“If you want to eat a very good brunch you should come to Roses restaurant, it is clean, nice and the staff are very friendly and also they are bilingual . The food was delicious and you can feel a mix of good flavors at the same time you see the effort and time that the chef put in each plate. This restaurant has a multicultural menu which is very good for the family. I love it and I will come back again.“

“Travel hack: whenever I’m traveling from NY to RI (or the other way) I like to stop at this Starbucks. It is only a mile off the highway, but is much cleaner than any highway stop. It’s a half way into the drive, so a nice time to grab a coffee and use the clean restroom. I recently stopped with a toddler and had my hands full. The staff offered to take care of my trash for me, which was helpful.“

Delicious wines & beers, friendly owners & staff, beautiful scenery overlooking Richmond pond and the Berkshire mountains, plenty of chairs, tables and area to sit and enjoy, kid & dog-friendly, great food trucks, wonderful musical entertainment, and a renovated barn for large parties. We are so lucky to have Balderdash here!!“

“My wife and I stopped in for Valentine’s Day last night and were reminded why Brava is the best restaurant in the Berkshires. We have been three times and every time we go we are impressed. Initially we were hesitant, thinking it would be over priced but it is always less expensive than we expected. Pizzas, wings, and the bread pudding were the favorites this time. 10/10.“

“Food during brunch was incredible! The pancakes and latte's are particularly spectacular.

It is a loud crowded space with is lovely and cozy, but can be a little overwhelming as well.

Make sure to order everything you think your going to want at the counter because you will have to get in line if you want another latte or seltzer. That being saidpst of the staff are lovely and will do what they can to help you get what you want if you find your lacking something.

“Their breads and rolls go up to eleven! I can’t get enough of their Signature Farmers Bread. It’s so flavorful and consistently delicious. Great bakery and breads - you won’t be disappointed whether you buy their breads in stores locally or drop in in-person to the main bakery store“

“Absolutely the best food I have had in Great Barrington. As an avid chicken roaster, I was extremely pleased with their brick chicken. They must brine it or something because it was so tender and well seasoned throughout. On the side was a dandelion salad which converted me from being a dandelion hater. It was so good. As other reviews have said, the corn bread is an absolute must. The peach cobbler for dessert was okay, but the rest of the meal had set such a high bar that I felt it fell short.

The service was sort of mediocre. The waitress was okay, but didn’t come around very frequently and it took a long time when we needed things like a sharper knife for the chicken or the check.

Overall, I highly recommend The Prairie Whale and I hope to be back soon!“

“On our way home from drone daughter off at camp we stopped in. I got the brisket and rib combo. My wife got the burger. We got a pretzel and Mediterranean snack. It was all delicious. Friendly staff and nice atmosphere. I will go again.“
