“10/10 consistently amazing food every single time we’ve eaten in or gotten take out. Hadn’t been in nearly ten years but decided to try it out after hearing about new ownership and a new menu and woooooow. Might be a different vibe than the previous incarnation of the restaurant,
but I personally think all of the changes are an extreme improvement. Prices seem high but the portions are excellent and you really get what you pay for in terms of quality. Likewise — maybe not as “fancy,” but the high grade of food and the menu selection fills the hole that True Bistro in Somerville left behind when they closed.

“We stumbled upon Half & Half while searching for a place to get breakfast and stopped in with our 2 yo. Very cute interior with a friendly staff and delicious food. My wife absolutely loved her avocado toast with eggs and my breakfast sandwich was perfectly grilled. We ordered chocolate chip pancakes for our son who also chomped on my home fries and fresh fruit from my wife’s plate. The person who waited on us (the owner?) was exceptionally friendly and stopped off to talk through all of the various types of butter on the table (no, seriously, like four different kinds and all equally amazing!). We will definitely be back for lunch — and more butter.“

“The pizza I order was not pizza at all. It was all thick bread with sauce and cheese. It wasn’t even close to call that a pizza. Also, watch out the optional kitchen fee. They put it there without asking you first. What’s going on with those fees?“

“There’s not enough good things I can say about these guys. Not only is their food delicious but they are the nicest people I’ve ever encountered in a pizza shop. They are always happy to accommodate and their flavor is always top tier! “Notch Brewing is a great day drinking spot especially on a nice day. They have a nice outdoor area with benches where you can enjoy your beer and food. The sausage sandwich was good. Nice combo of flavors. The pretzel was your standard pretzel. The beers are served in big glasses/mugs so be ready to drink. Food is limited to shared bites. They do not have extensive menu so eat before or after you come. Cool spot if you are into beers.“

“Having a good friend who is Greek and a fabulous cook, I am very critical of Greek food. Everyone loved their meals, there were 5 of us. I had the lamb, which was delicious, and I couldn't say anything negative. We will definitely go back again and this has now become one of our favorite restaurants!“

“This was an awesome experience-the atmosphere is casually elegant with midnight blue walls illuminated with candles and greenery. We had the 9 course option and not knowing what would be coming next just added to the adventurous feeling. The courses were comprised of small complex creations that were paired with different wines…each dish was presented with an explanation of what was in it and how it was made. They were well timed to come out just as we were finishing the previous one. The food was aromatic and fresh and innovative. All the servers were professional and pleasant. This was just so much fun-I give it a 10/10 and would recommend it to anyone looking for a new dining experience.“

“I can’t say enough great things about The Babe! Our food was excellent, and the atmosphere was fantastic. I had the Mr. Falafel sandwich, and I was still talking about it days later! It was so good—perfectly balanced flavors with just the right amount of tzatziki sauce (heavenly), all wrapped up in a soft wrap. The one recommendation I would make would be to cut the falafels into four pieces just to make it easier to eat. But to be honest, it didn’t stop me from devouring the whole thing, and I will be back to eat another one! But it will be a tossup—do I get the truffle burger or do I get another Mr. Falafel? My boyfriend got the Reuben, and he said it was incredible as well! Our bartender was fantastic—so friendly, knowledgeable, and rocking these awesome little heart glasses. She really knew her stuff when it came to cocktails. They actually serve orange Combier, which I feel is the cream of the crop for making the best margarita! She made us a fantastic margarita, and I also had another drink with grapefruit (I don’t remember the name), but it was delicious too! We sat at the bar and had the chance to meet one of the owners, who was so friendly and kind. The whole place has such a welcoming vibe, and I can only imagine how fun it must be when they have live music. I really can’t wait to go back!!“

“My wife and I were in Wakefield to purchase car and when we were finished we realized we had not eaten all day. We found this gem of a diner. The waitress was very friendly and attentive. The food was outstanding. I started with the beef stew. it was excellent. It was not to salty, you could tell it was homemade the flavor brought me back to childhood. My wife started with the chicken and rice soup which she said was also fantastic, once again not to salty. I had the hot turkey sandwich with gravy. The gravy was outstanding. My wife had the teriyaki chicken stir-fry which was delicious. We needed the meal by brining home 6 raisin oatmeal cookies. I would highly recommend North Ave. Diner if you are in the area.“

“Free parking in the rear! This spot does not disappoint. Great pizza and feet selection on pasta and others. The spaghetti and meatballs don’t disappoint, the lobster ravioli was also exceptional. The best part of this is well the customer service first and foremost. What’s a close second is the complimentary rolls with oil cheese and dried peppers. We were also lucky enough for the staff to bring us ricotta cheese balls on the house! Staff was super friendly with the kids also so that is always a plus.“
