The rib dinner is my favorite, I’ve had it three weeks in a row. ITS THAT GOOD! Chef Dan has quite the imagination to excite the customers with a changing menu for the seasons.”

“I always order their popcorn chicken and Taiwanese Beef Noodle Soup! Love the ambiance of this family owned restaurant. Expect to wait a little bit when you come during weekends because the space isn’t too big and has limited tables. But food is delicious! Absolutely recommended!”

“We previously been to the Concord location 3 times for pre theater dinner. We liked it very much. But it is LOUD. The Newton location is very close and convenient to our home. We finally scored a reservation. The food was the same excellence we were expecting. The service was better. Our server was the perfect amount of attentive. The noise level was much more manageable. It is a small and crowed space. It is noisy. The noise level in Concord is almost overwhelming. This was no where that loud. Clientele ranged from families with small children to the very elderly. The only negative was we found the valey attendant to be rather rude. Waving his arms and shooing us away. That's fine. I don't allow valet to touch my car.
You need to plan ahead of time if you wasn't to have dinner here. Same day reservations for dinner time are hard to come by.”

“The best Mexican in a hundred-mile radius. The tacos are my favorite, and the team is friendly and professional. The setting fits the street-taco character, but definitely try the plates, tortas, and burritos. I've been a customer for a decade and hope to be for decades more!”

“We had a great meal at Stella. It has such a warm and homey vibe when you enter, with delicious food. All the pastas are exceptional; simple but really high quality. The menu is a little small but all the items were executed really well. The only point of criticism is that the meatballs were a bit too bready in texture. This definitely seems to be a restaurant that is frequented by locals, and overall we would come back!”

“I have lived in the Boston-esque area for twelve years and have eaten so many good meals, but the fish tacos here are the only meal I needed to have before my upcoming move out west(ern MA). Cocktails are fun and creative, service is 13/10, the XL portions of fries that require to-go boxes are the only fries I’ve ever found to reheat well, and if you’re lucky, Steve will be tending bar. I love going at the slightly quieter times but I’ll never gatekeep the euphoria experienced by a meal here. Bonus perks: Max & Chelsea have the best senses of humor, the murals on the patio are always amazing, the beer and wine selection are vast (also the mocktails!), and the decor always feels like your favorite “I Spy” book.”

“The pulled pork was very flavorful, no sauce necessary. The ribs pulled off the bone with ease and were yummy! The mac 'n cheese was very cheesy and cooked well. The presentation was excellent, especially for a BBQ joint. So here's where the 4 comes in. The sweet and spicy cole slaw is actually too spicy for generic white people (like me), but maybe I'm not the audience. I'd have been okay with that except the wait staff told me it was not spicy. Additionally, the corn bread was dry. The caramelized banana pudding taste no different than banana pudding, so don't expect more than that. Don't get me wrong. I could have two servings! Wait staff was so on the ball! Ambiance was classier than a typical BBQ joint, but not obnoxious. Bathroom was clean. Plenty of parking. Easy access from the road and highway. Overall, would eat there again.”
