“Pa Raffa's has the best thin crust pizza in New Bedford! The linguica is so delicious. Our new fave is the pepperoni though! This week I got an order of lasagna with meat sauce and it was a really good size portion! It was just as delicious as I remembered it!
The take-out service is always fast & friendly!
Placing a order over the phone is quick and easy.
Their pricing is reasonable and the food is well worth it.
In my opinion Pa Raffa's is the way to go for Italian take-out...or dine-in!“

“Metro is a great place to go not only for Pizza but their sandwiches and salads are great. My diet coke and large antipasto came to $12.38. The salad was choked full of meat, banana peppers, and really fresh vegetables...crisp lettuce, cherry tomatoes...a really great salad. My friends had the following: a gyros with chips; a steak tip small salad with oil/vinegar, bag of chips, a diet coke; a bag of doritos, a tuna sub...Again really great, fast lunch place.“

“SOOOO THOROUGHLY disappointed in our most recent experience at The Roasted Pig. We went to dinner last night and arrived at 7. The floor was super sticky, almost as if it had beer spilled all over ot and someone forgot to clean the floor.. We ordered rotisserie chicken and Carne De Espeto (WELL DONE)... we were told the chicken would be 45 minutes. Our dinners came to us at 8:20. 1 hour and 20 minutes is NOT 45. The Carne de Espeto was RED and dripping. I asked for it well done.. so they took it back to re-grill. When it came back, it was STILL FAR TOO PINK for my liking (I can eat it medium, but rare makes me gag). The server apologized and I said I'd just cook it at home... When we got the bill it was $119 BEFORE tip. My kid had gotten Pepsi, with a TON of ice... and asked for a refill. Well, apparently refills aren't a thing. We got charged $10.50 for his soda. There was no compensation for the food I wasn't eating and they never even offered to fix it or bring me something else. said and done I paid $145 to not even eat my dinner. I will likely never return here of my own accord, which is awful because until last night, I would literally say they were my favorite restaurant. I don't know whats happened to make it so crappy but thr food was bland in flavor and not prepared to our order...“

“G&S Pizza in New Bedford is always on point with me!!! so I moved to Florida 31 years ago and in the last 6 years I have been coming more frequently to Massachusetts because I have a brother with stage 4 cancer and a leg amputation and now at this time I have a mother failing at a nursing home in her health... So not only have I been inside the restaurant several times to pick up a sandwich here and there and I enjoy going in because the vibe is impeccable usually younger kids work in the front but they are awesome always laughing and smiling like they really do enjoy their job very attentive to when someone walks in the door... They always say hello... they must have a really awesome cook and kitchen staff because they are always on point I have ordered three subs in the last 2 months since I've been here one I picked up and two I had delivered to my mom's and although we are paying 25 to $30 when we get takeout food today It is well well worth it. they are always on time when I grab my bag from the delivery guy It feels heavy and already I'm pleased cuz that means the sandwich is a good size sandwich. (which the last time I got a sub was Friday night it was a veal parmesan sub and onion rings and then I called and added a bottle of ginger ale and it was absolutely no trouble at all.. The kid on the phone was so polite. My sub was perfect full of meat and well worth the money And I was apprehensive because I ordered it kind of late in the evening around 9:00 9:30 cuz I am with my mother all day in Fall River taking care of her so I was very pleased to get a nice fulfilling dinner and it lasted me 2 days and I just want to say kudos & thumbs up to G & S. I tried to switch out to Palace Pizza one night and get a couple of pizzas and they are definitely not what I remembered when I was a teenager the two pizzas were small for $11 each and they were kind of well done very very thin and I was not impressed so once you know something is good stick with it. I will always always stick with G&S pizza because they never ever fail. In this day and age we all struggle financially and times are tough so thank you so much for providing us with good quality food and making it worthwhile for the price that we pay much appreciated ❤️ And please shout out to everyone tip your drivers they are coming out in freezing cold weather snowy roads some of these delivery guys are young and may not be used to it but I always give at least 20 or 30% My bill was $29 and I handed the kid a $10 bill I wish I could have gave more 🙏“
