“Another fabulous slice of heaven. Around for a limited time. Supposed to close next year so get here while you can. Known as the best dive bar in Hull and the only one below sea level. I was promised to be amazed and this place did not disappoint! As my reviews may suggest, I love me a dive bar and this one is a classic. Wish it was here forever but plan on coming back as much as I can until it's gone.

“Wish we would’ve stopped here sooner. Delicious. Friendly. Cool, laid back vibe. Clean building, great location with views of the ocean. Lots of choices and everything was very fresh. Can’t wait to go back. Oh - and drinks to go. Couldn’t ask for anything more!

“My nonprofit group enjoyed a private party at Tokenfire. The hot appetizers were a great start to the party, with meatballs, pork dumplings, the best brussel sprouts and savory flatbreads. We enjoyed the authentic Shepherds Pie, perfectly grilled salmon, and a vegetarian pasta dish. Dessert, including a fig bread pudding with salted caramel gelato and tiramisu was fabulous. The service was excellent and the ambiance was delightful. I hope to return when they have live music.“

“Just had dinner with my friend Christine at the Mooring. Her Steak Tips and the entire meal was perfect and so was my Turkey Tip dinner. The server was very cheerful, friendly and took care of the entire bar, Drinks, Food, Keno everything! Absolutley awesome job. Compliments to the Chef, he apologized because it took a bit long but there was no need, It was delicious.“

“I love going to this place, and we always enjoy the food, service, except today I request a glass of water with lemon, and the waitress brought me a plastic cup with water and lemon, sorry I don'tdrink water in a plastic cup, so nicely I ask her to change it to a glass , and she was polite, no problem, but next to us was sitting two elderly couple that since we walk in they were very upset because we sit in the next table, and as I was asking the young lady for a regular glass ,this older lady was talking trush about me, and the fellow who was sitting next to me though that because we are Spanish,we couldn't speak English, he respond the lady that Ibwas trush, I respect people, we are educated, and I didn't said what they deserve to be told ,because my parents educated me, I was raised here in Massachusetts, and probably have more manners than this old cauple, they show their true color, racist, think they own every space in the earth, shame on them, if they are so afraid of Spanish people they should not go out of their shell, I been living in Massachusetts for 55 yrs. I don't need to feel uncomfortable in any public place because of few pigeons that cannot leave at home their racism, they are ridiculous, we are in 2023 United State is not only for morons like them, the restaurant is nice, and service is great, probably this young girl is new, don't know what happen, she was nice , but like always there are people that shoyld mind there own business.

“Tavern is always o e of our go to spots for good food and service. We ordered Whipped Feta app and it was delicious. Main meals were bowls and they did not disappoint. Portions are generous enough we took 1/2 home for lunch. Our server Athena was top notch!“

Reasonable prices and if you spend $50 they allow you to choose a free app. They offer lunch specials. Nice surprise was that they offer fried ice cream as a dessert, and it was great. Have been searching for a replacement place for fried ice cream since my last place no longer offers and this is my new spot! Service was good.“

“Love this place, food is superb. I've been making my way through the menu, and I've yet to find anything that hasn't been terrific. Highly recommend the Hot Chicken Sandwich, all the eggrolls, and the HUGE salads.

Bartender is always great, courteous, and makes a great cocktails.

“During my visit to Boston for a conference, I chose to stay at Backpackers Hostel in Everett, Massachusetts. Its excellent proximity to transportation services made it easy for me to travel to the inner city of Boston and other distant locations. The rooms and toilet facilities were clean and well-maintained, creating a comfortable and pleasant environment. The internet was consistently strong and reliable, allowing me to stay connected throughout my stay. Breakfast was provided, although it differed from the traditional breakfast one might have at home. For any additional or special services, guests could request them at an extra cost.

The staff at Backpackers Hostel were exceptionally friendly and courteous. On my last day, I found myself in a stressful situation—just 40 minutes away from missing my flight back to Germany. I lacked a U.S. phone number to book a taxi or Uber, but Michelle, a staff member, went above and beyond to help me. She quickly organized an Uber, ensuring I made it to the airport on time. Her support was invaluable, and I’m deeply grateful for her assistance.

Everett itself is a charming town with a beautiful landscape, adding to the overall experience. I wholeheartedly recommend Backpackers Hostel to any traveler visiting Boston. “Our waitress, Caitlin was very good. The only issue for 2 of us was the chicken in the sandwiches was a bit dry making it very hard to chew so we needed to cut up the pieces. It was tasty though. The other people we were with enjoyed their food, especially the bacon cheeseburger. Sweet potato waffle fries were very tasty. We will try something else next time.“
