““Pure Pastry” was highly recommended by “Cakes for Occasions” because they couldn’t make a Vegan cake. So I called and asked Kim to make my son who is a Vegan an all Vegan birthday cake. We were all pleasantly surprised at how delicious and moist his chocolate cake was with vanilla cream frosting with strawberries in the middle and on top was. Five people ate this cake and we all loved the taste. It looked beautiful too. Another thing I also love about this bakery is the cake box. The cake fit in the box very nicely and on the top you could see the cake through a see through film which was an elegant touch. My son’s cake was so good that I had to order a Vegan strawberry vanilla cake for my birthday too. I can’t wait to get it. Kim is so very friendly and such a nice person and she is very easy to get a hold of on the phone. I very highly recommend Kim and “Pure Pastry” for all of your pastry needs.“

Note to the first reviewer below: If the cookie is called burnt sugar and fennel shortbread, you certainly should expect to find fennel in the cookie! If you don't want fennel, don't order cookies that have fennel in their names.“

“I received a WONDERFUL and DELICIOUS surprise!!! I live in San Antonio TX and my sweet aunt and uncle wanted to send us a sweet treat for Christmas. We received a dozen of your amazing Whoopie Pies. The were shipped and came in INCREDIBLE condition and cold!! We received a variety and what I love about them is the cake is SUPER moist with the cream being fluffy and having just the right amount of sweetness! Would highly recommend to anyone wanting to send an amazing sweet treat ❤️❤️“
“We got our first loaf of this bread yesterday from tender crop farm. The man who was advertising this bread was very informative and helpful when we picked our perfect loaf. He was very proud of this company and his wife! He spoke so highly of her and was excited to show off her picture on the top of the bread shelf. Today we grilled the bread, my daughter had hers with Nutella and i had mine with eggs over easy. DELICIOUS. 10/10 recommend. We will try sour dough next!“

“This place is a gem! One of my fav lunch spots. Everything is scratch made. A true neighborhood spot.
Get the deluxe chicken salad sandwich, seems so unassuming but this sandwich is amazing!! Crave-able! And if you can’t do bread their salads are so delicious and equally crave-able!“
“I gave them 5 stars because when they have the cookies, they are amazing! Service is always friendly and they are always busy doing something, and how can anyone be upset when you walk in and smell freshly baking cookies? The only downfall is that some cookies do sell out fast, so get there early if you have your eye on something popular.“

“Colby Farms Sunflower fields are amazing! I went with my husband and granddaughter today. It was surreal! There was an apron of 3 acres of thousands of brightly sunlit sunflowers. I couldn’t have envisioned what we saw…. It was an experience that I couldn’t have ever imagined. We definitely will revisit again. Through the years we have visited the store before and after sunflower weekend and loved everything about it. Loved the produce and found unique little gifts. Lots of photo ops also… at the store, on old tractors and in and around the fields.“

“Gluten Free Chocolate Chip cookies! That's the one thing my wife wants me to let you know. We were fortunate to stop here while traveling through. We got a few coffees, crescents (not GF) and cookies. After we drove away my wife started raving about how amazing the GF Chocolate Chip cookies were. She told me several times they were the best she ever had and wished that we had gotten more. I had a bite (even though I love gluten in my cookies) and I have to admit they were great. Thanks for a great treat! My wife's only regret is that we were traveling (11 hours away) and we won't be in the area again to get some more. If you stop by, be sure to eat a GF cookie for her!“

“We recently hired Googans to cater for a celebration of life. We kept it simple with a cheese and veggie platter, sandwiches and sweets- finger food. Everything was absolutely delicious! People were raving about how good the sandwiches and desserts were. I absolutely recommend for catering and also to stop in their shop for breakfast and/or lunch. We were very happy with our whole experience with Googan’s.“

“The bagels here are excellent, and everything there is at a great price point for breakfast food. I enjoy them just as much as Abraham's in Newburyport. I only wish they would open a little sooner. I often get there at 7AM to find it not open yet. Hopefully if they get more business they will want to open earlier.“
