People were friendly, don’t know if it was my Southern Accent 😁 but either way I had a great time relaxing at the Tavern.“

“Went here to celebrate a friends birthday and it was pretty awesome! Definitely a fun time! It’s a very intimate experience and the drinks take a while to come out but with the amount of time and effort they’ve put into concocting them it’s understandable. Food was decent I wouldn’t rant and rave about anything in particular it wasn’t bad that’s for sure just not standing out as much as the drinks do!“

Great vibe / casual and relaxing with great TV set ups at the bar so we could keep an eye on the Celtics game… great cocktails, food was fresh and delicious with a unique flair that the chef creates to show his wide range of training and influences! I love that he personally came out to chat with us after we finished eating. What a wonderful local business that I am happy to support! Can’t wait to go back and try more of their amazing offerings! The staff were 100% up to speed with a marked up menu and awareness of cross contamination etc Well done p.s One tip for the owners - you have done all the work on GF - why not put the GF menu on the website or mark up the main menu and get the extra custom“

“Walked in on a Friday afternoon. Bartender was absolutely fantastic. Old Fashioned was lovely. The Picklebacks though were the highlight of the trip. They make their own spicy pickle juice and I’m obsessed with it. I wish they bottled it and it was available for sale. I need the recipe. Best drinks we had in Boston all weekend.“

“Went only once last night so don't want to knock any stars. But, my biggest suggestion is that please include pictures of sake bottles (even just labels) next to the title on your online menu. Right now, it's paragraphs after paragraphs of many many sakes. I got analysis paralysis after a few seconds.“

“VERY cool vibes! Even cooler this place is behind a random door in the alley of an alley.
The drinks were good, but $22/drink made us stay for only one. We thought there would be something cool like dry ice or something for that price. One of our drinks came in a horn, which was cool. The other was basically an espresso martini. The bartender put on a neat show.
It felt like there needed to be one more bartender and one less server. It’s a very small room so the servers seemed like they were standing around a bit waiting for the bartender. We waited a pretty long time for our drinks.
