicious. Thank you again.

Ps it was wonderful to arrive in this small town pizza shop and be called by first name on our second visit. Well done.
