“Presentation and quality of food was amazing! I had a half southwest omelet and a smoothie which was perfect for breakfast/brunch. Staff are very friendly and helpfulParking: Plenty of parking in the central town lot and behind CVS.Kid-friendliness: They had books and other sturdy toys available for kids to entertain themselves“
“Finally had the chance to go here and it’s everything I’d hope it’d be. Super friendly staff, good parking, great atmosphere! Since I live an hour away I had to try a little of everything breakfast lunch and even took something for dinner lol. Breakfast sandwich was perfect lunch sandwich was also great. Can’t wait to come back!“
“Great place to grab breakfast. Unfortunately I found the coffee (an Americano with three shots) rather bitter. Eggs Benedict was fantastic, but they serve it with salad, which for me detracted from the dish (something more savory would be better). Food and drink are ordered at the counter and delivered to your table. Very nice settling.“
“Truly one of the best breakfast/sandwich shops in the area. I used to live in Amherst around 7 years ago and miss this place so much but got to stop in this weekend after a long hiatus. The breakfast sandwiches on a roll are so satisfying and the matcha is really tasty. Almost everything here is. Don’t skip the baked goods. And go look at their salt and pepper shaker collection.“
“This spot was a happy pleasant surprise. If you're looking for a hearty American breakfast, this is not your spot, and that is a very good thing. Instead of the usual truck stop or diner fare, Upper Bend offers a carefully curated selection of delicious alternatives and artful spins on the usual breakfast menu.I had a latte and maple toast. My hubs had the monkfish toast, and we split a slab of basque cheesecake because, well, we were feeling decadent for brekkies. The latte was excellent, bold and strong, but smooth. The maple toast was perfect, because it was simple: crisp crust, soft center, and a solid maple flavor that was pleasantly not sticky sweet. The monkfish toast was amazing, like a reimagined lox bagel. The bread, pickled onions and greens all brought different levels of crunch, with the cream cheese adding a slightly sour base and the monkfish bringing a buttery mouth-feel.I don't regret getting the basque cheesecake at all. It was delicious. The center was light and custardy, while the outer edge had a more spongy cake texture, almost like two desserts in one. And it was lightly sweetened, not the instant diabetes norm for cheesecakes these days. Perfect.I'll definitely be back to nibble my way through the rest of the menu.“
“First time here. Hands down the best doughnut shop. If you haven't been here before, you need to be here. Independent business is the best business. I am a HUGE supporter of local businesses. The atmosphere is awesome. The staff is great. Best cup of coffee and doughnut I've had in a long time.“
“Went into this quaint establishment for the first time today and was greeted by the kind, awesome, and blunt personality of Melissa, the owner. As soon I started talking to her, I knew she was the life of the party. She is funny and personable. I felt like a friend immediately. The donkey burrito I had was delicious and I also throughly enjoyed the bang bang sauce. The food was crave worthy and the coffee hit the spot, but I won't be coming back just for that. Melissa embodies the way small business should be, comfortable and inviting. I will be going back to support her and her outstanding business again. I'm glad you are part of this amazing town!(Also - side note - you can play PAC-Man for free inside.)“
“Excellent location convenient , bright , sunny and big! Seating inside and out. I went there today close to closing and they were out of their popular whole grains so I got myself a treat and even asked for a coffee suggestion as I normally drink black. Awesome latte and the girl was so kind and helpful !No wonder Tandem is going strong in the valley!“
“Went with my extended family for a dinner and walked away full and happy. The menu is meant to be shared and I recommend trying everything if you have a larger group. The drinks are quite good as well. Will definitely check this place out again in the summer.“
“OMG There is overpriced and then there is insult to injury. $7.25 for a 2 shot latte is just insane, and according to your menu board makes no sense since a 2 shot large latte is 6.2?. The place was packed so maybe I am just insane. The latte was warm and had bubbles in the milk. Teach your employees how to think outside the box when charging , all that had to be done was ring up a large latte and note 12 ounce cup.“
“We've been a couple of times to Bittersweet Bakery, and our party of three or four have always been happy. Today we came maybe half an hour before they closed, and they were super nice about letting us know that they will be locking the door at closing time while we are there, but we were told that we shouldn't feel rushed. Our food has been excellent every time we've gone. Very fresh ingredients and really nice breakfast sandwiches. I vow to try one of the coffees if I get there earlier in the day ... It's a lovely place with some unusual food and coffees and ... quite frankly ... if we are nice to the behind-the-counter workers, they are always nice to us. Not gonna gripe about the prices (after all, I'm the one who decided to COME TO THIS PLACE) ... all I know is it's a nice place that's a little different from the other places I like for food/coffee in the area. I'm glad they're here, and I seem to have no problem getting along with the people who are working here -- they seem pretty nice to me.“
“The Lady Killigrew Cafe offers a serene escape with its beautiful waterfall backdrop, perfect for lazy afternoons or relaxed Sundays. While the food simple, the quality ingredients shine through, making it a pleasant stop for a casual bite.“
“One of my favorites of all time. Their croissants and cookies are to die for and their baristas make really great drinks. I don’t drink but I hear the bar is wonderful as well at night. I used to come in late at night in college and order a pot of tea and study or read. It’s been a couple years since I’ve been back and I love the newly renovated space but also miss the old space and it’s cozy vibe.“
“This is an amazing Dunkin Donuts.. the 2 girls that mostly work there.. Giovanna and Paola are extremely nice, as well as fast and efficient. They are faster than the location with a drive thru.. I can't say enough good things about them and the store!!Wheelchair accessibility: Easy to get in and out in a wheelchair“
“This location probably gives me the fastest service without sacrificing friendliness. The barista taking my order at the drive through, regardless of which day, is always very upbeat and polite. I don't get the chance to go here daily as I live a few towns away but it's definitely a nice treat when I'm in Athol. Very hard working staff! Thank you!“
“I don’t leave reviews, especially for chain establishments, but I have to say this Dunkin’s deserves it. I’ll start by adding that this experience is only from drive in and mobile order, I can’t testify to the experience of sitting down or lounging. Regardless, staff is extremely friendly, they provide active customer service that is not apathetic like many drive thru spots. The food and drink is always great. And the biggest thing is how efficient and timely they are, especially for drive thru. Great place in a pinch, if you aren’t getting paid decently above min wage as of Feb 2024, exercise some collective bargaining because it’s well deserved.“
