“Made a trip through the old stomping grounds of Lawrence and stopped in to grab some dessert pastries and cookies. Immediately greeted by the owner, who couldn’t be more of a sweetheart. Answered any questions with a smile, talked about the business with gratitude and love for what she does. We grabbed a variety of cookies, couple of the Dubai chocolate cannolis, and lobster tails. Hands down… BEST pastries I have had in years. Do not sleep on this place, they will absolutely gain your business over and over again!!!“

“I first tried there cake at a wedding over 2 years ago. Everyone went for seconds, including me. I’m not a cake lover but I love their icing.I did buy the roses myself, and they were kind enough to place them.If you order a cake like this, make sure it has good structure and take another person to pick it up. Our did collapse, but we were still able to serve it and the guests loved it.This is a 40min drive from my place, but so worth it. Fredy and Dominga are so sweet and lovely, it was a pleasure meeting them!“

“I was thinking of how happy I was to discover the amazing products that are created by Joseph’s Bakery. My family and I have enjoyed their delicious Pita Breads for some time. They are always fresh as well as delicious. Made with lots of love. We enjoy the original version and also the whole grain version and the whole wheat version. I have used the Pita bread to make my own delicious Pizza recipe; Stuffed them with Hummus and Baba Ghanoush cucumber and tomato for a Mediterranean meal! Sometimes I just cut them in half and fill them with a salad and drizzle a little dressing for another very filling and healthy meal. Then there’s my favorite breakfast pita with sautéed potatoes, peppers and scrambled eggs. Very delicious! I highly recommend Joseph’s Bakery Pita Bread to anyone who wants to eat delicious and fresh tasting authentic pita bread!“

“I got this for takeout. This is next to the noodle shop I went all the time. I wanted to get some takeout for later. First, they speak only Spanish. If you don’t speak Spanish, you will need Google Translate. But because there are only a few options, you can just point at the food and order. I ordered yellow rice, pork, and ribs. It came with a salad for about 10. Pretty good portion size. I think the pork rib is good, tender and moist with good flavor. The pork is a little dry but eatable. Flavor for both items are on point. The yellow rice is very tasty. You can eat that by itself. This place is great for a quick lunch. I will probably go back if I want to eat quickly.“
