“Without any doubt, 5 out of 5 stars ?!

I recently had one of the most, if not the most, delicious pizzas in my life at Pizza By Rocco in Natick, Mass. Even though it may be considered a hidden gem, I doubt it will be considered a hidden gem for much longer as more and more people hear about it and try the food out for themselves!

Each time I have introduced a friend to Rocco's, every single one of them has said that this is some of the best pizza they've ever had.

The crust has that sweet thin crispy taste, and is cooked to perfection. The sauce always has just the right amount and also has a great taste. The toppings are always fresh, more than generous with the amount given, and expertly balanced. In fact, the pizzas and all of the food items in general are more than generous in terms of how much you're getting. In terms of ambiance, although the store is small it still has an inviting and cozy feel to it, and offers some seating outside. Last but certainly not least, the service is no doubt top shelf service. Everyone here is very friendly, attentive, and lightning-fast with their food preparation. Carol, who takes the orders, legitimately sets the very warm and welcoming tone right away with her effortless affability and enthusiastic aura and smile. Red, the pizza/food maker, is a master at his craft and is very personable too. As one can tell simply by the quality of the food, it is clear to see that Red takes his work seriously and is proficient at his job. All of the people who prepare the food here put their strongest efforts into the process; this is food that is made from a place of sincere love!

Rocco himself is at the shop quite often and he goes above and beyond with regards to looking out for his customers. This aspect was something that truly stood out to me about this place and sets Pizza By Rocco above all the rest for me personally. For example, Rocco is very genuine, and is an incredibly generous person and that generosity spills over into his work. His genuine personality is noticeable right away when you meet him. If a customer has any issue with anything, he makes sure to do whatever it takes to ensure said customer is taken care of and leaves the shop happy and satisfied. Not every store owner makes it a point to do things like that. It just goes to show that Rocco and his fellow workers really care about their customers, which is probably why the store has so many repeat and loyal customers.

The menu has your usual favorites/go-to items, but also has some fun and creative specialty options as well. The Buffalo Chicken thin crust pizza is extremely popular and a must try favorite! One of the specialty options that made a great impression on me was the "Typical Johnny," which can best be described as literally a "Big Mac" on a pizza. The only difference is that the Typical Johnny is even better and tastier than an actual Big Mac!

I cannot stress enough how much I recommend Pizza by Rocco for all the pizza lovers out there, and for those who like to support local businesses. I had such a great experience there that I have been back a bunch of times since my first visit. If you come here to try it out, I can guarantee you that you will be coming back for more. It is just *that* good!

“Cacao is a small cafe located in Newton Highlands, specializing in chocolate related confectionery and drinks.

We came in during the afternoon, and it was quite busy but the staff were very accommodating and knew the menu quite well, recommending some things to try out. They had a large assortment of pre-assembled goods to buy, such as chocolate covered nuts, as well as hot chocolate mix.

We tried the hot chocolate and the dulce de leche. The portion size was reasonable for the price, and the chocolate was pretty good. The hot chocolate was made primarily of dark chocolate, which isn't my favorite, but turned out to be a good choice as it cooled down and became more rich.

Overall, a great experience and would definitely come back to try again.“

“7th Wave is a great local brewery that has a good range of brews on hand. However, they also have some of the best pizza in the entire area. Great Neapolitan-style pizza, seriously. Been a fan for years and the beers have only improved.“

“Amazing accidental find on our part. We did not set out to find this amazing Argentinian empenada café, but we are so happy we did. There were over 20 different types of empenada still available that day with some varieties already sold out, vegetarian, beef, pork, and chicken; multiple types of each. Plus very friendly and accommodating staff and fast service. Food was delicious.“

“This is going to be a long one but the short of it? This place is a must-try! I visited with a group in the evening. The drink menu offers all the classic boba flavors you'd expect, along with some unique twists like a soda lemonade drink that was super refreshing on a hot day. It’s the perfect spot to catch up with friends, with plenty of seating, including cozy spots in the back if you want to get some work done as WiFi is available.
We weren’t planning to eat, but ended up ordering the popcorn chicken. It was the perfect snack. Later, we ordered their chicken teriyaki. The food is freshly made by the owner’s mother, which makes the whole experience feel extra special and fresh.
Beyond the food and drinks, this shop is full of surprises: handmade teas, press-on nails, and original artwork created by the owner, who is an incredible artist. You can purchase prints or postcards of their work, which adds such a personal and creative touch to the space. This is a family-owned gem with heart, flavor, and creativity. Most trails are lumpy with tree roots, so wear supportive shoes. I wouldn't take a residental-type wheel chair on the trails I walked, but an off-road one, with big tires would probably be fine.“

“I was lucky enough to try their take out on American New Years. Their fried chicken, Char Sui pork, fried pork dumplings, scallion pancake, and fried rice are served hot and are very tasty...fresh ingredients, well prepared. The beef skewers were very tasty. The exterior of their restaurant is painted a cheerful Rose Madder pink. They have wooden Chop sticks and sides of " plum sauce " or, as its also known as , " Duck sauce." I hope to return there soon. This is a popular Waltham Spot. I'm pretty sure ine can order online as well and through Uber, Grub Hub, and Door Dash.“

“As a Waltham local, this is my favorite bubble tea shop in town. My go-to drinks are the Wintermelon Milk Tea with Herbal Jelly and the Coco Cream WOW Milk Cap. I tried their Almond and Taro Milk Teas, but they tasted too powdery for my liking. They have a BOGO deal on Wednesdays which makes coming here even sweeter!“

“The food was alright, I got a chai tea latte, a bagel, snacking bacon and a bagel twist and they were all ok. The chai tea latte took 15 minutes to get and the snaking bacon quantity is less that other Dunkin's I have been too. The workers are polite and were very understanding about my displeasure with how long it took to get the latte. The place was clean for how busy it was and all the workers were doing their job.“

I also got to try the steak fajitas, which were fantastic—everyone in our group who ordered fajitas really enjoyed them too. We were celebrating a birthday, and our waitress went above and beyond—she surprised us with churros and a birthday candle. She was incredibly kind, attentive, and sweet, even though it looked like she was the only server at the time and also helping out at the bar. Despite that, she gave us great service.

We also loved the decoration, ambiance, and the music playing—it all added to the great vibe of the place. Would definitely come back!“
