“An absolute 10/10 experience every single time!
I like the thrill of trying new restaurants; so, I rarely return anywhere more than once every couple of months.
But, between the excellent service, delicious food, chill atmosphere, affordable prices, and FREE WIFI (it’s the little things ?), I’ve become a regular.
This cafe is a MUST VISIT during the day for a quick bite or full breakfast… and, I can’t wait to check out the tapas and bar at night.
EDIT: I was shocked to see the 1 and 2 star reviews referencing poor service. That *may have* been an issue (not convinced) but it certainly isn’t true now. The staff is QUICK to attend to every guest even when busy. They often beat me to the counter before I’m fully inside the door.“

“Lovely place right in JP for a Spanish tapas without having to go downtown if you live in the area. All the food is great including the patatas bravas drink selection. There’s also a store down below! Smaller space so definitely gets crowded. Reservations are always helpful and the patio was cute in the summer.“

“Stopped by for tapas after the immersive King Tut exhibit at SoWa, moments before they closed to prep for dinner. Amazing Sangria. Delicious tapas options. You have to try the cuttlefish dish. We will be back for paella! ❤️❤️❤️“

“I love this establishment. The staff are so attentive and give such good recommendations. The food is excellent: fresh, flavorful, complex. It feels like a mixology bar. The tapas are out of this world (see photos). If you’re in eastie and want to feel accepted by the locals go and order some shots. Best night ever.“

“My husband and I hadn't had beignets since a trip to New Orleans. That and a very positive Boston Globe review drew us to Buttermilk & Bourbon. We ate outside on the patio; the day was beautiful; the food delicious. We enjoyed the beignets, watermelon salad, pouched eggs, yuzu sorbet and lemon ice cream. We highly recommend it.“

“Not too bad of a place. This was the second time we been there. This time we order the Lava Steak plate. I order my steam medium rare, which it was probably cooked right, but its served on a hot cast iron plate, which is very hot and continues to cook the steak. By the time I started eating it 1/2 of it was well done and the other 1/2 medium. My recommendation to management DO NOT PUT the steak on hot plate.
Parking: Parking was easy to find.“

“This place is amazing. Everything. We flew in and were so tired but it was my husbands bday so we had to get brunch… I’ve never had better pancakes, Benedict, avocado/salmon toast, bacon & egg sandwich… 5 stars for service, atmosphere and cuisine! We’ll be back and you should too!“

“Multiple pizzas, and fried mozzarella and meatballs were all delicious. Server was very attentive (which is unusual in this state), and kitchen staff worked efficiently. Very pleasantly impressed with my dining experience. Better pizza than a lot of places in the North End. I’ll be returning. Highly recommend.“

“I’d definitely return if I’m in the area. Large menu. Strong and generous drinks (fog martini, Mai Tai, sangria). Fresh ingredients. We four only had small plates: Greek salad, spanakopita, fried calamari, short rib, chicken souvlaki, Italian truffle fries. Food was pretty tasty. It was average price with average portion size. We ended with ekmek (birds nest, pastry cream and pastachios) - portion was small for the price, the pastry bottom was soggy and not what I was expecting. Give this a miss. Fancy decor.

“I went here a couple of years ago before the new upgrade. It was good then and it’s even better now! The atmosphere is great. Service is so quick and attentive. Great waitress. The food is so tasty. I wish I could have eaten more! The DRINKS are 10/10. Soooo fun and well presented. Definitely will come back.“

“Best Spanish tapas in Seaport. This place made its way onto my radar like a silent killer. Puts Barcelona (if you know the chain) to shame. Been twice now, and every dish I have ordered has exceeded expectations. The staff is terrific, the atmosphere is great. Eating with family, friends or a date night, this place won’t miss.“

“Gustazo's is such a winner when it comes to food, drinks and staff interactions. Cannot say enough good things about it. There's a lot of seating, but it can get really noisy. Still -- we all had a fantastic experience -- worth the trip.“

“So glad I discovered this place! Delicious tapas, great drinks, excellent service, and a lovely atmosphere. The authenticity of this restaurant is so nice. I highly recommend trying it! The shishito peppers, patatas bravas, braised beef flatbread, and garlic shrimp are delicious. We also had a special lamb empanada which was baked freshly and absolutely to die for! Will certainly be back!!“

