“My husband and I visit the Apple Barn Cafe every time we are in the area, which we make a point to be. Wonderful family. . Very accommodating! The whole family, to include their cousins, add to the atmosphere with their great smiles and their desire to serve you the best food in the area. Suzanne knows how to cook, believe me. The hash is to die for! Really, I would have to mention almost everything on their menus because they are all favorites. We try and pick something different whenever we are there. We have never been disappointed. This Christmas season I need to revisit their holiday specials. Between the food, and the beautiful countryside of Brimfield, you will be glad you went. We will be back.“

“The best “productive” coffee shop for study & work in the area. The atmosphere/vibes are satisfied (especially upstairs), along with library like silence upstairs and exceptional service, I love it. The quality of their food and lattes didn’t quite meet my expectations for a third string coffee shop but it was still fine overall. I’m eager to tell my friends and come back here for productive studying :)“
“The Gin Mill is exactly what you're looking for, if you want a local dive bar with some distinctly interesting and unique characteristics. Read the other reviews and you'll get the right idea. They make a pretty decent home-style fried burger for a few bucks -- exactly what I needed and vastly superior to a fast food burger. Not gourmet by any stretch but better than I expected. I'd be happy to return. (BTW, there's virtually no AT&T data connectivity in this locale, so don't go there counting on it.)“

“If you’re anywhere in the area, this little unassuming cafe is an absolute must.To start, Laura—who it seems typically opens in the morning—had my order memorized like I was a years-long regular after just a single visit. I waltzed in just after opening (7:05), hoping not to be “that guy” that walks in super early while she’s trying to do her side work. She assured me that all was good, and that I was more than welcome. She virtually started making my breakfast before I even ordered. Wow.Next, the food. The FOOD. The COFFEE. Some of the best savory all-American comfort breakfast food I’ve had, genuinely. I’m a coffee snob, and I like mine on the sweeter side. They nail it with their caramel lattes (at least Laura does). The atmosphere is a very warm-toned rustic feel, so it almost comes off as if you’re sitting in someone’s living room. At the center of the room is a few sofas and a table, to boot.Again, if you’re anywhere near VS&C, pop on in. You won’t regret it.“

“A great little place for breakfast or lunch! They are open until 1 every day except Sunday when they close at 12:30. The service is great! My order was out quickly considering how busy the restaurant was. There aren't a lot of tables, but there always seems to be one available when you go in. The burgers are fantastic, as well as their breakfasts. The prices are very reasonable as well. Check out the mug 'n' muffin, you will not be disappointed!“
