“We used Firefly’s BBQ to cater our son’s graduation party and the food was amazing. We had the food delivered and they were on time, the food was hot (or cold where appropriate) and the service and communication from start to finish was superb. Best cornbread you will ever have as well! We have used them before for catering and we will use them again!“

“The servers and cashiers are amazing! They're really nice to customers and patient. The food is REALLY good! The bean sauces are some of the best I've had in Massachusetts which is saying a lot as I used to live in Somerville. The flan and pudding are PERFECTION, also the best I've had. They have the perfect combination of sweet and milky. The texture is smooth, not runny, not hard. The amount of sweetness is just right. I could go there everyday just for the flan! The meat is also very, very good, though it's sometimes a bit salty, but always delicious.
The price is quite reasonable. And I honestly just enjoy getting lunch here a few times a week when I get to work from home. It's been the highlight of my last few weeks since I've moved back to Massachusetts from Connecticut.“

“We stopped at Slater's for lunch and the food is delicious. We ordered the pulled pork entree which came with cucumber salad, potato salad & corn bread. Plus we got a small Hawaiian pizza. The pizza is wood fired. The pulled pork came first & both me & my husband thought that it was the best BBQ that we have had in a long time. The pizza was thin crust which is our favorite. Everything was delicious. My husband even ordered some pulled pork to go. Our server Liz was so sweet & helpful since this was our first time there.“

“Absolutely AMAZING food! I had the pulled pork mac and cheese and their special corn, and WOW!! Everything was SO, SO, SO good! The flavors were incredible, and every bite was delicious! You can tell they put love into what they make. I honestly can't say enough good things about the food. If you haven't tried Texas Smokeshack yet, you are seriously missing out! I will definitely be back, and I highly recommend giving them a try! 10/10!!“