“We are in Cambridge for a few nights and found Dali being a restaurant nearby. It turned out to be an unexpected surprise. Luckily we made reservation as the restaurant was packed. The menu was extensive; the service was friendly; the meal was served quickly and delicious and the atmosphere was great. We ordered 4 tapas plus an order of focaccia and a bottle of wine. All come to less than $100 not including tips. A must try in Cambridge, MA.“

“HANDS DOWN the best Italian food I've ever eaten! Even the drinks were to die for, and I rarely drink. I had a Key Lime Pie martini, and a Pistachio martini...SO good! I drove down from Concord, New Hampshire for a girls night. We're planning another here soon! Give Venetian Moon a try, and be sure to ask to be seated in Louise's section. He was outstanding!!“

“The food was very good and they accommodated our needs. One person in our party has a gluten allergy and the waitress was pretty careful regarding cross contamination. We shared 8-10 small plates which was plenty for 4 of us. It was not very busy and was quiet which was nice. They have booths, tables, a nice bar and an eating area that overlooks the kitchen. There was also outside dining. I was surprised to find that the restaurant is in the Hilton hotel.“

“Great place to enjoy some Spanish food! Great ambience, our hostess was kind enough to answer all our questions and make us comfortable it being our first time! They have a good set of vegan and vegetarian options. Unique drinks menu too! Would definitely recommend the place!
Vegetarian options: Good vegetarian options but would recommend explicitly stating if eggs are okay to the host / hostess.“

“I've been here twice, and this is easily my new favorite date night spot. The first visit we sat upstairs at the bar. The bartender was incredibly knowledgeable about the entire drink menu, and offered great suggestions.
My second visit was downstairs at the piano bar. The atmosphere is excellent, and the 2 performers we saw (Rebecca Soul Duo & Sonny Barbato Duo) were extremely talented. What a pleasure to listen to! My husband and I ordered drinks, appetizers, and entrees. For those with food allergies, I found the server to be knowledgeable and attentive, and when unsure asked the chef directly. The menu was clearly marked for Vegetarian, Vegan, and Gluten Free. I can't eat dairy or gluten so this was very helpful to me! I ordered the Tofu Makaam (pictured) which was absolutely delicious. For dessert, I had the Taro & Sticky Rice (also pictured) which was very flavorful. My husband (no allergies) enjoyed the Shrimp Potstickers, Grilled Lemongrass Wagyu, and Tripe Chocolate Cake for dessert.
Overall I highly recommend trying Hobgoblin, there is a vibe for everyone!
Dietary restrictions: The menu was clearly marked for Vegetarian, Vegan, and Gluten Free“

“Don’t have any pictures of this place but it’s a fairly nice environment. A great place for a first date or somewhere more intimate. The place itself is fairly large for a speakeasy so if you want that vibe but do not have a reservation then I recommend here. The cocktail menu is fairly average but enjoyable and the appetizers were great quality and easy to share.“

“If you are into Mezcal, this might be a good place to try out. The bar is located downstairs. There is a small outdoor seating area. The cocktails are well executed though they are pricey compared to the small glasses they are served in. I was a little bit on the fence with the food. In general, the food was a little bit rich for my taste. Too much oil, too much mayonnaise, etc. I think what I was missing was freshness. We also tried the special, effectively tuna sashimi, which was excellent. We also tried the grasshoppers which were crunchy but effectively the only thing you taste is the spicy seasoning. Cute but can be skipped. The staff was very friendly and proactive.“

“The pizza I order was not pizza at all. It was all thick bread with sauce and cheese. It wasn’t even close to call that a pizza. Also, watch out the optional kitchen fee. They put it there without asking you first. What’s going on with those fees?“
“Located directly off the lobby, this welcoming bar reminds me of being in a swanky living room where you settle in and enjoy good food and conversation. The seared diver scallops with curry carrots was tasty and flavorful. Service was attentive and it was a great place to catch up with friends after a day of exploring Boston.“

“I came here for dinner this week and loved it! To start, we had the whipped ricotta which was really delicious. For our main, we split the prosciutto and pear pizza. The pizza was just the right amount for 2 people, and the crust was perfectly crisp. The ambience of the restaurant is also really great. Would definitely go back here.“
“German Grill was really good...one of the best brats I've ever had! Paired with the Jack's Dark (or two ðŸ˜) was a good meal. German potato salad was a bit lacking...not much more than boiled, partially mashed potatoes. Cabbage and kraut were tasty. Quick walk from my hotel (~5 minutes) and was the best option outside of Chinatown. Suum Cuique indeed, but I'm good with Jacob Wirth"s!“
