“I liked the burger. Truffle Gorgonzola fries were ok— I liked the fries, but didn’t really like the sauce. Stomach felt a little funny after, but not sure if that was the burger or fries.

Food came quick. Space was clean and small but not crowded.

Parking lot out back had multiple spaces available and was $1.35/hr. There’s some 2 hr free spots a few blocks down but you have to parallel park. Some 1 hr free spots closer to the restaurant but those were almost all taken Saturday lunch hour.“

“We stopped in on the way home from the airport, and it was amazing! From the moment we walked in the door, we felt welcomed. The atmosphere and food were awesome. I highly recommend the Mickey’s Chicken special and the red sangria which was a deep dark red- as sangria should be. Yum! My children loved our Irish waitress who Made them laugh and feel special. This restaurant is over an hour from where we live, but there is no doubt we will travel back often. Wonderful experience!“

Every employee I ever encountered showed respect and hospitality to their guests. Really isn't a better place in Brighton. The restaurant group has some of the top bars in Boston.

Cocktails are fun and creative, service is 13/10, the XL portions of fries that require to-go boxes are the only fries I’ve ever found to reheat well, and if you’re lucky, Steve will be tending bar. I love going at the slightly quieter times but I’ll never gatekeep the euphoria experienced by a meal here. Bonus perks: Max & Chelsea have the best senses of humor, the murals on the patio are always amazing, the beer and wine selection are vast (also the mocktails!), and the decor always feels like your favorite “I Spy” book.“

“We celebrated our 49th anniversary at Il Cpariccio and were totally blown away. Although I had made the reservation for the wrong date, they were totally accommodating. The food and service were spectacular. We shared the tuna tartare with homemade potato chips and had the duck breast and halibut for entrees. Our server brought over a few wines to try and found ones that paired beautifully. They brought our shared dessert decorated on a large plate that said Happy Anniversary. All in all, a great evening.“

“Not only was the Baba , Peach Gazpacho and chicken Shastish delish , but Chef David took the time to chat with us in 100 degree weather and served us a sample of his staffs lunch he was preparing for them today ...his moms fav dish when he was a kid... THE MESSY SANDWICH ! Homemade Crispy BLT , heirloom tomato with a hit of peanut butter . Hope he puts it on the menu someday but more importantly know he's "the real deal" born and raised New England cool, creative and genuine - cheers to you Chef David !!!“

“Finally got to try this place on moody st. In Waltham. The tapas/small plates were excellent. I had the swordfish tacos and shared the yucca fries and corn fritters. All delicious with lots of flavor. The churros for dessert was a highly, yummy with chocolate and dulce de leche sauces for dipping. The sangria of the day was really good as well. I would definitely go back.“

“My husband and I went to Sobre Mesa last night, it had been recommended to us. We dined at the large U shaped bar. The atmosphere was lovely and customers appeared happy, as did the staff. I want to shout out Shannon, our bartender. Shannon welcomed us with her huge smile and positive energy. She really knew her way around the bar & talked to us about the menu. The margaritas had fresh lime juice and were so refreshing. We started with chips & salsa and guacamole, delicious. For dinner we ordered the fajitas with chicken, it was dynamite. We will definitely return!“

“Went to this restaurant after seeing it featured on Phantom Gourmet and my husband and myself left full of good food. The food was tasty and came to our table ready to eat and the service was great! They gave us everything we needed in a timely manner. The restaurant was on a smaller scale but we got a table pretty quickly without making a reservation. We even had the dessert of the strawberry shaved ice which had a bowl that was big enough to easily feed the two of us and it was very delicious!“

I know, not overly adventurous but when the food is this good and the atmosphere is right, why bother looking? You won’t find better! We tried: - Pan seared chicken: AMAZING. - Fish and chips: when you live on the east coast it’s hard to get good fish and chips but these hit the mark! - Filet Mignon: Full of flavour and tender. - Steak Tips: Again, tender and full of flavour. - Risotto: Wonderfully strong mushroom flavour but yet offset with a field of flavours. - Scallops: Seared to perfection. - Short-rib Meatballs: Meat and cheese combo to die for. - Calamari: Another difficult one to get right and find fresh! This was one of my favourite with the dip and hot peppers. - Sirloin: Cooked to perfection, flavour was a hit and a good portion size, well worth the money. THE HOUSE SALAD: All I can say, EMAIL ME THE RECIPE FOR THE DRESSING!! This was the best item for me on the menu. Fresh, simple and full of flavour. I got it with every meal. So to recap: 10/10“

“Had an absolute feast here for a good price. This food is perfect for a Friday night after a hard week. It’s filling and flavorful. The soup dumplings were a highlight along with the scallion beef rolls.

I've enjoyed their take-out pizza before, but I recently went there for my birthday dinner. It was great!
Our server was Maridian & she was wonderful! My companion & I mentioned to her that we were planning to share both of our meals. When our dinners arrived, we each received a half portion of the meals, as individual servings. It was a perfect solution for sharing!
We shared the full meal of the Pan Seared Scallops & Harvest Ravioli & the small portion of the Shrimp & Scallop Risotto. ♥️♥️
According to their website menu, the Pan Seared Scallops & Harvest Ravioli was a delicious combination of butternut squash, pumpkin & sweet potato raviolis, creamy sage brown butter, cranberry chutney, roasted pepitas & micro greens.
The Shrimp & Scallop Risotto was shrimp, sea scallops, spinach, corn, roasted tomatoes & saffron risotto.
Both of our choices were fabulous!
