“I have been going here since I was a little girl. After about a ten year gap due to moving we came back near home and George’s was one of my first stops last summer. My husband and I faithfully drive one hour weekly to get a lobster roll and some clam cakes and strips. This place does not disappoint and I am counting down the weeks until they reopen in March.“
“The first time I went to visit the Redwood was the early 80s; it's now known as George's Surf and Turf. I had never had an eastern fried whole clam and scallop basket before. Now it's all I can think about, I have not found anywhere in the United States, Europe or Mexico that can compare itself to the Redwood, George's Surf and Turf.I have since settled in Texas but I want to go back to Mendon's Redwood, George's Surf and Turf just for a Combination calm and scallop basket and lots of their tarter sauce... no fries, although tasty is not my interest.I might just go back next summer, 2024.To bad Redwood, George's Surf and Turf doesn't ship to Texas.Parking: Great parking, if anyone complains it is because they're too bitter and want to share it with strangers.“
“The charm of past. The service and friendly atmosphere of the past and the best steak tips to prepare at home or deli sandwiches aroundIf you are tired, frustrated or nostalgic for the past this will warm your heart. If your having a BBQ gathering, grab their steak tips and be the admired chef. I a certain the other meats are also great and I go there often enough to think of trying something else but even I, as bad as a cook I am cannot make those tips taste bad .“
“One of our favorite hidden gems. The food, service, and people are all amazing. The only thing we wish we could have as an improvement was a location closer to our home. Whenever we are in the area, we try to visit and are never disappointed. Whether it's the specials, lobster bisque, or the Portuguese Steak, you honestly cannot go wrong. If I could give Lucky Dog 10 stars, I would!“
“Thought the waiter was top notch, we had 14 people in our party, a few provided feedback on what they ordered. The fish tacos were underwhelming, lacked flavor as did the chicken Marcello which was very bland. The fish and chips were a big surprise, large portion of fish, rather than the typical large portion of fries! My seafood with angle hair pasta was good, but a bit too much oil, and scollops were slightly over cooked, but I would order it again.“
“We had gone out to dinner before going to Black, so I cannot say anything about the food, but I would imagine it is very good!Sarah was working behind the bar and was so wonderful and she has a great voice singing, as well.We had a great time!“
“Loved this place and will go back next time I'm in the area (most likely will be for another soccer tournament.)I had the Fire & Ice Bowl, which was amazing. Add the salmon.Started with the french onion soup, which was also delicious, but it was a mistake because I couldn't finish my meal afterwards.Definitely worth a visit.“
“The food is always great! Very casual, busy restaurant and bar. The staff are always friendly. They have an amazing seafood chowder. Their fried seafood or prime rib are my favorites from them. They often have great specials including smelts! Highly recommend checking them out!“
“We have dined here many times, but hadn't been in a while. We made a reservation and requested to sit in the bar area. We were so happy as the table was reserved when we got there. The food, drinks, and our server were all excellent. I have never had a bad meal here or walked away thinking we should have gone elsewhere. We will be back soon.“
“Had lunch with family here. Heard the fish and chips were good. Brother and SIL order it and raved about it. Looked good. I had a chopped salad with a scoop of chicken salad on top. It was OK. Service was quick and friendly. Decor was typical diner. They serve breakfast all day which is good. Only take cash, but have an ATM inside.Parking: In a strip mall. Plenty of parking.“
“Small but mighty. Unassuming little spot that serves fresh, delicious food. Service was great with our large group. The guacamole was the best I have ever had in a restaurant that wasn't in California or Texas. Margaritas are large and strong!“
“Yesterday I celebrated my birthday in Los Cabos, I want to emphasize that everything went well, however there are small details that could be improved to provide a 5-star service.I made the reservation for 11 people a week in advance, despite this, when we arrived we had to wait a couple of minutes to prepare the table. The waiter took our drink order but forgot to give us the glasses of water, which took about 15 minutes. One of my friends brought a cake and although it is true that I eat slowly, the waiter arrived with the cake when I had not finished dinner yet and I had to let them take my plate. As is common in restaurants to offer a candle for the cake, my friend didn't bring one but the restaurant didn't have a candle either, so singing the birthday didn't make much sense. Finally and as a recommendation, I think it would be a better experience if you wear a mariachi hat for the birthday child or do something more fun when singing. For all these reasons, I rated my experience as 4 stars since the food was delicious, it's a shame I didn't finish my dinner.“
