The food was incredibly cheap. I ordered two snack rolls thinking they would be small. I was wrong. One alone is a meal. Everything I had was delicious. By far, however, the highlight of my experience was my server. The girl with the orange hair was attentive, kind, and suggested the menu items I tried. “We had a truly delightful experience at Pomona Cafe. The service was lovely, the food was excellent, and the atmosphere was so inviting and comfortable. The place has been lovingly remodeled and it feels like somewhere else. The handcrafted woodwork is beautiful and the high ceilings and large windows make the space feel airy and calm. The mussels and gambas (shrimp) were both beautifully cooked and we could have dunked a loaf of bread in each sauce. The salmon was bright and beautifully paired with perfectly cooked asparagus and spinach , the bolognese was also very good as well as the chicken limon. We shared a delicious and not-too-sweet pistachio cheesecake dessert that was very satisfying. The ONLY possible negative would be the bread. All of those delicious sauces need a worthy vehicle! We will definitely be going back.“

“Obsessed with their smoothies. I’m a loyal customer who frequently visits. The major issue I have is they are unwilling to share the nutritional value of the smoothies. I track my macros and calories and have done my own back end assumptions based on what I order but it would be really helpful if they provided the facts. I’ve asked several times and I get different answers on the amount of protein fat etc as a health food shop they should provide this. Again the food itself is excellent. If anyone finds the nutrition value please do let me know!“

If we could make a recommendation, instead of ginger and cinnamon, add pumpkin spice (cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves) to the pumpkin smoothie for more of a pumpkin pie taste.“

“pressed cafe was definitely a pleasant surprise. by the end of the meal, we knew we had made a good choice. although it’s part of a larger chain, the quality of the food feels consistently well managed.

I really appreciated the extensive and wholesome menu, especially the dedicated vegetarian and vegan selections. they offer a variety of plant-based meat alternatives, so there are plenty of protein options to choose from.

I ordered one of their veggie burgers, and it was genuinely satisfying. the mac and cheese on the side was creamy and enjoyable, though it could have used a bit more flavor. still, I liked its overall taste.

the portions of their dishes may look small at first, but don’t be fooled. the meal was surprisingly filling and left me completely satisfied.

overall, this is the kind of comforting brunch spot i’d happily return to. I only wish I had more opportunities to visit.“

“I decided to stop in for lunch and try their Peru bowl with grilled chicken. The woman who took my order was very friendly and kind and I really enjoyed the atmosphere. Unfortunately I found that the value for my meal did not match the cost. I had a medium iced tea and a Peru bowl with grilled chicken and my total came out to be over 28 dollars! Below is the bowl I ordered minus a bite. For 20+ dollars for a bowl I do not expect to be served onion butts as seen in my photo. The garbanzo beans weren’t seasoned or marinated, the lime vinaigrette while nice was barely present. The quinoa, chicken, avocado were all very fresh and tasted great. The salsa was pretty good. Overall I was disappointed by the serving size, lack of flavor, and lack of attention to detail by serving the butt of an onion. Their customer service was great and I enjoyed the ambiance so I would give it another try but I am hesitant to return just because of the lack of value compared to other places that serve bowls.“
