People were friendly, don’t know if it was my Southern Accent 😁 but either way I had a great time relaxing at the Tavern.“

We absolutely loved the vibe and the service that we received. The cocktails were great! Between the two of us we got a gin based drink (purple rain) and a rum based drink (lock & key) and some truffle fries. We loved our drinks, and our bartender- absolute top notch service!

This place can get busy, so you’ll need reservations and you’ll need a password to get in. They’ve been open for about five years, so if you haven’t ventured in yet, definitely put this place on your list!

“My husband and I went to Crossroads last night on the spur of the moment - we were pleasantly surprised with everything!! Great vibe / casual and relaxing with great TV set ups at the bar so we could keep an eye on the Celtics game… great cocktails, food was fresh and delicious with a unique flair that the chef creates to show his wide range of training and influences! I love that he personally came out to chat with us after we finished eating. What a wonderful local business that I am happy to support! Can’t wait to go back and try more of their amazing offerings! “Everybody needs to have a great dive bar. THIS IS IT! Long bar with comfy stools. Lots of seating and standing room along the other side of the room. Limited (but too limited) selection of beers and alcohol which makes it easy to pick one without taking too much time. Bar staff have been around and seen some shit and they aren't going to put up with you're bullshit. They are very nice and super efficient, but they have people to serve. The prices are GREAT, incredible for downtown Boston. I love everything about this place.“

“I have 2 new favorites in Allston. One is a hotel and the other is Hobson’s. Great restuarant with a beautiful, comfortable, open interior, a friendly staff and good food. We had a pretty good size group (about 15) and started with apps, then moved on to a dinner including pizzas (get the meatball and ricotta), burgers, pasta and sausage. Drinks seemed to please everyone (though I stuck with the cider). The parking lot was also a nice plus. Highly recommended.“

“Truly great place for apéro! Interesting selection of cocktails and loved the idea to create your own based on the flavors/spirits!
The style of the place is confusing and feels like a bit of everything. I understand if they tried to play around its name but after all feels like super random design choices. Great to meet up with friends before dinner but wouldn’t choose it as a romantic spot.
