The atmosphere was comfortable, and the meal made for a great dining experience overall.“

“My wife and I drove two hours from Cooperstown and had the best dinner in memory, starting with plump delicious oysters and two main courses, scallops piccata and the dinner special of lobster and scallops pasta. Our waiter was Milton and he couldn't have been better. Dessert was pineapple flambe, ice cream and chocolate sauce served in a pineapple shell, accompanied by excellent coffee. And on Wednesday nighst, live music is provided by singer/guitarist Melissa Brinton at just the right sound level, with violin and penny whistle added by Eileen Markland. “Angelina’s will always have a special place in my heart. I grew up in Pittsfield, and every time I come back to visit family I make sure to stop in and get a tomato and cheese sub before I leave town. It’s become a tradition I look forward to every time.

There’s something about it that’s incredibly nostalgic. I’ve eaten at plenty of sub shops over the years and I work in Boston where there are endless options, but Angelina’s always hits differently.

Sometimes the simplest things are the best. It’s a classic Pittsfield staple and a place that brings back great memories every time I visit. I’ll always be a loyal customer.“
