“Food and brews are great, but the somewhat sterile interior lacks warmth. It’s like being in a museum cafeteria. 🤪“

“We LOVE Island Creek Oysters!! They are truly the best oysters in the country. We’re picky, self-proclaimed oyster aficionados, and these never, ever disappoint. We have them shipped to our house about once a month, and we recently visited the farm in person. Fabulous! The tour was excellent and informative, and we even got to enjoy beautiful oysters right in Duxbury Bay. An incredible experience all around!“

“Meh. We went to the brewery to see a band and have a beer. My fault I chose the wrong beer but they gave me a different one. The band should stick to southern rock genre as they classic rock need work. Maybe they should interview a new singer? We will try the beer garden at Pinehills next.“

“Very good food at reasonable prices. The menu is also quite varied. Sitting at the counter I was able to observe a lot of how the staff performs. They are always in motion. If they have a few seconds they'll do a variety of things related to maintenance. They operate like a well oiled machine. Terrific place to eat. My comments relate to the Blueberry Muffin in Cedarville.Try the Breakfast BLT.“
“I recently visited Dirty Water Distillery in Plymouth, and I can't say enough good things about it! Joey was an exceptional host—welcoming, knowledgeable, and attentive, making the experience truly memorable. The drinks and beer were absolutely fantastic, showcasing the care and craft that goes into every pour.
The space itself is perfect for gathering, with a warm and inviting atmosphere that encourages great conversation and relaxation. It’s clear a lot of thought went into creating a spot that feels both unique and comfortable.
All in all, it was a terrific night. Highly recommend Dirty Water Distillery for anyone looking for a great drink and a great place to gather.“

“There’s always something fun going on there and a great place to see live music. We went again last night—Grateful Dead theme with a kickass young band (Dial Up) , vendors (got a tie-dye T-shirt “Stell Your Face”), everyone happy!“

“I would very much love the recipe for their clam chowder. Fresh, flavorful. Buttery!? It tasted like a savory broth + cream + butter with fine portions of carrot, celery, bacon & clam.
To die for. Someone send me in the right direction for the recipe please ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️“

“I’ll start with the positives: the food was excellent, the drinks and views were awesome, and even the wait wasn’t bad since the chairs were comfortable and you could grab a drink while waiting. That said, this is definitely not the best spot for a relaxing Saturday date night. There were so many unsupervised kids running wild that it completely killed the vibe. Three separate groups let their kids kick and throw dirt until they broke the landscape lights. Another child (maybe 5) spent nearly an hour standing knee-deep in the pond in her sneakers, again with zero supervision. I don’t mind kids being kids, but when they’re totally unsupervised and destroying property while parents just zone out, it’s a whole different level. Add to that kids jumping all over the dock, it was pure chaos.“
“Needed a lobster roll . This was amazing . Thank you 😊“

“Ate here for the first time today and loved it.
I live 40 minutes away and I will happily make the drive here in the future. We had tuna maki and gyoza for appetizers and pork lo mein and chicken yuen yang and all were delicious. The servers were kind and excellent and the restaurant itself spacious and welcoming. So happy I found this place.“

“As a member of the Boston Vegetarian Society and a vegan for over three decades, I was delighted to discover delicious vegan options on the menu at the Sun Tavern. The culinary standout, smoked tofu, surpassed expectations with its extraordinary flavors and textures, while my wife Meg's pasta dish presented a delicate balance of hearty and fresh locally grown ingredients. Celebrating our 44th anniversary in such a charming ambiance was a true treat. The Sun Tavern’s commitment to delivering satisfying and robust vegan cuisine positions it among the finest dining experiences in the South Shore area, ensuring it takes a well-deserved place on the vegan-friendly epicurean map. “It’s always a great meal at The Rye Tavern! My friend and I had brunch this morning outside on the patio. It’s a literal, hidden gem in the middle of the woods. Our food and drinks were delicious. The setting is perfect to feel like you are stepping back in time. The food is creative, elevated, farm to table, and delicious! I will always recommend The Rye Tavern.“

“Absolutely the best latte I have ever had. Love all the pastries but am partial to the brownies. Obsessed might be a better word.. sooo good. Have ordered some cakes and they were above and beyond any other bakery around. Actually I try to stay away from Keegan’s but I have not been successful! Absolutely must try this shop.“
