“My husband and I sat outside and had a lovely snack in the sun, away from most of the hustle & bustle that October brings to Salem. We thoroughly enjoyed the butternut squash hummus, falafel, and cauliflower & quinoa tabouleh but the real highlight for us was the apple cider! Holy. It was the best we had on our trip around New England. Not too sweet, served nice & hot, lightly spiced and so, so good! The service was wonderful as well! “I had lunch there today with a colleague and was blown away by the service and the quality of the food! Everything was delicious. The charred rosemary bread was so good and we loved the short beef gyro and falafel. We finished off with an amazing chocolate tres leches tart that was out of this world. I cannot wait to go back!“

“We stopped by here on Halloween needing some fuel for our trip to Salem! It did not disappoint! We were welcomed with smiles and free falafel tasters. It was a Friday special so we had extra falafel with the falafel bowl order too. I ordered the falafel bowl, which was INCREDIBLE! My husband had another bowl which I can't remember what it was called but it had egg in it - he also enjoyed this. There is a small seating area inside and some additional seats on the street. “AMBA has amazing, delicious food with unique and lovely colors, flavors, fragrance and taste. This was the second time I ordered a complete takeout meal; but this time instead of ONE, I ordered TWO whole roasted rotisserie chickens with sides, mezze and sauces. A tall order.
Initially, I was concerned that the roast chickens might be overcooked as it was a takeout meal, but after a discussion with the head of operations, we had the entire meal ready to serve and delivered on time unexpectedly by a fellow employee, W.G.

And as promised and predicted, the meal was delivered in a timely fashion, chickens hot and ready to serve. We can't thank AMBA enough for a stellar meal enjoyed by 9 very discerning diners! This was an occasion where I the host had a chance to talk and not cook... truly priceless.

“This is my third time visiting this place, and it still doesn’t disappoint! My go-to order is the chicken and lamb plate—the quality and quantity are great for the price.

While the restaurant isn’t fancy and the space may not be as clean as some might expect, it’s perfect for a quick, satisfying bite. If you get sick, it’s because your immune system is definitely weak. Only those with strong microbiome will enjoy this place. The shawarma is genuinely tasty, and the owner is incredibly kind. I’ll definitely be coming back!“

“My fiancé and I were craving oxtail and decided to order from this Jamaican restaurant—and let me just say, the food did not disappoint! The oxtail was tender, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. Everything we tried was seasoned so well and packed with flavor.

I forgot to grab the chef’s name, but whoever was behind the food that night deserves a big shoutout. You can tell there’s real love and skill going into the cooking here. We’ll definitely be ordering again—highly recommend if you’re looking for authentic, delicious Jamaican food! “The cava in dodge st is the best place in Beverly to get a quick and healthy meal. I see some complaints with people online ordering and using uber eats. To that I say, go in there! The staff is so friendly! I go all the time and they are simply lovely. Their online order assembly line looks like it’s constantly full, which just means it’s so good people can’t get enough of it. I think that’s just a sign for corporate to open more locations to be able to service all these online orders. But to the dodge st team, keep up the great service.“

“This place is superb. The food was delicious, fresh, tasty, VERY SUBSTANTIAL (one bowl will feed 3!) and a delight. The owner welcomed us with grace and kindness and told us that if it wasn't to our liking, he would make it right. We were gifted Rice Pudding (the cinnamon....oy vey!) and Baklava. Will be back every time I go to Mass General for treatment.“

“We went to Sorellina yesterday (Saturday night) at 5:30 pm as that was the only reservation I could get at one of the top restaurants in Backbay Boston. Boston has some good restaurants but getting reservations on a Saturday night if you don’t have one is going to take a miracle.
Sorellina is an Italian-Mediterranean restaurant and it is also a one of the romantic places to dine with beautiful ambience. They are known for their fresh pastas and seafood.
Their service is impeccable and they really go overboard with it.
The food was amazing as well. We tried the tuna tartare, the oysters for appetizers. We shared the mafaldine a mushroom pasta for primi, and the veal chop Milanese for entree. Just one thing was that the veal was a bit overcooked.
We tasted the non-alcoholic Negroni count-me-in and the Guinness zero stout which were almost like the real thing.
Most of all I was impressed by their wait staff and their service so we gave them a very big tip.
I am sure I will return here for another meal.“

“I’ve been to Peregrine Restaurant a few times, and it’s become one of my favorite spots. The atmosphere is calm and quiet, which makes it really comfortable for working, meeting friends, or just taking a break. The location is also super convenient for both my job and my home.

I tried the iskender kabob plate. I’ve never had that dish before so I have no baseline, but it was tender meat in a delicious sauce served over bread cubes that soaked up all of the goodness — all with a side of yogurt. Amazing dish, I will return for more. Portion size was huge too. Tried the baklava for dessert, also excellent. Bonus, the person working behind the counter was super nice.
