“Heard about this burger joint...AND I wasn't disappointed, in fact it will probably take me a few months to eat my way through their eclectic menu and no doubt I'll enjoy the ride. Burger was excellent, but the caveat was the cole slaw, NOT your store bought or KFC, this was truly a chef Michelin rated green/purple slaw with an incredible dressing. “My husband and I love coming to banh mi cafe, it’s one of our neighborhood go-to’s. It’s especially great to pick up a banh mi for a little picnic across the street, or by the library, which is advised bc they only have three counter seats.

Everyone here at banh mi cafe is efficient and welcoming, so service is quick. You can easily order at the kiosk if you’re feeling antisocial, the the staff are open to answering questions too. I usually go with the standard deli meat sandwich which is phenomenal. I tried their bbq pork and their lemongrass tofu last night. Both were super tasty, but I’m always nostalgic for a traditional banh mi personally. However, the lemongrass tofu was honestly a sleeper hit. It’s really flavorful and has such a nice contrasting texture against their French bread. Highly recommend it here! Their fresh rolls are also fantastic—extremely crisp, I think they add chive in it? It’s great, whatever it is lol. I will say, in the dozens of times I’ve been, they have only sold out of bread once after 6/6:30pm, but when I tell you I was absolutely devastated…so get there early if you can!“

“I was in Boston for a day and needed something to eat to hold me down for a few hours. I found this place inside a whole foods. It was weird. Nobody was there to take my order. I thought it was closed, but the hours stated it was open. I noticed the option of placing my order online via a QR code. So I did. 10 minutes later my food arrived. For the record, it was 1 BBQ burger. It looked like something you'd get at McDonald's. And tasted like the Rodeo Cheeseburger at Burger King. Actually brought back lots of memories from my childhood. Really good in a junk food kind of way. The menu actually had lots of options, all fast food inspired. I would love to go back and try it all. A bit pricy tho. “First, Chick-fil-A usually has great customer service. There is usually nothing missing in the order. Typically, I have not issues with the food. This time the chicken and fries seemed like they were possibly fried in a different type of oil. There’s a distinct odor that the chicken and fries had. I was barely able to eat the food the time.That’s said, i’ve noticed the same odor to other area restaurants that fry food (not just Chick-fil-A )

“I was going to every fast food place in a desperate search of a charging station. Stumbled across this restaurant and was relieved to find four charging stations near the window. “Had Amelia Cluck & Smash near Northeastern last week and I can confidently say I’ve entered my chicken sandwich era.

The Hot Honey Chicken Sandwich was easily the star of the meal. Perfectly crispy, juicy, and balanced with that sweet-and-spicy combo that just works. Honestly, no complaints there — a true 10/10 sandwich.

We also tried the smash burger, tacos, and churros. Everything was solid, satisfying, and exactly what you want from a quick comfort-food stop. Nothing overly fancy, but definitely hits the craving.

This spot really shines for what it is: a classic grab-and-go place. Quick, convenient, and great when you want something indulgent without committing to a full sit-down experience.

The offerings themselves, which are varied and excellent, the staff, and the physical environment are all perfect for a quick and satisfying lunch. As an architect, I appreciate the layout of the store, which is congenial and encourages communication with others.“
