“Truly one of the best breakfast/sandwich shops in the area. I used to live in Amherst around 7 years ago and miss this place so much but got to stop in this weekend after a long hiatus. The breakfast sandwiches on a roll are so satisfying and the matcha is really tasty. Almost everything here is. Don’t skip the baked goods. And go look at their salt and pepper shaker collection.“
“This spot was a happy pleasant surprise. If you're looking for a hearty American breakfast, this is not your spot, and that is a very good thing. Instead of the usual truck stop or diner fare, Upper Bend offers a carefully curated selection of delicious alternatives and artful spins on the usual breakfast menu.I had a latte and maple toast. My hubs had the monkfish toast, and we split a slab of basque cheesecake because, well, we were feeling decadent for brekkies. The latte was excellent, bold and strong, but smooth. The maple toast was perfect, because it was simple: crisp crust, soft center, and a solid maple flavor that was pleasantly not sticky sweet. The monkfish toast was amazing, like a reimagined lox bagel. The bread, pickled onions and greens all brought different levels of crunch, with the cream cheese adding a slightly sour base and the monkfish bringing a buttery mouth-feel.I don't regret getting the basque cheesecake at all. It was delicious. The center was light and custardy, while the outer edge had a more spongy cake texture, almost like two desserts in one. And it was lightly sweetened, not the instant diabetes norm for cheesecakes these days. Perfect.I'll definitely be back to nibble my way through the rest of the menu.“
“Went with my extended family for a dinner and walked away full and happy. The menu is meant to be shared and I recommend trying everything if you have a larger group. The drinks are quite good as well. Will definitely check this place out again in the summer.“
“Best Donut shop in Franklin County! Any time I'm in Greenfield I try to stop here, especially on the weekends or when they have cute and tasty specialties happening. Is it a little more expensive than a grocery store donut or a Dunkies donut? Yes, but you're paying for a hand made, fresh donut that's not unthawed once it reaches the store and you're supporting a local business. The staff has always been super friendly and goes out of their way to greet you when you step into the door.“
“We go there few times a year on our way to the Berkshires. The corner we used to sit in is closed to expand the kitchen, actually it was closed since last summer. The place gets too crowded now, you can't enjoy sipping on coffee or having a bite.“
“We've been a couple of times to Bittersweet Bakery, and our party of three or four have always been happy. Today we came maybe half an hour before they closed, and they were super nice about letting us know that they will be locking the door at closing time while we are there, but we were told that we shouldn't feel rushed. Our food has been excellent every time we've gone. Very fresh ingredients and really nice breakfast sandwiches. I vow to try one of the coffees if I get there earlier in the day ... It's a lovely place with some unusual food and coffees and ... quite frankly ... if we are nice to the behind-the-counter workers, they are always nice to us. Not gonna gripe about the prices (after all, I'm the one who decided to COME TO THIS PLACE) ... all I know is it's a nice place that's a little different from the other places I like for food/coffee in the area. I'm glad they're here, and I seem to have no problem getting along with the people who are working here -- they seem pretty nice to me.“
“So we use Pierce Bros./Fogbuster in our cafeteria here at Naugatuck Valley Community College and I can’t not pour myself a cup every morning when I brew a pot. It’s so much more fragrant and delicious than any other name brand coffee that I’ve ever had. It’s my new gift for all the coffee drinkers in my life.“
“Great shop! Love the wide windows and high top tables facing them. Very pretty and not overwhelming inside! The cortado was one of the best I've ever had, fruity, complex, flavorful, and Soo espressoey! The drip was alright. Advertised as a light roast but tasted a little burnt/baggy.Didn't get to try any of the food but it all looks (and smells ?) great.Got a bag of decaf I'm excited to try at home!Staff was very friendly too :D“
“Honestly this place isn’t too bad just depends who’s working and the time of day for what kind of experience you’ll have.Wheelchair accessibility: It is considered wheelchair accessible however I’d say it’s rather narrow and may be difficult to get to the register if in wheelchair.“
“Came here for a quick lunch on a Sunday afternoon. Had a fairly short wait time to order and managed to find seating without much issue. The line did pick up a bit while we were there, and they don't have a ton of seating, so your mileage may vary Biggest plus for me right off the bat was the variety of cold brew options they had. Most places just have the one option, but it seems every hot coffee available can also be made as cold brew. The nitro pumpkin cold brew seemed like it would be the most difficult to find elsewhere so I tried that. It passed the common drawback of nitros by not being over the top with bitterness or acidity. The pumpkin flavor was lighter than I hoped for, but they get a ton of credit for having so many options. They have a big food menu, keep breakfast available all day, and have a few less traditional bagel options. All also major positives in my eyes! I went for a sausage egg and cheese on a sun dried tomato bagel. Nothing ground breaking quality wise but absolutely hit the spot on what I was looking for. Overall, this is exactly what I'd hope for in a neighborhood coffee shop and wish more places like it were available around the country! Highly recommend if you're in the area and in need of a coffee shop or quick bite“
“I like a very specific coffee a latte from Dunkin donuts and I get it hot I always get a large but I asked for it in an extra large cup for extra whipped cream and I always get it just how I want it I've never been turned down or told that that I'll have to buy an extra large in order to get the cup and that's what keeps me going to Dunkin donutsParking: Greenfield Massachusetts Federal Street and Mohawk trail I do use both however I prefer the Mohawk trail the coffee is usually hotter I get a specialty latte, caramel craze and they never have a problem making it just the way I like it so thumbs up ?Kid-friendliness: They are always kind and friendly to my granddaughter whenever she is with me truly appreciate that at every location I've ever been toWheelchair accessibility: I'm not sure if it's worth your accessible as I wasn't with anybody with any handicap but I will look into it next time“
“I don’t leave reviews, especially for chain establishments, but I have to say this Dunkin’s deserves it. I’ll start by adding that this experience is only from drive in and mobile order, I can’t testify to the experience of sitting down or lounging. Regardless, staff is extremely friendly, they provide active customer service that is not apathetic like many drive thru spots. The food and drink is always great. And the biggest thing is how efficient and timely they are, especially for drive thru. Great place in a pinch, if you aren’t getting paid decently above min wage as of Feb 2024, exercise some collective bargaining because it’s well deserved.“
“The Lady Killigrew Cafe offers a serene escape with its beautiful waterfall backdrop, perfect for lazy afternoons or relaxed Sundays. While the food simple, the quality ingredients shine through, making it a pleasant stop for a casual bite.“
