“For years, I breezed past this spot, assuming it was just and old convenience store. Little did I know, I was missing out on some good sandwich deals. A few months back, I discovered they were slinging subs, so I stopped by a couple times to grab some cold subs.
P&K has been a neighborhood fixture for over seven decades, and you can feel that old-school charm the moment you meet the owner. He’s the kind of guy who’s always friendly and never skimps on the toppings—generosity is clearly baked into the business. While the sandwiches aren’t quite the size of Al’s famous subs, they still pack great value, and honestly, they’re hefty enough that I rarely manage to finish one for breakfast. My favorites so far were the seafood salad and the classic Italian sandwich.
Definitely recommend stopping by if you’re looking for no-frills, classic Italian subs. Just keep in mind that the hot subs aren’t usually available until after 10am.“

“Love all the sandwiches, and everything is easily customized. Wonderful atmosphere, old wood and great photos of the old neighborhood on the walls. Food is always great, and I keep coming back.
Vegetarian options: I typically get the Beyond Burger (with mushrooms and cheddar cheese), which is great. There are several other vegetarian options as well.“

“Highly recommend Professor’s catering! Decided to have them make the food for a post wedding brunch I co-hosted in April. Best decision ever! Guests raved about the food! Then in June, I needed a last minute gluten free entree, and the team put together a beautifully garnished pan of gluten free roasted chicken that was delicious. Love their grab and go prepared foods case, too! 10 out of 10!“

“I was working in Boston it was early morning and I was craving a breakfast sandwich so I found Max’s Deli Cafe conveniently it was open around 6:30am. I ordered a pastrami, egg & cheese sandwich on a roll it was tasty the service was fast and accurate i will have to return for lunch but breakfast was exactly what I wanted.“

“Temple of German Food I like the sausage chapel. Just had the store made Bauerwurst for dinner and they were a delight. Range of German deli is excellent. Bake goods. A good source for European candy and treats. Covid.took away very nice cafe but the important thing is they were able to keep the store open. Personnel always knowledgable and helpful. Always a pleasure to shop there“
“Stopped in today, this was my second time shopping. Got 10lbs fresh kielbasa and lots of other goodies. Very helpful and pleasant staff. I’m not Polish, but my husband and kids are, so I cook the traditional Polish food. I will definitely keep coming back, so hard to find good authentic Polish food!!“

“My opinion is 9.6/10. Came here because of man vs food did the 2 lbs burger. This place till this day has the juiciest burger meat I ever had was literally dripping down my arm, but not only juicy flavorful and highly enjoyable. “The caprese sandwich here is the greatest sandwich I’ve tasted in my life. Even the sandwiches I’ve had in Italy do not hold a candle to the caprese sandwich I had here. My only complaint is that there isn’t one closer to me so I could eat it more often. Service is always quick and workers are always friendly. Cannot recommend more.“

“Catering. Chicken parm, eggplant parm & raviolis were excellent. Got chicken florentine too, ehhh. Expected it to come like the parm.(same price) chicken topped w spinach & cheese & sauce. But it was all chopped up & loaded with ziti. It was mostly a pasta dish. The biggest offense w it for me was that it had red peppers in it. Yuck. My fault I guess cuz I assumed it would be like I have had everywhere else. Everything else I ordered was delicious & eaten. Only thing I took home was a full tray of of the Florentine which will go bad cuz I don't like peppers. Prices are good too.“

“Great locally owned spot for breakfast. The food was fast and fresh! And a great value! I had the 3 cheese omelet with breakfast potatoes, they were skin-on reds! My young daughter (9) had the English muffin egg and bacon —she wholeheartedly agreed. Beats the socks off the chain places nearby with preprepped frozen foods being made by people who don’t care.“

“We LOVE Inna's! My son devours her chicken pot pies regularly! Her gluten free baked goods got us through a real tough period when he found out he was allergic to wheat. The knishes are fantastic and we LOVE her cookies. Of course the non-gluten free stuff is great too!“

“Ate here on vacation twice and the family loved it. Breakfast was great- I had the breakfast sandwich and the kids had pancakes. Lunch had many unexpected items. I had the musaka, which I had no idea what it was, but it was amazing. The guys working the counter bantered and were a ton of fun.“

“Parking: Great place to grab a healthy meal to go or to enjoy while you do some people watching on Centre Street. My favorite is the Thanksgiving Day Sub, delicious every time. They have all the things you would expect at a convenience store with lots of Irish specials food too. There is a guy named Ahmad there, and he is incredibly kind. I visited today for their boiled dinner and I was not disappointed..I was with friends and we all had delicious thin cut red corn beef with potatoes , turnip, cabbage, potatoes, carrots. The restaurant is a good size with plenty of room for large parties. “We have been getting subs from Boyles since I was a child over 5 decades. They have always been consistent and can honestly say that they have the best Italian subs I’ve eaten. I hadn’t eaten there since we moved away and miss the taste of their subs. The large deluxe Italian has all the Italian meats you would want. It was huge. Deli sized Pepperoni, hot cappacola, mortadella, salami. They cut their meat thick too and use cubed veggies which I feel is a must on an Italian sub. Kudos for Boyles for their consistency through the years and always making subs my family loves.“

“Was greeted promptly and in a friendly manner as soon as I walked in the door. Pamela was so helpful and SO accommodating. Had a hot italian sausage sub with peppers and onions and the flavor was to die for and I will definitely go back. The bread was from the bakery next door - Piantadosi's and was fresh as can be. That is the bread we buy at home as well. Nice butchery shop was plenty to choose from.“