“This is not far from me as i live in whitinsville, and I've been here a handful of times and never been disappointed! Usually get a quick snack driving by like fried pickles or oreos but was in the mood for something different and saw their specials for tacos! Yum! And wow was i impressed! Was absolutely delicious, and I'll definitely be going back again for them, if they are still available ?“
“Typical Chinese American fare. Decent portions. Clean restaurant. My only complaint is that the Crab Rangoon is on the sweet side, and I prefer them more savory. Since that's a personal preference, though, I don't think it fair to take points off for it.“
“The chicken parm is phenomenal. Had a bite of the eggplant parm which was also delicious. They serve bread with some weird bean puree that looks like it might want to be Hummus but definitely is not. Bread is excellent. Weird bean puree stuff is decidedly NOT. Other than that I highly recommend.“
“This is a great spot many do not know about. They offer an all you can eat chicken family bundle, which serves salad, pasta and broasted chicken. The salad is basic, the pasta is decent, but the chicken. That's where this place shines. It's not only delicious, but it will keep you coming back for more and more. The fish here too is also something to note. My wife is very picky with fish, and she loved it here! It also comes broasted which kept it light and fluffy. The bar here is also great. They make a great espresso martini.Overall, this place is priced extremely well for both food and alcohol, is kept clean, and the staff always treats you like family..I wish more places in the world took after this establishment.“
“I agree with the positive reviews, I don't know where the negative reviews are coming from. I've gone a few times and the last time did not disappoint. I have my turkey dinner. The flavors were out of this world with the stuffing and the mashed potatoes and the cranberry sauce. I asked for a roll, and the bread was really good, and then i ordered a salad which was very good as well. I had Michelle as a server, and she was very pleasant. So I've been going since I was a little girl and I'm in my 50s now closer to 60 and I've never had a problem.“
“We were in the area today (1/13/24) and found this restaurant online. The atmosphere was a flashback to the diners of old, which we loved. The food was good as well. What really impressed us was the server. This young lady was the best server we have had in many years.“
“Bamboo Express has now ownership and is one of my go to's for local Chinese food. The young lady behind the counter is very friendly as she is usually multitasking. They do a lot of takeout and delivery. Some of their food is phenomenal like the Egg Foo Young, Kung Pao Chicken, Orange Chicken, Beef and Mushrooms. Their appetizers are pretty solid. Egg Rolls are the cabbage type. I'm more of an old school celery based type. Hot and Sour Soup has nice flavor but sometimes I need to add a little heat. Overall it is a solid takeout restaurant. I have not dined in since the new management. I do recommend!“
“Seasonal restaurant that has good fried seafood, especially the shrimp, scallops and fish. Lobster rolls (hot with butter or cold with a little mayo), and crab rolls that are delicious! Delicious chowders, especially the seafood chowder that has lobster, shrimp, fish, clam and is soooo good! They have daily lunch specials and food for the non seafood loving population. Awesome chili cheese dogs! Huge ice cream selection. Classic drinks like a raspberry lime rickey or root beer floats. Restaurant is always clean. The staff is friendly. You can pay with a card but bring cash to tip. Those behind the counter work hard. Especially the ice cream scooping, multitasking, order taking and grabbing counter staff. Kitchen has always been consistent for the years I've been going. Indoor and outdoor seating. Definitely recommend!“
“I've picked up food here twice for my wife. The proportions blew me away for takeout. Great tasting food, positive and friendly faces at the door. I love the joke that happens when I walk in to pay for the order, haha. I'm almost certain the dining in is 100x better than takeout. One of these days, we will find out. 10/10 recommend.Kid-friendliness: Family establishment, plenty of space, and the littles would enjoy it, hopefully (:Wheelchair accessibility: Yes, there are no steps to get in. It has a covered ramped walkway.“
