“Best people and best food around! Love them for breakfast AND lunch. Always the friendliest guys in there. Counter service style deli. Portions are HUGE, so come hungry. One of our party ordered the Animal burger and this thing was a BEAST. Felt like I was watching a real life version of Man vs. Food. Greek salad also rocked.“

“For years, I breezed past this spot, assuming it was just and old convenience store. Little did I know, I was missing out on some good sandwich deals. A few months back, I discovered they were slinging subs, so I stopped by a couple times to grab some cold subs.

P&K has been a neighborhood fixture for over seven decades, and you can feel that old-school charm the moment you meet the owner. He’s the kind of guy who’s always friendly and never skimps on the toppings—generosity is clearly baked into the business. While the sandwiches aren’t quite the size of Al’s famous subs, they still pack great value, and honestly, they’re hefty enough that I rarely manage to finish one for breakfast. My favorites so far were the seafood salad and the classic Italian sandwich.

Definitely recommend stopping by if you’re looking for no-frills, classic Italian subs. Just keep in mind that the hot subs aren’t usually available until after 10am.“

“Temple of German Food I like the sausage chapel. Just had the store made Bauerwurst for dinner and they were a delight. Range of German deli is excellent. Bake goods. “My opinion is 9.6/10. Came here because of man vs food did the 2 lbs burger. This place till this day has the juiciest burger meat I ever had was literally dripping down my arm, but not only juicy flavorful and highly enjoyable. “Catering. Chicken parm, eggplant parm & raviolis were excellent. Got chicken florentine too, ehhh. Expected it to come like the parm.(same price) chicken topped w spinach & cheese & sauce. But it was all chopped up & loaded with ziti. It was mostly a pasta dish. The biggest offense w it for me was that it had red peppers in it. Yuck. My fault I guess cuz I assumed it would be like I have had everywhere else. Everything else I ordered was delicious & eaten. Only thing I took home was a full tray of of the Florentine which will go bad cuz I don't like peppers. Prices are good too.“

“The caprese sandwich here is the greatest sandwich I’ve tasted in my life. Even the sandwiches I’ve had in Italy do not hold a candle to the caprese sandwich I had here. My only complaint is that there isn’t one closer to me so I could eat it more often. Service is always quick and workers are always friendly. Cannot recommend more.“

Had a hot italian sausage sub with peppers and onions and the flavor was to die for and I will definitely go back. The bread was from the bakery next door - Piantadosi's and was fresh as can be. “Not much to say, it's a bit overpriced for what you get, but it is objectively a solid pastrami and chopped liver sandwich, and the coffee isn't bad either! I've had better and larger for less (Attman's in Baltimore for one), but in downtown Boston, this hits the spot.“

“We have been getting subs from Boyles since I was a child over 5 decades. They have always been consistent and can honestly say that they have the best Italian subs I’ve eaten. I hadn’t eaten there since we moved away and miss the taste of their subs. The large deluxe Italian has all the Italian meats you would want. It was huge. Deli sized Pepperoni, hot cappacola, mortadella, salami. They cut their meat thick too and use cubed veggies which I feel is a must on an Italian sub. Kudos for Boyles for their consistency through the years and always making subs my family loves.“

“Their food is spot on.. I visited today for their boiled dinner and I was not disappointed..I was with friends and we all had delicious thin cut red corn beef with potatoes , turnip, cabbage, potatoes, carrots. The restaurant is a good size with plenty of room for large parties.
